10 | Love Or Like

The two immediately parted when they felt something soft on their lips. Hoseok panicked and started waving his arms up and down.

"I am so sorry! I seriously didn't mean that!"

Jae blinked her eyes as her brain slowly processed the situation and she didn't know if she should feel relieved or concerned.

"Hoseok, what did you mean by that kind of liking?"

"Like a sister?"

Jae finally let out a sigh in relief and hugged Hoseok.

"I was worried for nothing."

Hoseok was extremely confused.

"You are not mad at me?"

"Why would I be mad at you? Now, I can face Hyemi without any worries. You are not the one, Hoseok."

"Really?!"

His eyes immediately brightened and he hugged Jae back. He lifted her and twirled her around before putting her back on the ground.

"Why are you more happy than me?" Jae asked, pretending to be a bit hurt but couldn't hide the smile that was appearing on her face.

"That means Hyemi won't hate me."

Jae laughed at the adorable idol, "She would never do so." She then saw the manager opening the door slightly after knocking. "I will leave. Take care of yourself."

"Jae?" Hoseok calked before she left. "If you need any help, I'm there for you."

"Thanks but I'm on my own for this one."

Jae was halfway to her apartment when the rain started pouring. She hissed and quickly rushed to the nearby bus stop for shelter. She regretted not bringing her car but she couldn't blame herself since she never planned to go to the entertainment company. She was just going to meet Hyemi at the cafe near her house but ended up all the way here.

She looked up at the dark sky and figured that the rain wouldn't stop anytime soon. She took her phone out to call for uber or something when a classy black car stopped in front of her.

The window of the back seat reeled down and the person smiled with his beautiful dimples appearing on his cheek. Jae blinked her eyes and took a step closer to get a clearer view of the person. Realising who it was, she bowed.

"Jae, hop on!"

"But you must be heading somewhere."

He chuckled and waved at her.

"I was heading to your house anyways."
