"Kacchan!"

"What, Deku?" Katsuki snarled at the servant who entered his room.

"The ball is beginning soon, Kacchan. Ochaco and I need to get you ready!" Izuku said sweetly.

"I'm not gonna fucking go,"

"Kacchan, you have to!" the brunette walked in, quickly landing a smack on the back of Prince Katsuki's head.

"Why? It's not like I actually want to see any of the fucking bachelors or bachelorettes my hag invited," Katsuki scoffed.

"You must! It's for the kingdom!"

"You both know damn well I don't give a fuck about parties, even if they're for my kingdom,"

Katsuki had always been so damn stubborn. There was no way to get around it. Stubborn since the damn day he was born. But there was also no way to get around this ball. His mother and father had insisted he found a spouse before he reached the age of 20.

He was creeping up on 25 years old next month.

So he was forced into this ball as his parents couldn't continue to the rule the kingdom much longer. Their age was beginning to catch up to them, even if it didn't noticeably show.

So, Katsuki was to be married. Preferably to a prince or princess. But, Mitsuki knew that if by some off chance he found some sort of stable hand to love, Katsuki would never let them go.

As Katsuki tried to pry Ochaco and Izuku away from him, down below, a new servant was being walked around the castle. His black hair was tied neatly into a short braid, his scarlet eyes darting around.

His previous master had been killed, but when he was found wandering by the castle by Taishiro, a butler, he had decided to take the kid, Eijirou, in.

Taishiro finished up the tour of the castle, stating how there was to be a ball. The servants were allowed to attend and only some would have to be doing work. Taishiro's other adoptee, Tamaki, was one who decided to do some of the work that night.

There were servants from all over, flooding into the area for this ball, lords and ladies from every place coming to dance on the very floor Eijirou stood on. It shook him to his very core.

"Uhm, may I work tonight as well?" he whispered shyly.

"Of course! Tamaki can find you a job to do for tonight," Taishiro said, patting Eijirou's back.

The two were soon greeted by guards and a few other servants.

"Ah! Tamaki, right on time!"

A purple haired boy glanced up from the floor and gave a small wave before walking over, finding interest in the patterned tile below.

"Do you think there is a job for Eijirou to do tonight?"

"How..." Tamaki paused, taking a deep breath in, then releasing it as a sigh. "How experienced are you with alcohol? And mixing?"

"Uh... pardon me?"

"Can you mix alcoholic drinks?"

Eijirou thought for a moment and shrugged. "I've never done it before. If you could have someone teach me for a moment, I'll be sure to catch on. It can't be that hard, right?"

Tamaki gave a weak nod. "Okay. We can have Tetsutetsu come teach you,"

The ball approached almost too quickly for both Eijirou and Katsuki. Though Katsuki was very happy about that, hoping it'd be over just as fast as it started.

Eijirou was anxious as hell. Tetsutetsu was a very sweet guy and a very good teacher, so he wasn't worried about not being capable of mixing drinks for people. He was much more worried about the fact that this job included social interaction.

Eijirou heard trumpets and other horns blaring out of the castle as lords and ladies swept into the ballroom, a light chatter floating amongst them all. He wiped his sweaty palms on his apron, hoping he wouldn't accidentally shatter a glass.

Eijirou wondered when he'd end up meeting the prince. He had the pleasure of meeting the king and queen, both who were very sweet to him. But the prince was absolutely nowhere to be seen, though Eijirou had only been in the castle for a few days.

More and more people swamped the floor as other servants came around. A blond man with blue eyes and a kind smile had introduced himself as Mirio, and asked for a bottle of champagne and a few glasses.

Eijirou let out a puff of relief, smiling happily at the kind blond as he handed him what he needed.

As Mirio walked off, a man dressed in gorgeous, expensive looking cloth came over. His head was near bald and he kept a cigar between his lips, yet he had a kind face.

"Do you possibly have any wine?"

Eijirou gulped, but gave a grin back. "I can check, if you'd like. You know how the wine industry is doing nowadays,"

The man gave a solemn nod. "A damn shame. Though, do keep a bottle of red wine around. We all know how the prince loves his vin chaud, right?"

Eijirou tucked that into the back of his mind. Vin chaud. What the hell is vin chaud?!

"Here, Eijirou, why don't you go take a look for that wine down in the cellar. I'll assist others while you look, okay?" Tetsutetsu came up behind Eijirou, patting his shoulder softly.

With a fast nod, Eijirou exited the bar area, going through the halls of the castle and quickly getting lost.

"Fuck," he whispered.

As Eijirou was wandering through the castle, he could hear more horns blaring, though they sounded as though they were only a room over.

A muffled voice spoke, Eijirou only able to pick up a few words.

"Are you lost?" a clearer voice said from behind him.

Eijirou turned around to see a green haired boy looking at him.

"Ah, I'm very sorry!" Eijirou said, bowing quickly. "I was told to look in the cellar for more wine, but I've only been here a few days,"

The green haired boy laughed. "Is that so? Come along, then! I can bring you down to the cellar!"

"Thank you. My apologies for any inconvenience I may have brought you," Eijirou mumbled.

"It's alright! I'm Izuku Midoriya,"

"Eijirou Kirishima,"

"Oh, that's who you are! I've heard of you from Taishiro! He's spoken quite highly of you! And why are you dressed that way if you are behind the bar? Have you not had your measurements taken by Itsuka?"

"Uhm... who?"

Izuku shook his head. "Oh dear. I do believe she is assisting Ochaco at the moment, so we could have her take your measurements and find an adequate outfit for tonight. We'll head to Ochaco's room and get Itsuka to assist you. We can head to the cellar afterwards,"

Eijirou didn't know what to say. It's not as though his last master was unkind, but he had never been shown this much care. His only clothes were quite worn, with holes dotting the collar and hem from Eijirou nervously plucking at his clothing.

"Are you the prince?" Eijirou asked.

That made Izuku laugh.

"No, I'm not Kacchan," he said after a moment, a grin still on his face and in his voice. "However, I am one of his closest servants,"

Eijirou's eyes widened and jaw dropped. "So you are close with the prince? That sounds absolutely amazing!"

"Well," Izuku sighed. "He's a bit... much, at times. But yes, it's quite great,"

Eijirou grinned.

"Well, here we are," Izuku said before knocking in an odd pattern.

"Come in!"

Izuku slowly opened the door and gave a massive grin. "Ochaco, you look gorgeous!"

"Oh, stop!" a sweet feminine voice led Eijirou's eyes to a very pretty brunette in a gorgeous pink dress. The tight fit sleeves and puffy outerskirts were a contrast that fit very well on Ochaco's body type. Her hair was up in a neat bun as a collar was quickly attached to the dress.

"There you are, Izuku!" a ginger girl glared at Izuku, pins in her mouth. "I've been looking all over for you! I need to fit you into-"

"Not so fast, Itsuka," Izuku said calmly. "I found that new servant, and he needs to be fitted,"

The ginger haired girl's eyes landed on Eijirou, and she smiled. "Oh! It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance. I'm Itsuka Kendou. I'm one of the few tailors in the castle,"

"Eijirou Kirishima," is all Eijirou said before bowing.

"Now, Eijirou, I'm going to have Ochaco and Izuku leave so I can get you properly fitted for an outfit for tonight. This will involve you removing your clothing,"

"Wait, but what about the wine?" Eijirou asked, turning to Izuku.

"I will grab the wine and fill in Tetsutetsu of your situation. I will come back up, and I hope to find him in something modest and normal. Okay, Itsuka?" Izuku said, his sweet tone going firm as he gave a small, meaningless glare at Itsuka.

"Go get the necessary wine," Itsuka said, waving her hands and shutting the door. "Let's begin, shall we?"

Katsuki was already on the dance floor, doing his best to avoid other people. So he stayed as far away as possible from others, opting to hug the wall. His eyes swam along the crowd, darting away as fast they could whenever they caught on someone else's gaze.

Katsuki did, however, find Izuku handing Tetsutetsu a bottle of wine, and beginning to run off.

To say that Katsuki's interest had been piqued would be an understatement.

Very carefully, Katsuki made his way out of the ballroom, quietly trailing behind the green haired boy who began hiking his way up one of the towers.

Katsuki's footsteps matched Izuku's, seeming only to amplify the noise of his foot fall. How convenient!

Izuku ended up in front of Ochaco's door, knocking. "May I come in?"

It was strange to see Izuku asking to enter Ochaco's room when she had already entered the ballroom.

"She's gone,"

Izuku almost jumped out of his skin, whirling to see the prince.

"Kacchan, what are you doing here?!"

"I got fucking curious, dipshit," he scoffed.

Izuku sighed. "Listen, we had a new servant come in a few days ago, and he was working the bar with Tetsutetsu. He was dressed in rags, so we have Itsuka helping him get his measurements. Please, don't scare him,"

Izuku knocked rhythmically on the door yet again, and a feminine "Come in!" came through the door.

Izuku opened the door, Katsuki peeking in.

"Hi, Zu, I'm almost done with his measureme-" Itsuka paused before bowing down. "Your highness, how is the ball?"

Those words were completely muddled in Katsuki's ears as he stared at the new servant. His black hair fell down to his shoulder blades, scars wrapping around his honey skin, a pair of crimson eyes matching his own. A cute scar sat above his right eye, and a nervous grin was placed on his face.

"A pleasure to finally meet you, your highness," Eijirou said, giving a stiff bow before a sharp stab met his thigh.

"Quit the bowing bullshit, you're fine," Katsuki muttered with a brightening face. "And with the your highness crap. Just call me Katsuki, got it?"

Eijirou gave a nod.

Katsuki hated how rapid his heart pounded in his chest, feeling as though ribcage were about to be destroyed.

"Will you be coming back down for the ball?" Katsuki asked.

"Yes, I will,"

Katsuki turned. "Make sure you save me a dance and a drink,"

With a smirk, he left.

And with that smirk, Eijirou felt his soul leave his body.

"Wow," Itsuka mumbled. "Never seen anything like that from him before,"

"That's certainly a first," Izuku mumbled.

Eijirou was not going to live through tonight.
