I apologize for not updating in a while and I am amazed to know that I have some hardcore, religious reader base who have been counting days and time since I last updated. Y'all wouldn't believe it but I appreciate your support from bottom of my heart. Thank you for being there.

The reason for not posting lately is that I had lost the zeal to write for some time. I don't know why it happened but I was so lost that I couldn't write a single word even though the story kept whirling in my mind. But anyhow I regained my enthusiasm and I am ready to write.

Alright, now the most important thing I had to discuss with you all...

While I was away, so much changed here in Wattpad. And these are not good changes.

This platform has been taking down books without warning and refusing to talk to the authors. Two of my favorite authors with more than a hundred thousand followers, yes, you read it right, a hundred thousand followers have their accounts deactivated by Wattpad for writing mature stories. Someone reported them.

Like seriously, even after countless warnings and mature labels, people here read the stories only to report them. Just don't read it if you don't want to. Why do you report someone's hard work? Just swipe and find stories of your taste.

And why does Wattpad have explicit stories under the paid program and promote them when they delete stories of unsigned authors? See the hypocrisy?

Now, something that happened to me–

After two months of break, I come back to Wattpad only to see the comments of my readers being automatically reported for being offensive. WOW!

Here's the proof and all such comments have been automatically reported. I want to know what is offensive in this!

AND..  my story... Entangled with the crazy was reported by someone for being explicit. Really? REALLY?

Man, whoever finds those two or three chapters in Entangled with the crazy explicit then that person probably hasn't ever read explicit stories.
Fortunately, Wattpad was kind enough to warn me, unlike others whose not only stories but accounts disappeared by Thanos' snap. Can you imagine my shock?

I was so scared that my story would disappear overnight as well.

As much as I love Wattpad, I SWEAR if any of my stories get deleted, I am never coming back on Wattpad ever again. Here unsigned authors are losing the liberty to write freely.

I think Wattpad is playing rude games with authors who refused to sign their Wattpad creators program. I had my reasons for not signing the contract even after being approached two times.

Though I am not on any other platform right now, if my account ever gets deleted on Wattpad, you can find me on Inkit under the same username. No particular reason... I just find it more reliable than any other platform after Wattpad.
