Unknown Dimension, Uzume's Base

They finally made it to Uzume's base where it's basically her secret hideout. As Neptune and Nepgear healed the two creatures and putting them in bed for them to rest, Uzume said.

Uzume: Here we are. This is my base.

Uzume: Although, I guess it's more of abandoned building than a base, but, it's better than being out in the open.

Neptune: Oooooh! Using a dingy, old building like this as your secret base is so freakin' cool! 

Nepgear: Yeah! And you have everything you need here: a safe place to sleep, food, recovery, items, and even a communication terminal!

Nepgear: It's just like a rebel hideout from an anime!

Uzume: What?! You guys actually understand how wicked cool this base is?!

Nepgear: Yes, of course!

Uzume: Okay, I see now. If you two get how cool this place is, then, you can't be all that bad!

Uzume: By the way, have you two put them in bed?

Neptune: Yep, we sure did.

Neptune then show her to the two creatures knowing that they are in bed as Neptune then closes the door.

Uzume: Well, that's good to know. Although, I still don't know who they are and where they came from.

Neptune: Yeah, us too.

Then, Uzume decided to change the subject and said.

(BGM: Emergency - Mega Dimension Neptunia VII)

Uzume: But anyway, we don't have that much time, so I'll give you a quick rundown of our enemy.

Uzume: Like I said before, that giant thing's the main culprit behind all the destruction you've seen.

Uzume: But its size isn't the only thing you should worried about. That monster also holds the power to erase life forms out of their existence.

Uzume: It's the reason why all humans who lived in this nation are no longer here with us.

Neptune: Whaaaaaaaat?! They're all just... gone...?

Nepgear: I-I see... that's why our share energy was... 

Neptune: I don't wanna believe it. How does that even make sense? Did they all really disappear because of that big giant thing?!

Uzume: It's hard to say. I don't know much about everything that's happened myself.

Uzume: After the humans left-- that's so weird to say-- lots of intelligent creatures moved into the area. They're very kind, and some are even able to talk. 

Uzume: So, our objective in this current mission is to buy enough time for all of them to safely evacuate the city.

Neptune: Oooh... so those are the "others" you were talking about before... I have a question though. Aren't any of the monsters fit to be your allies?

Uzume: Unfortunately, we're the only ones who can fight.

Neptune: Yikes! It's amazing you've been able to fight all by yourself all the time.

Uzume: Yeah, I'm amazed that I still kicking. We're always being chased by that thing... It feels like all we know how to do anymore is run for our lives.

Uzume: I'm terrified when I wake to the sounds of its footsteps shaking the ground. What's wrose is that we're running out of places to escape to...

Nepgear: Uzume, do you think there's any way to defeat this giant for good and lay all of this to rest? 

Neptune: That's right! We can just destroy it! You won't have to keep running, anymore! This would all go away if we just do that, right...?

Uzume: Hey, come on, don't you think I've tried? I've scuffled with that thing so many times, and have never even came close to injuring it...

Nepgear: No way...

Neptune and Nepgear had a worry face expression knowing that the giant can't get injured at all. But Uzume then said.

Uzume: Don't make that face. Even if it's impossible now, I've been coming up with a plan to defeat it. It's just not ready yet. 

Uzume: Aright, so we don't have a lot of time before–

(BGM Ended)

Then, Uzume was interrupted by someone yawning. Neptune, Nepgear, and Uzume soon realize that the two creatures are already waking up. Nepgear then peaks at the door and whispering to them saying. 

Nepgear (whispering): It looks like their waking up.

They soon open the door seeing the two creatures got up and once they got up, the two creatures looked around and spotted them. As they were staring at each other face to face in silence, Neptune then broke the silence and said with a cheerful expression.

Neptune: Hey there little guys, feeling any better now.

The pink creature then smiled at her and said.

???: Poyo, poyo!

While the orange creature nodded at her knowing that he's feeling better too while taking his spear back.

Nepgear: D-Did the pink one just say poyo?

Uzume: It seems like it. Is it some kind of language or something?

The orange creature then started to write something to them and showed it which Nepgear reads.

Nepgear: Who are you people?

(BGM: Have a Nice Talk DX - Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey)

Neptune: oh, that's right! We haven't introduce ourselves yet.

Neptune: My name is Neptune, the protagonist of the protagonist. 

Nepgear: My name is Nepgear, and I'm her younger sister. 

Uzume: And my name is Uzume Tennouboshi.

The orange creature soon erased what he wrote and started writing something else. As he was still writing, the pink creature said.

???: Nep-tune, Nep-gear, U-zu-me Tenn-ou-bo-shi.

Then, they were shocked at the pink creature saying their names like a baby saying his first words. And so, Neptune, Nepgear, and Uzume were smiling at the pink creature saying.

Neptune: Eeeek! He's soooo cute!

Nepgear: Yeah, it's like a baby saying his first words!

Uzume (Daydream): Such an adorable little guy! I could just hug him and cuddle him all day!

N/N: 0_0

Uzume then realize that she was on Daydream mode and snaps out of it.

Uzume: Ahem, sorry about that.

Neptune: I'm just gonna forget that just happened.

Once the orange creature was finish, he showed it to them and Nepgear then reads.

Nepgear: Nice to meet you. My name is Bandana Dee and the pink puffball's name is Kirby.  

Nepgear: Huh...? what a cute name you both have.

Neptune: Well Kirby and Bandana Dee. It's nice to meet you too.

(BGM Ended)

Uzume then gets a communication call which she then answer and said.

Uzume: Yeah, it's me. What's the status on the evacuation?

???: Uzume, I am relieved to hear your voice. We're roughly 70% complete with evacuation.

Uzume: Still a lot left, huh...?

???: I apologize, we are moving as fast as we can.

Uzume: Don't sweat it. Just make sure everyone gets outta there safely.

???: Understood. Be careful out there, Uzume.

She soon ended the communication call.

Neptune: Hey, who's thaaat? He sounds handsome. Is he a friend? 

Uzume: Yeah, he is. We caught him on a good day, though. He can get a little cranky sometimes.

Uzume: We'd better get going soon, though. So make sure you don't leave anything behind... We won't be coming back here.

Nepgear: But wait, what about Kirby and Bandana Dee. They obviously have no idea where to go.

Kirby and Bandana Dee nodded knowing that's true since they have no idea where to go. 

Neptune: I know. Which is why their coming with us. 

Kirby and Bandana Dee nodded the idea that Neptune brought up. Then, Bandana Dee started writing something else to them and showed it which Nepgear then reads.

Nepgear: That's a great idea Neptune. I mean, you girls save our lives earlier from those freaks. So we decided to return a favor is by helping you girls out, because that is what we do best.

Neptune: You really mean it.

Kirby: Poyo.

Bandana Dee nodded at her with determination knowing that he means it.

Neptune: Aww. Thanks Kirby and Bandana Dee.

said Neptune as she patted both of their heads while smiling at each other.

Uzume: Well if that's the case, then welcome aboard you two.

They soon shake hands with Uzume, hoping that they'll try their best to help them out.

Uzume: Alright then, we should probably get going since we don't have that much time. So let's go. 

N/N: Right!

Kirby: Poyo!

And with that, Neptune, Kirby, Nepgear, Bandana Dee, and Uzume were now heading back to city. Hoping to take out more monsters before the giant comes into play.

After five minutes have passed, they were now close to city in order to take out more monsters. As they were about to enter the city, Kirby then stops follow by Neptune, Nepgear, Bandana Dee, and Uzume knowing that Kirby heard something.

Neptune: What's wrong Kirby. Did you hear something?

Kirby then nods saying yes, he had heard something. Then, a figure came out of the bush wearing a Blue, floppy cap with a white rim and pompom on the end. And his name is Poppy Bros Jr., one of Kirby's common enemies who was now holding a bomb in his hands.

N/N/U: Woah!

Neptune: Who is that little guy.

Bandana Dee then started to write something to them and showed it which Nepgear reads.

Nepgear: That my friend is Poppy Bros Jr., one of Kirby's most common enemies.

Uzume: Well I guess that make sense, because this cute enemy doesn't look too friendly.

They soon see Kirby panicking, knowing that Poppy Bros Jr is ready to attack. But suddenly, a pink heart showed up above Kirby. Knowing that he can now summon Friend Hearts against his enemies.

Then, Kirby throws the Friend Heart at Poppy Bros Jr., which he now became from an enemy to a friend. And Poppy Bros Jr. is now wearing a Blue party hat akin to a party popper with yellow, green, and pink explosion motifs on it, a red ribbon on the top, a large white cuff, and a blue, diamond-shaped gem with a large yellow rim on the front.

Soon, Poppy Bros Jr. ran into Kirby by nuzzling his cheeks knowing that he likes Kirby. The girls then aww at the cute scene as Kirby and Poppy Bros Jr. high five and continued onward to the city.

(A/N Pretend that Kirby doesn't have the Sword ability)

Neptune: Wow! How did Kirby do that.

Uzume: Well, from the looks of it. He must of use that heart on Poppy Bros Jr. that made him turn good.

Nepgear: I guess that make sense.

Bandana Dee nods at Nepgear in agreement with her statement.

Uzume: I guess things will be a lot easier with Kirby and Bandana Dee around at our side won't we.

Neptune: Yep! Although, I still can't get enough of Kirby's cuteness.

Nepgear: Yeah, me too!

Uzume: Same. But, we need to focused since we can't get distracted right now. So let's move.

N/N: Right!

And so, they entered the city hoping that Uzume has a plan to take down the monsters and the giant for good. And with Poppy Bros Jr. on their side, their ready to fight and win.
