It was Saturday, and Kirishima wanted to make this day so special and amazing for Kay. He had planned to take her to a restaurant, the park, and possibly the arcade if they had time. He styled his hair as he did every morning, trying to find the nicest clothes that weren't too formal. "I have to be impressive, I can't just throw a hoodie and jeans on!" He says, before finding a red polo and a nice pair of black dress pants with black tennis shoes. "Perfect!" He grinned, going to the bathroom to finish getting ready.

He picked out a nice-smelling cologne but made sure bit to over-spray. "Don't want her to drown in this..." he said to himself, knowing he's overdone the body spray before. He wanted to seem perfect, not wanting to disappoint her.

Once officially getting ready, he grabbed something that was wrapped up, smiling happily, then texted Kay to meet him in front of a fancy restaurant, then headed out.

Kirishima had arrived 7 minutes early, feeling nervous. "Okay, Kirishima! You talk to her every day, so that shouldn't be so hard...God, I hope I don't look stupid, or that the gift is bad..." he started to doubt himself until he felt a gentle tap on the shoulder. He turned and saw Kay.

"Hey, Kirishima, you okay?" She asked. She was wearing a dark blue t-shirt with a band on it and jeans, flats to match her shirt, and light makeup. She had also braided her hair as well. Kirishima was stunned, seeing how beautiful she was. Kay, however, saw how nice he looked, and suddenly felt embarrassed. "I didn't realize we were supposed to look formal! I'm so sorry! I probably look so dumb in this... I'm sorry, I should've worn the dress instead..." She told him, covering her face, but Kirishima put a hand on her shoulder, smiling warmly at her. "Hey don't worry about it! You look beautiful and cool...beautycool! That's exactly how you look right now!" He told her, reassuring her that she looked good. "You think so...? It's just you look so nice and-"
"Don't sweat it! I think you rock the style! Don't you dare feel insecure about looking beautycool!" He smiled, Kay giggling softly. "Okay, thank you."

Kirishima soon handed her his gift, seeming to blush brightly. "I...I made this for you...I hope you like it..." Kay took the gift, unwrapping it, and saw a lightly colored pebble with a heart engraved into it. Kay blushed softly, seeing there was a K.M. on the inside. "I saw the stone on the way home yesterday, and it reminded me of you, heheh... is it cheesy?" He asked, rubbing his neck a bit. Kay smiled, holding the stone course to her before looking up at him happily. "It's beautiful, thank you... though I feel a little bad not having a gift for you, but it's so sweet, I love it." She put the pebble in her pocket for safekeeping.

They soon went to the restaurant, ordering dinner food and just chatting a bit. He told her about his early childhood and she talked about the good times she had with Koy and Bakugou. "It's so cool that he's been your friend for so long! Especially since you guys seem like opposites!" Kirishima said with a smile. "What do you mean?" She asked, tilting her head in confusion. Kirishima couldn't help but admire how cute are looked for a moment, before clearing his throat. "Well... you know, you're... sweet and kind and helpful, and he's...uh..." He tried to think of a way to describe Bakugou without being mean, knowing how much he meant to her as a friend. "Well, he's... tough! Yeah, he's just a tough guy and focuses on his self-confidence a lot!"
"Do you not think I'm tough?"
"N-no, of course, you are! You're just a different tough! You're a tough woman who can take on the world, and no matter how many times you get knocked down, you get right back up! Bakugou is just...I mean he didn't let while push him around, but he isn't... gentle hearted... you know?" Kay giggled softly, seeing Kirishima was trying to be nice. "You could've just said aggressive, I wouldn't have minded that, hehe!" Kirishima smiles a bit, chuckling softly at her cute little laugh.

After a while, the gas finished, and Kirishima took her to the local park, showing her his favorite area. "Not a lot of people come to this spot, so if I ever need to think or just be alone, I just come here." He sat down, taking a deep breath in. Kay sat next to him, seeing a little bit of wildlife in the trees. "It's so beautiful out here."
"Ha, mother nature has nothing on your beauty..." Kirishima says quietly, smiling softly. Key blushed, smiling a bit, Kirishima liked at her and blushed a bit as well. "Did I say that out loud...?" He asked, feeling nervous, but Kay just scooted closer to him, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Yeah... but it was very sweet, thank you."

The two of them just sat there quietly, before seeing a bunny get a little close to them. Kay slowly moved her hand to the bunny for it to sniff her hand, gently petting it when it seemed to trust her. Kirishima just watched with a smile, seeing how gentle she sweet she was, he admired her so much.

After an hour or so, Kirishima stood up, stretching a bit. "Do you wanna go to the arcade, or wanna end the date?" He asked, holding his hand out to her to help her up. Kay smiled happily, accepting his help, and stood up. "Let's go to the arcade for a bit, I'll school you in some Galaga!" She said with a cocky grin, causing him to chuckle a bit. "Oh is that right? I'll take you on, let's go!" He took her hand and ran to the arcade with her, both of them laughing happily.

While at the arcade, they play a few different games, like Galaga, Pac-Man, Tetris, and a lot of the other classics. They were both good and about tied for the best gamer between the two. "Alright Kay, I say one more game to settle the score!" Kirishima tells her, smiling happily. "Okay! How about Donkey Kong?" Kay suggested, holding his arm as she smiled widely. "Exactly what I was thinking! Come on!" As they headed to the arcade machine, a guy with his friends grabbed Kay, having a mischievous smile. "Well well well... who do we have here? Is that Tiny Kay?" The boy says, Kay, looking at him with a fearful look. "W... what do you want, Miskei...?" She asked quietly, she tried getting out of his grip, but his hand tightened in her arm and pulled her close. "I was just playing some games when I saw your face... and I see you got attractive ~"
Kirishima narrowed his eyes, getting Kay out of his grip and standing in front of her. "That's not very manly! You're clearly making her uncomfortable, so just walk away." He told him, protecting Kay. The one known as Miskei and his friends started to laugh. "'Manly'? Tch, I don't care. She's an.. old friend from middle school, my friends and I just wanna go and show her a good time..." he then made a gesture, grabbing himself in a certain way. Kirishima growled, and Kay felt him make his arm hard. "Take that back right now... or else..." Kirishima threatened, about to get closer when Kay grabbed him. "L-let's just walk away... you don't need to get in trouble for me.." She whispered to him, holding him tightly. Miskei just laughed. "Wait wait, is he like your boyfriend or something? Haha! Come on Tiny Kay, you can do better, let me show you what...a real man can do..." he said, making the same disgusting gesture. Kirishima had enough of this guy, his arm hardened, and he punched the punk in the face. "I won't stand here and let you insult her like this! The way you made that gesture... talking down to her... I'm not letting you lay a finger on her," he growled, his eyes almost glowing in rage, looking at the other two before they ran away. "I-I'm sorry dude I was just joking!" Kirishima picked him up, fuming. "You have a sick she of humor... if I see you near Kay again, you won't be shown mercy..." he then threw him down, holding Kay, and walked out.

They walked to Kay's house in silence, Kirishima hung his head low. "Kay... I'm sorry...I didn't mean to lose it, I...I just couldn't let them talk about you like that..." he said, feeling embarrassed for losing his cool. "I... it's okay, you protected me... those guys hung around Katskui, but never said anything when he was near...I wanted to tell him but... but they said they'd make my life worse than it already was...I didn't want to lose Katskui, he's nothing like them..." Kay leaned close to Kirishima. "Maybe we should tell him when we see him, okay? He deserves to know the truth," Kirishima tells her, hugging her close. Kay felt safe with Kirishima, he was so kind and strong, and she was glad to be with him today.

They soon get to her house, and Kay bowed her head. "Thank you for the date, it was really nice... though there's still one thing..." She said, looking up at him. "I know... I'm sor-" Kirishima started until Kay leaned close, abs kissed Kirishima for a moment, her soft lips brushing against his, before gently pulling away. "N... now we both gave each other something, heh, " she smiled shyly. Kirishima was stunned, before looking at her with a smile. "Wow... you have soft lips. I... I'll see you around..." Kirishima kissed her head, before leaving.

The two went to bed with smiles on their faces... this seemed to be blossoming into something beautiful.
