I snatched my phone from Aidric once he took the piece out of his pocket. I set it up as Saya spoke to Aidric and Hector about making sure to take care of their home while she is gone and hope to return soon as possible.
“Relax, it's only been two days.” Dante said as he joined next to me to lean against the car. We were back on the mountain where even though Saya was leaving with us, they still blind folded Dante and I when they drove us back here. “You and Hadrian survived this long with each other.”
“Shut up.” I hissed coldly. “Even, I want to see if Nick called about Uncle Carter and Gavin.”
After a moment my phone started beeping. My eyebrows furrowed when beep after beep appeared. Dante also was confused as he lowered to look at my phone as missed call after missed call appeared. About forty actually.
Most from home.
I quickly called home and Nellie answered, “Hello?”
“What's happening?” I asked.
She sighed heavily like she had been holding her breath for a long time, “Good God thank you for finally calling us. Courtney missing.”
“What?” I questioned. I misheard her there, I had thought she just said Courtney was missing. What the hell does she mean by 'missing'?
“Courtney is missing, Nevaeh, a Demon kidnapped her.” she said and my blood turned cold as I stared at the dirt road. My hand shook, making the phone shake as a large hard lump formed in my throat, making me unable to talk. “Nevaeh? Nevaeh? You need to come home now, with or without Saya. We have no idea where she was taken, you uncle is already on his way back with Nick and Gavin, so you need to come now.”
Dante took the phone from me when I didn't answer and talked to Nellie about we'll hurry as I only stood there shaking. My sweet, innocent sister was taken buy those . . . snakes! I screamed loudly, making Saya turned around surprised. I brought my foot and kicked the right back headlights.
“Stop it!” Dante yelled when he pulled me away from the car. He turned me around, holding tightly onto my arms, and I glared up at him, “We're going, okay? We'll find her, she's fine.”
I shook my head quickly, “She's only fourteen, Dante! Oh, my God, she's probably scared out of her mind!” I said as I brought my hand up to my hair and rank my fingers threw my thick hair. “What if—what could they be doing with her?”
“That isn't the time to being thinking about that.” he said. “Saya, we need to leave. Like now.”

I walked out of the Inn sign in office and over towards Carter car. Dante was in the front in the driver seat and I saw an older women in the passenger seat. I opened the door to the back seat and got in. “Nevaeh?” I questioned when I got into the car and saw her leaning against the backstreet door. She looked like she had been crying, dried tears on her face. I touched her arm, but she jerked and brought her hand up to her face.
“Senka took to my sister.” she said and my eyebrows furrowed together. She turned her head and took a deep breath, “And we have no idea where they are.”
“Oh damnit.” I said as Dante pulled out of the Inn and out onto the road.
“Uncle Carter and the others are already on their way back.” she said. “I don't know how we're going to find her, Hadrian. She's probably scared out of her mind. I don't want to think what they're doing to her.”
“Hey, hey, stop.” I said when she start crying. I put my arm around her, holding her to close to me, “We'll find her, Uccellina.”

I knocked onto the bathroom door of the motel room. Nevaeh been in there for a while now, I wasn't sure what she could be doing in there for so long. When she didn't answer, I went inside. I walked over to the shower and opened the curtain. Nevaeh looked up at me, her green eyes filled with sorrow. She was sitting on the shower floor, her knees up to her chest. I turned off the water and kneeled down next to the tub, “We'll find her, Nevaeh. Worrying isn't going to help.”
“I can't help it.” she said. “For some reason, it feels like it's already too late. She's been gone for almost three days, Hadrian, I don't want to know what they done to her. I should have just stayed home like you all said I should.”
“I'll try to get inside her dreams, Nevaeh.” I said. “I don't know if Senka blocked me, but I'll try. Now come on.” I said as I grabbed a towel and got her out the tub. As she got dressed in some night clothes, I noticed her stomach. I walked over to her and brought her over towards the mirror, turning her half way, “Look, you are showing.”
She was still frowning, “A tiny bit.”
“I had a lot of time to think just sitting in the Inn.” I said as I rubbed her bare stomach. She gave me a curious look and I grinned, “I like the name Azariah.”
By the way she made the face, it seemed like she didn't like it very much which made me chuckle. It is an old name, but I had met someone in Israel once with that name and I always thought it was unique. “Azariah?” she questioned. “Because I like Noah.”
“No, I like Azariah. Noah is to—ehh.” I said since that is one of the first few names I would never choose to call my child.
“You seem to really want the baby to be a boy.” she said. I've been debating to tell her or not about that I know it is it boy from Senka telling me. I didn't want to ruin the surprise for her though, I know it's a happy thing for mothers to learn the gender from a doctor, not a Demon. “What if it's a girl?”
“Amelia.” I said and she seemed more opened minded to the name because she didn't look so odded out by the name Azariah. It was actually just the name of the old lady working at the Inn and the first name I could think of. I never given much thought for a girl name, but I'm girl I would spend hours at end thinking for the perfect name if it was a girl.
“Azariah?” she questioned again with the same look she gave me when I first mentioned it. “Seems pretty . . . old.”
“Well I've heard allot of different names in my life.” I said. “And it means help of God I thought it suit for what's happening. And hopefully makes Aracelia less want to kill for me liking Keir which means is a less light meaning. Wouldn't want her to go off to be reminded that her grandson is half demon and try to start a fight with me.”
“Jeez, I forgot all about Aracelia.” she said as she threw her head back onto my chest and groaned.
I took her hand and pulled her over towards the bed. I sat on the bed and touched her belly, “Aracelia will have to get over it, if she likes it or not. You are strong, Nevaeh, I believe you'll be fine. Isn't that right? Mama is very strong.”
A smile finally appeared on her face. It was a small one, but still lighten her green eyes a little bit to show happiness.
“And you are papa first child, so don't be such a hellion.” I said and she hit me behind my head. I put my arms around her waist and brought her close to me, placing my head against her stomach. “I'm going to have to change my surname for him or her, it'll be like it's a whole new me. It'll make things much less easier for people to find me.”
“To what?” she asked. “Can you even really change it?”
“My first surname was Serafino, that was Rien surname he used when he was with me but after a while I changed it to Falco.” I said as I leaned away.
“So what are you changing it to?” she asked. She chuckled lightly, “Eagle? Hawk? Or some other big bird name?”
“Uccellino.” I said and her eyes widen slightly. “Azariah Uccellino.” I said as I poked her stomach.
“Okay, if the baby is a boy, we are calling him Ezra if we choose that name.” she said.
I chuckled, “Fine with me.”

I came up to a wooden craved door around the mess of fog. Courtney must have been on the other side, Senka must have either not bothered to tamper with her mind or wanting me to come in her dreams.
Which worries me more.
I touched the old scribe indent in the door, recognizing the lock sign on the door. Which means the door is locked without no key, only a spell is keeping this door shut. I tried the handle and it opened for me.
I walked into the large room where is the last place I thought to find her. This room looked to be some wealthy guest, not a prisoner.
Courtney was sitting in front of the fire place. She never turned to face me as I walked over to her.
"Courtney." I said and I saw her shoulders jerk. She straighten her back since she was slouching. But she didn't turn. I walked around her to look at her. She was glaring into the fire, skin pale, hair oily and brittle, and she looked drained. "Courtney, its Hadrian."
"Leave." she said. "You're one of them."
"I'm not on their side though." I said. "I'm on Nevaeh."
"You're a monster, not matter what side you're on." she said. She looked up at me, giving me a hard cold look, "My sister is stupid if she's with you."
"Courtney, where are you? Have you been out of this room?" I asked. "Have this did anything to you?"
"I'm not talking to you." she said as she looked back into the fire.
"Courtney, Nevaeh is scared about you. Tell me what they have done to you so she can relax and focus on finding you?" I said as I kneeled down next to her. "Don't for me, but for Nevaeh."
She didn't speak for a moment, only looking into the fire. She opened her mouth a little and took a deep breath, "Nothing, they've done nothing to me other than be around. This guy, Haidar, he's the one that took me. He came as a sneak first then turned into a guy. He tricked me into coming Hadrian, I would never gone with him." she said as she turned to look at me.
I nodded, "I've heard of him, he's a trickster. It's not your fault and if he's still being near you as I think, he's draining you. He's making you depressed, don't let him get you to far or you'll want to kill yourself. Where are you?"
"I only left this room once and I stayed inside. It's huge, like a mansion or castle or something. No, they haven't done anything to me. I've seen Senka twice and said I could go out when I'm trusted and I'm more of a guest." she said. "I couldn't even get a hint to where this place is. I want to get out of here."
I nodded, "We're going to find you, okay? You're going to have to be strong though. Don't look into Haidar eyes, the less you don't you'll stay strong. Eat everything they give you, you're going to need food to stay strong."
"Senka wants you to be here, he wants you to come look for me. You two shouldn't come, it's what he wants." she said and jumped when there was a loud slamming sound like a door being slammed. "He's here."
"Senka?" I asked.
"No, Haidar. He can't come into my dreams but he's probably near my body." she said. She looked at me, "He's crazy, Hadrian, he--he won't leave me alone. He keeps talking about marrying me, he can't do that." she said. "Right?" she asked when I didn't answer.
I shook my head quickly, "No, he won't. Don't worry about that, Courtney, we're going to find you before he could do that." I wouldn't doubt Haidar had the guts to force poor Courtney into marriage, he's been known to do that. He never loved those girls, he was obsessed with those girl and his obsession turned deadly.
"What?" she asked as she started to panic. "He can't, Hadrian, you said--"
"I said he won't." I said as I grabbed into her shoulder to calm her down. "Courtney, we're going to find you okay? It's not going to happen. Don't worry. Try and get out of this room, okay? Worry about that more."
"But--" I gave her a hard look and she nodded, " O-okay, I'll try."
I forced myself out of the dream and rubbed my eyes. At least I can give Nevaeh some good news so she will be more relaxed. I don't want to see her stress like this, it wasn't good for her. My arm stretched out to take Nevaeh hand but I came to nothing but a spread sheet.
I jumped as I looked at the spot where Nevaeh should be but she wasn't. I saw in the corner of my eyes Nevaeh standing. I turned my head to the right and saw her hand, facing the wall.
"Nevaeh?" I questioned as got up. I went in front of her to see her eyes open as she swayed back and forth. She was mumbling in Latin, her right hand on her stomach. "Okay, let's get to bed." I said as I turned her around slowly and helped her over to the bed.
She moaned in disapproval and swung her arms when I tried to get her to sit down so I put my arms around her arms to hold them down, "Shh, shh, it's okay. Sleep." I whispered into her ear.
She stopped fighting in her sleep and her body pressed against me telling me she stopped sleep walking. I reached down and picked her up. I placed her on the bed and brought the blankets up to her. Her eyes were closed and sleeping peacefully.
I sat on the bed next to her and sighed. Many more nights of this. I've only lived once around a women who was pregnant by a Demon and sleepwalking was pretty common to happen. I left after a month. I can't leave it now though, I'll have to be here to help her back to bed.
