~Kirito's POV~

Did she hear what I said in her dream somehow? W-was that why she responded? Does... Does (Y/N) love me...? No... No that can't be... She has Rin... She thinks nothing of me...

Standing, I took her hand. "I should bring you back to your room." I offered, and she lightly pulled her hand away.
"I'm alright, thanks..." Her voice rung in my ears as I stared at her and blinked.
"I'm taking you back, just to make sure you're safe..." She looked at me, her (E/C) eyes starting to narrow and shoot daggers through me.

"You know Kirigaya, I find it nice that you care for me, but you really need to lay off. You're so protective, and I don't even know what I am to you... I'm just gonna think I'm some kind of pet, cause that's what I feel like. So just fuck off for a while. No one asked you to walk me home. I'm my own person. I've been biting my tongue to say that, but now I can't hold it anymore. Just leave me alone."
I couldn't find any words to say. I just stared at her, shocked and hurt. She glared up at me, her eyes narrowed and her act holding up. I got a little closer, now pissed.

"(Y/N), I help you cause I care about you! You just need to understand that! You'd probably be pregnant or even worse, dead, if I hadn't saved you! You just wanna take that away like it's nothing!? That fucking hurts, y'know! Now that I think about it, I shouldn't have saved you!" Her eyes started to water as she gritted her teeth.

"Who the fuck asked you to save me?! I sure as hell didn't! Just leave me the fuck alone!" She ran out, but I chased her into the dim lit hallway and pinned her to the wall, hard. She thrashed in my grip.

I was right. She doesn't love me. Boy, was I wrong when I said she couldn't hate me. The look in her eyes make me wanna die for trying to care for her.

"This isn't funny, (Y/N)! Just... Just let me care for you, goddamn it! I don't want you hurt! Is that so much to fucking ask!?"

"LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!"
