It's hard to see her crying because of me. I've to deal with this matter as soon as possible.. I want to ask her to be my girlfriend but then again I'm afraid what will she say, if she says no!

My heart says she's going to say yes but then my mind thinks differently... I've to think again about this. I glanced at her and saw she's asleep on my shoulder. I picked up the popcorn bowl and placed it on table....lifting her up in bridal style I climbed upstairs to her room and tucked her down in bed.

Leaning towards her I gave a peck on her forehead and walked out closing the door behind me. I went downstairs and saw Andria coming inside.

"Hi miss Voltaire" I greeted her.

"Oh, its Andria for you. Hi, where's my baby?" she asked.

"She's sleeping.. Don't worry she ate sandwiches already no need to disturb her sleep for food" I smiled at her and she told me to sit on couch.

"So how's your day?" I asked playing with my mobile.

"Good. Did she cried or what? Because she'll not go to bed this early?" she asked pouring coffee and came again to me.

"Yeah... She fought with Duke it seems. He didn't took our relation in a good way and she's upset about it" I replied rubbing the nape of my neck.

"Hmm.. He's protective towards her I know that. But why he don't like you?"

"We had a fight three years back and not in good terms, he believes that I'm not good for her that's it!" I ran my fingers through my hair.

"Okay. Solve it as soon as possible and don't make my baby cry" I nodded at her.

"When are you going to propose her?" she asked suddenly. I looked at her in horror she laughed watching me "I mean when are you asking her to be your girlfriend?"  she asked in amusement.

"Soon" I told her and stood up to leave.

"Okay...good night" she bid byes and I left to my home.

I wanted to talk with Duke about this matter before my Evelyn goes crazy. But then my grandfather called me saying that we've to fly New York for some business meeting.

I took my phone and called Evelyn....

"Good morning, are you here already?" I heard her cheery voice.

I smiled and replied "No, I'm not coming to school for three days. You know I've gotta work to do. So I can't see you"  I explained briefly.

"Umm.. Fine. I'll go with cathy, but where are you going?when will you come?"

"I'll be out of town. Take care... I'll call you once I'm free" I hung up before she can ask many questions.

I'm managing my family's company while attending school. Father doesn't want to lead the company after my grandfather so it leaves me to take care of it. That's the reason I'll be skipping schools for entire one to two weeks. My father didn't protest, he gave permission to do as I want.

Coming to my grand parents charles and Ria, they're not so attached with my Dad after my mother's death because they blamed him for her death. I know there's something wrong with her but then we ignored her health not me but my father because of the business. After her death he handed the company again to his father leaving no option for my grandpa to run it with my help. So here I am doing company's works along with my school work... I'm still learning from my grandfather charles.

I kept charging to my mobile and went to take shower. After dressing up I called Charles that I'll be in airport in an hour and I drove straight to Airport. I met my grandpa there and we boarded into our company's flight. Charles sat across me and I fished my mobile out and saw a text from Evelyn.

'When will you be back? I'm alone here... Duke's still not talking with me'

I felt bad for her.. I should've talked to Duke. I guess she's crying again... I called her but it went to voicemail I think she's in class. So I placed a text instead.

'Try to talk with him Eve. I'll be back in three days, don't worry!'

I switched off my mobile and Charles told me about the deal which we're going to talk at New York meeting. I went through files and took a nap.

Once we landed we went straight to hotel and I showered and went to meeting with my grandfather. I met some businessmen who are charles friends and some others. We talked our terms in this deal and Mr knight invited us to a party tomorrow where he'll sign our deal in front of press. We shook hands and went back to hotel.

I sat in lobby while Charles took some phone calls... I fished out my mobile and saw no texts from her.

I miss her already! What's she doing not even texting me?

My mobile started ringing...... I saw caller Id Flora on screen.

"Hello"

"Hey Blake. How's your flight journey?"

"Its good. What's up?"

"Nothing much. LaFrance took sides with stella and bullied Evelyn today at School"

"What? What did he do?" I asked gritting my teeth.

"It's just he's jealous of you two... So he went and announced about your relationship at canteen. Catherine and julia supported her while James and Duke sat there watching some show.. Exactly what happened to her friends? She cried alot today.. I felt bad for her. At last Harry knocked Rick out and then her friends dragged her away from there"  by the time ahe finished I was breathing heavily controlling my anger.

"Ok flo... I'll talk with harry. Thanks and bye" I hung up and called Harry.

"Hey, what happened today at School?" I asked as soon as he picked up my call

"Rick pulled an act on Evelyn. Saying that she's two timer and that she's dating you and him at the same time. She kept on saying that she didn't like him but then Stella came in between saying that she stole her boyfriend that is you.. I stopped them by giving a punch to him and stella scurried away from there"

"How's she?" I whispered

"She cried alot.. I think C and J sent her home. But then Duke didn't even supported her.. That stupid. What happened to him?I'll talk to him tomorrow"

"Leave them alone Harry. I'll deal once I got there"

"Okay.. Talk to her once. Bye"

"Yea... Bye" I hung up and turned around to see Charles there listening to my conversation.

"Who's she son?"

I took a seat on couch and told him everything that we're childhood friends - classmates-her crush - our deal- lastly my love for her.

"I'm happy that you got a girl of your dreams" he grinned patting my back.

"I think she won't accept me easily grandpa because I hurt her alot in past"

"No. She likes you and she's still with you after knowing about your flings at school. So she's different and unique son" 

"Hmm.. I hope so" I went to my room and changed into tracks.

I called her and then it went to voicemail again.. Getting worried about her I called her mother and she said she went to sleep already crying for awhile. I hung up and went to sleep thinking how to bring her cheery mood tomorrow.

I woke up and decided to talk to her as its Saturday and she'll be at home. I called her in face-time and aoon she pick up.

"Hi" I greeted her cheerily. She wore her blue pajamas and kept her hair in ponytail, her face is slightly swollen too. So she cried alot yesterday.

"Hey Blake. How are you?" she forced a smile.

"I'm fine Eve. How are you?"

"Good. What's up?"

"Nothing. I came to newyork with my grandfather, I'm quite busy"

"Oh you went to visit your grandfather. How's he?"

"He's fine. Did you practice maths?"

"Hmm... Miss bethany conducted a surprise test which is a disaster for me. I did worst " she said frowning.

" Hmm okay. I'll teach you, don't worry. So are you alright? Did anything happened?"

"No. I'm alright... I'm going to shopping with susan today"

"Okay" I stopped talking

"When will you come?" she asked giving me a sad smile.

It's the third time she asked about it.

"I'll be there by Monday"

"Baby, susan is here. Come down" I heard her mom's voice.

"Okay. Enjoy your shopping babe, bye. Take care" she smiled and hung up.

Atleast she talked to me, I'm better now. She didn't shut herself out from everyone and going to shopping with her friend, thank god. I've to leave soon and once I got there I'll deal with this LaFrance.. I'll strangle him to death with my own hands.
