Yes, Mr. Ground Zero?

A/N: Day two! This is an Office AU, Boss x Assistant. Now, this doesn't mean one is fucking eons younger than the other.

No.

Instead, they're very close in age, if not the same age. I dunno if age is even gonna come up in this oneshot, but if it does, I'll decide then.

Anyway, let's start!

Kirishima's POV

I was sitting at my desk, going through documents and paperwork, as you would assume a secretary would do.

And bitch, I'm a secretary.

But, anyway, I was trying to get work done when the elevator door on the opposite side of the room made a small noise.

Looking up from my work, I saw the doors open to see Mr. Ground Zero being followed by someone, just mumbling and speaking to him.

Mr. Ground Zero looked more than displeased. He actually looked a bit uncomfortable and... was that embarrassment I saw on his face?

His face was bright red, his brow furrowed. He didn't want to face the person behind him at all.

He walked up to my desk and planted his hands down.

"Yes, Mr. Ground Zero?" I asked, looking away from my documents.

"Listen carefully," he whispered. "Keep that bitch out of my office. But respond to what I'm sa--"

"Yes, sir, these files have been looked over already," I said with a dead expression, knowing what he was gonna ask from me.

"Thank you. And I told you that you didn't need to call me that," Mr. Ground Zero said as I handed him some folders from a drawer in my desk.

A few were actual villain files, based on those we've apprehended. Some were Quirk files that had caused damage to people or property, yet the user of said Quirk was unaware or unable to control themselves.

And then two of those are files I just created for occasions such as now.

Mr. Ground Zero really dislikes speaking to people, especially if they just come barging into their office like this person just did.

"Come on, Katsuki-kun!"

Mr. Ground Zero walked into his office and slammed the door, making the other person jump while I returned to my documents.

"What can I help you with?" I deadpanned, typing things up to fill out other documents.

"I'd like to speak with Ground Zero," their voice was strong and feminine.

A little familiar as well.

I actually looked up at the person to see Uravity in civilian clothing.

"May I ask what for, Ms. Uravity?" I asked, throwing my eyes back to my monitors, selecting a document on the one all the way to the right.

"Important hero business that is confidential," Ms. Uravity said with a sigh. "You wouldn't get it,"

I took a deep inhale and sighed, rolling my eyes.

"I apologize, ma'am, but if this is so confidential, may I ask why you stormed in here on Mr. Ground Zero's tail, almost shouting at him?" I asked, standing up. I also pressed a finger on the button to call Mr. Ground Zero's office and knocked the phone lightly off it's cradle.  "And I do believe I would understand what you are speaking about for a myriad of reasons. Now, Mr. Ground Zero has a meeting in two minutes on the bottom floor, so he's bound to leave his office anyway,"

Ms. Uravity gave me an uninterested look.

"I'll just come back after his meeting," she deadpanned.

"He's going to end up leaving after his meeting. So if you could please leave before I have to have security escort you out, that'd be great. Mr. Ground Zero is on a tight schedule,"

As I said this, Mr. Ground Zero left the room with the files, going toward the elevator and closing the doors as soon as he got in.

"If you'd like, I can look for yet another time for you to meet with him face to face. You can also email him or call him. Just know, I will be the person getting the emails and I will know who is on the phone if you were to call," I said as the pager on my desk vibrated.

Looking down at it, it was a message from Mr. Ground Zero.

Thank you, Kirishima

I looked back up at Ms. Uravity with a small smile.

"Now, is there anything I can do for you? Or will that be all?"

"Just, could you find a time for me to speak to him? Privately?" Ms. Uravity scoffed.

"Of course," I said, looking at a copy of his schedule.

It was fairly full, which is good for him, but I need to actually find an available time in case actually he wants to speak to her.

"Well, it seems he's on patrol tomorrow and Friday... does Thursday at 15:20 work for you? You'd only have a maximum of ten minutes to speak with him, but that seems to be his only free time for the rest of the week,"

"Sure, whatever," she sighed.

"Great! I will see whether or not that is a possibility for him. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, if you could provide me your email or your agency's email, that'd be fantastic,"

"It should be somewhere in your system, since this has happened with his old secretary," Ms. Uravity mumbled.

"Let me take a look. If not, I will have Mr. Ground Zero speak to you himself. Anything else?"

"That's it,"

"Fantastic. Have a pleasant rest of your day, Ms. Uravity,"

Ms. Uravity walked into the elevator and as soon as the doors closed I dropped the fake smile and groaned.

"Jesus fucking christ, she doesn't want to take no, now does she?" I muttered, paging Mr. Ground Zero.

She is in the elevator as we speak. Wait another minute, and you'll be god to come back up to your office.

I went back to my monitors, scrolling through all the emails, and finding Ms. Uravity's email.

Just as a minute was about to pass since she left, the elevator opened and Mr. Ground Zero walked in, much more relaxed.

"Thank you so much, Kirishima," he said as I gave him a small nod.

"Not a problem," I said, putting my hand out so he could put the files into my hand.

He placed them down, alongside a new file.

"What's in the new file?" I asked, opening it and taking a look.

(A/N: So, ya girl apparently just made another character??? Okay???)

"Oh, I feel bad for the hero and civilians hit by this girl's Quirk," I muttered, straightening the files and placing them in my desk.

Those'll be stored later.

"Yeah, must be terrible," Mr. Ground Zero muttered sarcastically.

I look at him to see his face still flushed bright red as he scowled and looked away from me.

"Sir, are you alright?!" I asked, standing up and getting out from behind my desk.

"I'm fine, Kirishima," he said shaking his head.

"Can I get you anything? Water? Something to eat? Are you malnourished in anyway?"

"A water would be great. Thank you, Kirishima," Mr. Ground Zero sighed.

"Of course," I said, paging one of the office workers to bring up a glass. "Is that why you didn't want to speak to Ms. Uravity?"

"That's more why she wanted to talk to me," Mr. Ground Zero sighed shakily. "Wanted to give me some pills or some shit to suppress the urges or whatever,"

"Well, why wouldn't you take them?" I asked as the elevator opened.

"Here you go, Mr. Ground Zero," one of the workers said, getting a nod from him.

Once the elevator shut, he spoke again. "I figured maybe it'd give me the balls to say something, but I guess not,"

"Wait," I paused, his words registering in my head. "You, Mr. Ground Zero himself, don't have the balls to say you like someone? So you're willing to let a Quirk do the work for you?"

"Shut up! I know, it's flawed logic, but I figured it'd... I don't know, make my head a bit more foggy with confidence or some shit like that, but no," Mr. Ground Zero mumbled before taking a sip of water.

"Oh," was all I could say.

"But, since I'm saying all this shit to you, might as well bring up something else,"

I looked at him, and saw him staring right back at me.

I gulped in fear, awaiting what he had to say.

"Wanna get a coffee sometime?"

...

"Uhm, pardon?"

"You, me, coffee?"

"I... uh..." I stumbled over my words, unsure of what to say. "I c-can, uhm... check your schedule? S-see when y--"

"I don't care if I miss a meeting or not," Mr. Ground Zero said, putting his hands on my desk. "I wanna bring you on a date, Eijirou,"

... WHAT DO I DO?!

"Uh... sure. Why not?"

"Fantastic. When you finish up your work, knock on my office door, okay?" Mr. Ground Zero said, pressing a kiss to my cheek.

He began to walk off before turning to me.

"Oh, and one more thing, Eijirou?"

"Yes, Mr. Ground Zero?"

"Cut that shit. You can call me Katsuki, at least alone,"

"Yes, Katsuki,"
