It was the time of the morning, the birds were hovering over the cafe and were chirping. Muskan was sitting at her table where she and Sameer always sit and she was waiting for Sameer. She saw the time on her watch and it shows 08:45 am. Muskan thinks and her eyes got teary. Muskan sighs and wipes her eyes so that tears can not fall from her eyes.

Muskan: aaj ye qisa bhi khatam howa. Ek naya safar shuru howa.

Muskan looked at the entrance and then she looked down. Muskan holds her bag and got up. She kept her cell phone in the bag and she closed the button. A wind blows and Muskan closed her eyes. She felt something and turned her face. She saw Sameer is coming who was looking down, here and there. Sameer scratched his nose. Muskan's happiness had no limits but soon her smile faded and tears. She thinks and saw the time on her watch and it shows 08:56 am. Muskan thinks.

Muskan: nahi, Muskan, wo tujhse milne nahi aya wo to is liye aya hai kyun ke tere jane ka time ho gaya hai.

Muskan looked at Sameer who was talking on the phone. Muskan looked at him emotionally. Muskan thinks.

Flashback:

1. Muskan: Kal subha main tumhara cafe main wait karun gi agar tum aoge to main samjhongi ke tum ne mujhe mauf kar diya aur agar nahi aye to I promise ye humari akhri mulaqat hogi.

2. Muskan: agar kabhi kahin samna bhi howa to mukar kar chali jaungi lekin tumhare pass nahi aungi.

Flashback.

Muskan was in deep thought. She grabbed her bag and turned. She took a side way so that Sameer could not see her. Muskan was going by looking down and Sameer was talking on the phone, his face was to Muskan’s side but he turned. Muskan was going from there and she passed behind his back. She looked at him and goes. She stopped at the entrance and thinks. Muskan turned and faced Sameer's back. Muskan thinks and goes.

Muskan stopped near her car and took out the keys from her bag. She was shaking because her emotions were at their peak. She was trying to insert the keys

Person: Muskan.

Muskan flinched and the key falls from her hand.

Muskan looked around but no one was there. She saw a man is carrying a girl of 6, 7 years old.

Man: Muskan, how many times I have told you to not cross the road alone?

The man kissed his daughter. Muskan got emotional. She was missing her father and wanted him near her right now but it can't be possible.

Muskan wiped her tears and picked up the key. She inserted the key and wiped her tears. Muskan opened the car door and was about to get in the car but someone holds her wrist and pulled her back. Muskan flinched and jumped in fear. Her side hit the car door and she felt pain at her side. She squeezed her eyes and when she opened her eyes she was shocked to see Sameer who was panting. Muskan was shocked. She was not able to understand anything as she was in shock. Sameer took a deep breath but still was panting.

Sameer: kahan ja rahi thi?

Muskan frowns then she understands but she was upset and angry because Sameer came late. Muskan jerks her arms and frees them.

Sameer looked at her hand then he looked at Muskan.

Muskan: Tum se matlab.

Sameer frowns.

Muskan: Tum to humari friendship khatam kar chuke ho na.

Sameer looked at her.

Muskan: maine kaha tha na agar tum nahi aye to tumhe kabhi apna chehra nahi dikhaongi. Ab main ja rahi hun.

Muskan was about to move.

Sameer: lekin main to aya hun na.

Muskan: jab mere jane ka time howa tab aye.

Sameer: aray wo traffic main phas gaya tha is liye late ho gaya.

Muskan looked at him. Sameer pinched his throat.

Sameer: sachi.

Muskan found his antics cute and she smiled but again she made a serious face. Sameer frowns.

Muskan: lekin tum ek call to kar sakte the na? Pata hai main kitna hurt hoi hun.

Sameer holds his ear.

Sameer: Sorry.

Muskan looked at him. She ignores him and folds her arms. Sameer leans toward Muskan if someone sees them then he or she will interpret that they are in a relationship or dating but they are sharing a pure relationship of friendship. Muskan looked at him.

Sameer: agar call kar deta to tumhare chehre ki muskan kaise dekh pata.

Muskan frowns.

Sameer: main tumhe surprise dena chahta tha.

Muskan: sachi.

Sameer: muchi.

Muskan was looking at him keenly.

Muskan: you are saying the truth.

Sameer nods and pinched his throat.

Sameer: 100%

Muskan: lock kar dun?

Sameer blinked his eyes by making a monkey face. Muskan was looking at him. Suddenly, Muskan starts hitting him. Sameer was stunned.

Muskan: tumhare is surprise ke chakar main kitna bura laga hai mujhe. Meri jaan nikal rahi thi aur tum ho ke surprise. Surprise dena tha.

Muskan was hitting him while complaining to him and Sameer was smiling and saying.

Sameer: Muskan. Muskan, stop. Muskan, no. Ouch, lag gai.

Muskan stopped

Muskan: acha howa.

Muskan again starts hitting him.

Muskan: Aur lagni chahiye.

Muskan punches his chest but Sameer holds his abdomen.

Sameer: aah, aaaoooo.

Muskan stopped and Sameer winces. Muskan got worried. She holds Sameer's arm.

Muskan: Sameer, you ok?

Sameer: aaahhh.

Muskan panicked and looked around. Sameer opened his one eye and Muskan saw that. Sameer instantly closed his eye. Muskan grins her teeth and again starts hitting his arm. Sameer was stunned.

Muskan: dusht. Drama kar rahe the.

Sameer laughed and Muskan stopped to see him. Muskan adored Sameer. Sameer stopped laughing and was panting. He signs what happened by raising his eyebrows and Muskan came back to reality and shook her head. Muskan felt awkward and to overcome it, Muskan again starts hitting him. Sameer smiled then he holds Muskan's hand.

Sameer: acha, bus, bus. Relax.

Sameer left Muskan's hand who was panting. Muskan folds her arms and looked away. Sameer holds his ear.

Sameer: I am sorry.

Muskan looked at him and smiled.

Muskan: it's ok. I am glad that you forgave me.

Sameer smiled.

Sameer: the mistake was mine. I did not tell you about my wife.

Muskan looked down then she looked at Sameer and smiled.

Sameer: andar chalen?

Muskan: meri (she looked at her watch) dus baje ek meeting hai to mujhe jana hoga.

Sameer: oh.

Muskan: sham ko milte hain?

Sameer nods and clapped.

Sameer: ok, as you wish.

Muskan: Bye.

Sameer: Bye.

They smiled then Muskan got into the car and Sameer waved his hand. Muskan smiled and starts the car. She looked at Sameer and then she goes. Sameer sighs and was relieved.

In the evening, Sameer was sitting in the cafe and was waiting for Muskan. He looked at the entrance and Muskan was coming by looking at her watch then she came to him. They smiled.

Muskan: Hi.

Sameer: Hi.

Muskan sat and kept her bag on the table.

Muskan: such a tiring day.

Sameer smiled. He passed a bottle to Muskan who smiled.

Muskan: thank you. Mujhe is ki bohat zarorat thi.

Sameer smiled and Muskan drank the water.

Muskan: ab jaan main jaan ayi.

Sameer was smiling. Karan came to them.

Karan: so, all sorted?

They smiled and then they looked at each other. Karan sat there and they enjoyed the evening.

Sameer entered his home and was very happy. He saw his mother and grandmother sitting in the living area.

Sameer: Hi, dadi. Hi, mom.

They smiled. Sameer sat and was smiling.

Ambika: kya baat hai aaj bara khush nazar araha hai warna kal to janab ke tevar hi badle howe the.

Sameer: han wo Mus...

Sameer stopped. Ambika and Indaravati looked at each other then they looked at Sameer.

Sameer: Mo, mosam acha hai na is liye.

Ambika: acha?

Sameer nods. He felt awkward.

Sameer: ab, main, main fresh ho kar aata hun.

Sameer got up and goes. The ladies laughed.

Indaravati: ab to mujhe bhi lagta hai ke Muskan ka kuch to chakar hai.

Ambika got excited.

Ambika: hain na? I hope asa hi ho aur mere bache ki zindagi main khushiyan ajaen phir main sukoon se mar sakti hun.

Indaravati: Ambikkaaa. Kuch nahi hoga tujhe. Acha soch. Acha sochegi to acha hi hoga.

Ambika smiled and looked at the plate which was held in her lap.

Sameer stopped in the corridor and sighed.

Sameer: bach gaya warna mom to pata nahi kahan pohanch jati.

Sameer smiled.

At the time of the night, Sameer was standing in the room near the window and was looking at the sky.

Sameer: aaj main bohat khush hun, Maya. Mere aur Muskan ke bich sab theek ho gaya.

Sameer smiled. On the other side, Muskan was standing under the picture frames of her parents.

Muskan: bohat khush hun. Sameer ki dosti hi kafi hai mere liye. At least hum sath to honge.

Muskan smiled.

At the time of the night, Muskan and Sameer were laying on the bed and were relieved that everything is sorted. That night both slept peacefully.

The next morning, Muskan came downstairs and she was ready to go to the café. She looked up and was surprised to see someone. She was looking at the person.
