Rien was holding onto Alma by her hair as I opened the door to Senka villa. He looked up from his phone and grinned as we walked over. Rien threw Alma on the ground and she crawled back until her back hit the wall, tears sliding down her face. “What do you want?” she asked. “I don't have any money, my family poor.”
“Good job, didn't take as long as I thought.” Senka said as he stood up and walked over to Alma. He bent down, lowering himself down towards her, “What a beautiful mortal you are. I can see why Seraphiel fell for you.”
“Seraphiel?” she questioned. “Who is Seraphiel? Let me go!”
“What does the father of your child call himself?” he asked.
“Stefan? How do you know Stefan?” she asked. “Wh-who are you all?”
“He didn't tell you, hmm?” Senka asked, mocking her. He reached out and pulled a strain of her dark hair back from her face, “Well first, his name is not Stefan. It's Seraphiel darling.”
“How do you know Stefan—Seraphiel?” she asked, correcting herself. “Who are you? Why'd you kidnap me?”
Senka grinned and put his elbow on his knee, placing the back of his hand under his cheek, “Alma, your safe little bubble is about to pop when I tell you everything about dear old Seraphiel.” he said, chuckling. “You're growing such a special child in you.”

I watched as Leo picked Damini off the ground by her arms and spun around. Damini giggled loudly I could hear up from the roof. A big smile appear on her tan beautiful face and she looked so happy like she wasn't worried at all about some Ancient Demon after her. Leo lifted her up more and Damini wrapped her arms and legs around him, clinging to him. She kissed his cheek and spoke in Hindi to him. She was different a little, but other than appearance of light brown skin, blonde hair, and amazingly beautiful blue eyes—she was just like every other little girl. She was a daddy girl, the same as I was. Leo's going to need to keep an eye out on her when she hits her teens because all the guys are going to be after her.
Courtney was talking with Rafael as they took the leaves off the corns. I felt better for Courtney because after all she been threw, I’m glad my sister can smile. She's been threw so much, stuff that shouldn't have happened to her. I know our dad is smiling down because she is smiling again and out of the basement. Maybe have a protective daddy moment because Rafael, but Rafael a good guy.
It seemed to happen every weekend there was a cook out for everyone. Neighbors were finding it strange that so many people were at our house so we had to make everything as normal as possible. I also think it's because it's a way for us to avoid why everyone really here. My mom told me it's something we can all do together, not be all cramp inside the house.
Uncle Carter, Uriah, and Gaspar were all joking around, playing football. Nellie and Saya was talking about stuff. I can see Saya wasn't regretting leaving her home, she's been smiling allot. I think being in a different environment was making her happy and feeling more alive.
“Hey.” I heard Aracelia and I turned my head to see her popping her head out the attic window. “What are you doing all the way up here? You should be down there.”
“I don't wanna be a party pooper.” I said.
“Can I join you?” she asked. I wanted to say no, but I wasn't the type to be mean and rude so I just nodded. She stepped out onto the porch and sat next to me. She looked up at the sky and smiled, closing her eyes, “The sun feels so nice today and this breeze.” She took a deep breath and let it out, “Ahh, so nice.”
“I guess so.” I said.
She frowned, “Nevaeh, you know I still love you right?”
“Wasn't really concern about if you loved me or not.” I said. I turned to look at her, “Nice to know I guess.”
She stared at me for a moment before sighing heavily, “Let it not be like this, Nevaeh. I want nothing but happiness for you.”
“You know what will make me happy.” I said.
“I can't bring back Gavin.” she said and I gave her a hard look. She scoffed, “Okay, I know what you meant. Nevaeh I—“
“You know, he came to see me last night?” I said. “You know he felt horrible because you don't love him? He's a child and he knows that, which makes me angry. He doesn't consider Sierra as his grandma, but you because your blood is also his.”
“Is that suppose to impress me or make me start liking him?” she asked.
I shook my head at her, glaring heavily at her, “He loves you and you don't care.” I said. “A child, you hate a child. If God or whoever is up there didn't want this child, thinking he was bad why would Azariah be growing inside of me? God could have prevented it, but he didn't.”
“Maybe he knows your sins.” she said and my eyebrows furrowed together. “You being with Hadrian, he thought—“
“I'm not listening to this.” I scoffed as I looked away straight ahead. “You're a cold woman, Aracelia.”
“Cold?” she asked. “Because I want you safe?”
“You can't control me, I'm not your doll.” I said. “I know it's hard for you to understand since you hated all Demons since they were created, but do you even care how I feel?”
She was quiet for a moment and I couldn't stand it. I wanted her to go away so she wouldn't see me fighting back my tears forming in my eyes. Why can't she just get over it? Is it really such a bad thing? Azariah is an innocent child, Hadrian and I were the one to make him. Azariah shouldn't be looked down on because of who his parents are.
“Be with Dante.” she said suddenly after a moment. My eyebrows furrowed together as my back stiffen and I turned my head to look at her, giving her 'are you serious?' look. “He's a good man, someone who could control that thin—Azariah. Knowing he has the right upbringing, I know he'll be good.”
“Dante would never want to take care—“
“He loves you, he'll do anything for you.” she said. “Even be the child father.”
“Azariah hates Dante, he already knows who he is.” I said. “He knows Dante isn't his father, he threw a tantrum because I was just around Dante. He wants Hadrian to be here with me, not Dante. I know Hadrian alive and I will bring him back so we can be a family. With or without you in our lives.”
“You're choosing him over me?” she asked. “You're mother, you're blood?”
“I'm choosing my son happiness.” I said and her face broke into a pained look. Like my words cut and hurt her. She opened her mouth, but I didn't want to hear it. “Go away, Aracelia.”

I walked up the stairs to the attic but when I was half down I saw Aracelia hurrying over to the staircase. She looked like she was about to cry as she ran down the staircase and she almost bumped into me. She caught herself and looked up at me, tears sliding her face. She grabbed the rail of the staircase and fell, sitting on the steps as she cried.
Awkwardly, not sure what to do with an Angel crying I sat down next to her. I wonder what made her so upset that she's crying, Aracelia was a strong woman. I never even heard of an Angel crying before. I guess I didn't think they could.
“She hates me.” she finally said. “I seen so many horrible things in this world, but having your own child hate you is the worse.” She did something that surprise me. She put her arms around me and placed her forehead on my shoulder, crying. I never heard of an Angel that needed comfort. I grew up knowing Angels were strong creatures that never needed help. They were soldiers, not soft.
I put my arm around her shoulders and rubbed her arm, “Nevaeh isn't a child anymore, Aracelia. Stop blaming her child or Hadrian for everything.”
“Blaming?” she scoffed.
“Yes, blaming. Nevaeh isn't a child that needs a hand. She isn't as innocent as you think, she can stand on her own two feet now. She knew what she was getting into when she decided to be with Hadrian, it's not like he forced her to be with him. It was her own free will, stop thinking she's the victim. She's made her own decisions, she can't change them now and you can't judge her for that.” I said.
“I. . .I would never judge her.” she said.
“You're judging her child though.” I said and her eyes squeezed closed, breathing out a hard breath, then opened her eyes. They were soft brown color, like silk. A tear beamed in her eyes as she looked up at me, her full lips quivering a little. She actually looked human, nothing supernatural and if I would have just met her, I would have thought she was an ordinary Mortal woman. She was completely beautiful though, it still surprised me. I heard of Angels being the most beautiful creatures ever created and I guess it was true.
I felt her hand moved behind my neck and she lifted herself up. My heart raced as she brought her face closer to mine and placed her mouth over mine. My eyes widen as I looked at her, her eyes closed and I could feel her thick eyelashes slightly brush against my skin. Completely surprise, I just froze there as she lingeringly kissed me. I wasn't even sure if I was suppose to push her away or if that would be a bad thing. I was not trying to get my ass prohibited from heaven.
Her lips were nice though. Full and soft, I’ve always noticed them and Nevaeh had the same pair of lips. I felt her mouth part a little as she kissed me and I could smell the mint in her mouth. My eyes closed slowly as we kissed right there on the staircase.
Me! Kissing an Angel! Someone who was forever damned to be a vessel for a Demon was being kissed by an Angel for God knows why! I never thought anyone close to being holy would kiss me if they knew that, but here someone so high as her position was. I brought my hand up and ran it threw her soft dark brown hair. Not tangles or anything. It was soft, nothing ever done it. Aracelia did have pretty hair, it was long to the point where it reached the bottom of her back and it was thick.
She then pulled away and I wanted to pull her back but it was like someone splashed cold water all over me as I realized what I was doing. Aracelia looked as surprised as I was as she stared at me with horror look on her face, her hand covering her mouth.
She stood up, running her fingers threw her hair as she quickly ran down the stairs, “What have I done?” she asked herself as she disappeared.
What have I done?
I ran my hand down my face before running it across my hair. What was I doing? I shouldn't be kissing an Ang—Nevaeh mom! Like—what? How stupid am I? I must me stupid and I never say that about myself! But right now I felt pretty damn stupid and I can only imagine Nevaeh face if she ever found that out!
I stood up, still shocked as I turned and walked the rest of the way upstairs. How was I suppose to look at Nevaeh in the eyes now that I kissed her own mother? Her mother who has a really good body-
Dante, stop it!, I yelled. I can't believe I just said that about an Angel! I'm really doomed now.
Hesitatingly walking over to the attic women, I lowered my head and looked out the window where I was Nevaeh sitting with her knee pressed against her chest. A sad look was on her face and she was twirling the pink color band around her ring finger.
“Hey.” I said.
She turned her head to look at me, “Hey.”
“Can I come out?” I asked.
“You're still going to come out even if I say no, aren't you?” she asked.
No, I thought but that would make her curious and wonder why I gave up just like that. Truthfully, I felt guilty and I never feel about anything. I don't feel guilty about falling in love with her, kissing her, or even attempting to be try and be with her even if Hadrian was still in her head. I felt guilty about kissing Aracelia though. I couldn't let her know that though. I forced my usual grin for the show, “Right.” I said as I climbed out even though I wanted to run away.
I moved next to her and I looked down at everyone in the yard. They were all having a good time with the cook out like they were always. “Must be strange to have so many people in your house.”
“They're becoming like family.” she said. “Sure, I would like some peace and quiet but we all have to make sacrifices. You wanna get out of here though?”
I looked at her confused, “And go where?”
“I have to go find someone.” she said.
I groaned, “Nevaeh, we don't know where Senka is. We don't know where he is, we don't know where Had—“
“No, no that.” she said. “I have to go find—an old friend per say if you want. We never got real close though.”
“And who is this person?” I asked.
“A Demon.” she said and I scoffed, rolling my eyes. “His name is Armando. Him and Hadrian were real close and apparently Armando knows people in Senka court. We find Armando, we find—“
I snorted, “Hadrian?”
“And Senka.” she said. “We find the location and we can finally end it. I just need to find Armando.”
“And how do you plan to find him?” I asked. “Huh? Do you know where he is?”
“No, but it shouldn't be hard.” she said. “Ask a few Demons if they know and we find him.”
“You think it's that simple, huh?” I asked and she shrugged. “Why ask me for help?”
“You were the first person around.” she said. “I could ask Uncle Carter, Saya, or Nick. I think Nick will be very eager to find Senka so I might just go ask him.”
“You are crazy, you know?” I asked and her eyebrows furrowed together confused. “You're pregnant, Nevaeh. You should be taking care of yourself. You're not just showing anymore, you have a small bump now and you should be taking care of yourself.”
“I can't take care of myself when I know he's out there, Dante. I'm sorry you don't understand, but I need him here.” she said, her eyes getting soft. “I can do this with or without you. I know he'll hate to hear this, but your a better fighter then Nick. I mean, Saya taught you and she was once the best Hunter in the world. Help me.” she begged, her green and brown—the brown eye actually looked more hazel now—widen in an innocent look I couldn't resist.
+Hadrian.+
I could actually smell her shampoo as I ran my fingers threw it. I pressed my nose against her head and inhaled deeply. I heard her giggle a little, “I love you, Hadrian.” she said. “The stars look so pretty.”
“Their just exploding balls of helium and hydrogen.” I said as I moved my mouth from the crown of her head and kissed her cheek. Her cheeks were still full, they only slimmed down a little. I liked her cheeks, it was cute when she smiled.
“They're still pretty!” she said as her head rest back against my chest. She held her arm up, “Look, that star right there is the biggest one. It's really bright.”
She shivered a little from the cool desert air so I wrapped her better in the blankets, “We should go inside now.”
“No!” she chuckled. “This is the only time we can be alone with Uncle Carter watchful eyes on us.” She turned herself around and smiled at me, “I still can't believe your here. You're risking so much.”
“I'll risk anything to be with you.” I told her. I brushed back her brown hair from her face and put my hand behind her head, bring her mouth close to mine,“I'll kill a thousand people who try to take me from you.” Her hand took mine and she entwined our fingers together.
She pulled away after a moment, “Do you we were meant to find each other other? As cheesy as it is, but do you think? Why would I want to be with you? A cold heart Demon?”
“Why does anything that happen happens?” I asked. “I'm not that same person anymore, Nevaeh. Just know there's no one else eyes that can see threw me. You know so much more of me then anyone else. I was touched by light.”
She smiled at me and kissed me.
I touched her arms until I froze, actually feeling control of my own body. I pushed Nevaeh away and hurried away from the car, “Get out of my head!” I yelled. I rank my fingers threw my hair, wanting to pull my own hair out,“This isn't real. No, it isn't.”
“Hadrian?” I heard Nevaeh behind me, her voice sounding hurt.
“Azariah!” I coldly said. “You little vermin, stop this now!”
“This is my first memory of you both though.” I heard him behind me and I turned around quickly, glaring at him. He stood next to Nevaeh, it was like she froze where she stood as she looked at me with a hurt look on her face.
“It's not real!” I coldly said to him. “Why can't you understand that?”
“But it is.” he said. “Go find her and see for yourself.”
I scoffed, “You would like that, huh?”
“If it was never real, go find her and tell her that.” he said. “Senka just playing some game with her. He wants her broken down, but do you really wanna play some stupid game papa? Why not just go get her and take her back?”
“It's not my order.” I said.
“I wanna see you prove you don't care.” he said.
“Damnit, you're a stubborn child!” I said as I walked over to him. I bent down and pushed him back, “Stay out of my dream you vermin and never call me 'papa' again. I might have help created you, but I am not your father.” His green eyes stared at me for a moment, but it wasn't a sad upset look a normal kid would give if someone said that to them. This kid just doesn't crack does he? Stronger then I thought. “Go back to your mom.”
“Go find her.”
“Why should I?” I asked, snorting. “You both mean nothing to me.”
“Why are you scared to go?” he asked and my eyebrows furrowed together, confused and started laughing at how ridiculous he sounded. “I know what you're think, papa. You're scared if you actually do you go look for her, you know I was right and Senka been lying to you.”
“You have allot of guts, kid.” I said. I chuckled, grinning down at him, “Okay, I’ll go find your mother and I’ll bring her back here. Senka will have her and I’ll just watch as he does whatever he wants with her. Feed from her, eh, I don't care. I had allot of her soul already, I can't be greedy forever.”
“I saw what happens when you kiss her.” he said. This kid is giving me headaches now! He giggled innocently like a normal mortal kid.
“I won't be kissing anyone.” I said. “Now, get out of my dreams you vermin.”
My eyes fluttered open as I woke up and I groaned, rubbing my stiff neck as I sat up. I really shouldn't have fallen asleep, that brat is always inside my head lately tormenting me. Yes, my own kid is tormenting me because he wants me to go back to his mother. Why can't he understand I never did love her? I wonder where he gets his stubbornness from. Clearly not me.
I stood up and walked over the chair, grabbing my jacket. I guess I'm leaving, Senka will probably know I’m leaving and why.
