Chapter 1: Meet Kira
The sun shines over the small bakers village and crop's as people harvested and baked. There was a light breeze and a sweet tune of whistling as the wheat danced in the wind, the golden glow shined off the wheat as it swayed. It was peaceful, quiet and-
"Wahoo!"
Ugh... Never mind.
"Yeah!" A girl about twelve jumped through the field's, danced and played as she whistled and sang with her Tofu, Shu. The two Twirled as they sang beautiful melodies. People knew this young girl as Kira.
Her blond reddish hair lightly glowed from the bright shine of the sun, her copper eye's twinkled and sparkled in the most adorable way. Her laughter would put a smile on anyone's face.
Her silly Tofu hat bounced along with her dress as she jumped around the field's. Her singing was beautiful, even the town's folk would lean out of their window's just to hear her hum.
She was twirling with joy till her father called for her.
"Kira, its getting buisy in the bakery." He leaned out of his window almost falling over, his apron dangling and dancing with the wind under him, he held his chef's hat so it wouldn't blow away and he held four plates of bread all spread up his arm.
Kira giggled at the sight and quickly nodded. "C'mon Shu, we should go help before he gets his hands full." Kira skipped along as Shu tucked herself on top of Kira's hat.
Kira entered the buisy bakery, swarming with people. She dodged them at every step and every turn and made her way to the kitchen.
"Papa! Papa? Are you in here?" She looked around till she heard multiple big clangs! Come from the kitchen. She followed the sound and ended up standing right beside her father, laying on the flour covered with pan's and pot's.
She grabbed her father's wrist and pulled him up with a light tug. It's not that he was light, it was that Kira was as strong as a bull, don't get fooled by her little appearance.
All of the pots and pans fell off if him with multiple clangs! Once more. He had all but one left, sitting on his head. Kira took it off and placed it on the counter as she led her father out of the kitchen and into the public dining room, she handed him a little note book and pencil.
"You do the easy job, take orders." She points to the multiple customers sitting at the wooden tables all around them. "While I take the hard job, cooking. Okay?" She didn't wait for an answer. She just lightly pushed her father into the crowd as she made her way into the kitchen once more.
Minutes later she had bun's, bread, noodle's, lazania's and cake's ready to be served. She slid out of the room with the lazania's piled in one hand and noodle's piled in the other. She had bread and bun's all stacked on her head and she aimed for the table's.
Shu slowly flew in with a cake balancing on her head.
"Nobody move!" She threw the lazania's to multiple tables as she did with the noodle's, bread and bun's. It all landed right infront of all the customers perfectly as so did the utensil's and drink's. Everyone cheered.
"Thank you, thank you. But that's not all, and now... For my great finally." Shu placed the cake in her hands and fell to the floor in exhaustion as Kira aimed.
She quickly jumped off the roof and threw the cake at the drink counter. The cake landed perfectly beside it's owner.
Kira landed perfectly on the ground. "Ta-da!" She bowed as the others applauded for her. "Thank you, thank you. Your too kind." Then she turned over to her smiling father. He put his thumb's up for her. She smiled and jumped into his arm's to give him a hug.
"I was taught by the best." She said once she let go.
Hours later, near late afternoon most of the customers left, leaving the bakery quite quiet. Kira glanced over at her father and he nodded in agreement.
"You may."
Kira gave him a big smile befor leaving to the field's once more. Shu slowly and lazily got up and followed her.
Kira passed the small house's, windmill's and bakery's as she made it to the field. She waved to her fellow friend's and neighbor's she passed as she walked by.
She started skipping once Shu sped up and planted herself on top of Kira's hat once more. Kira giggled and continued on.
She finally made it to the field after minutes of skipping and twirling, which, should I mention she enjoyed. She danced through the golden wheat as it tickled her leg's as it lightly rubbed against her skin.
She slowed down her pace and started to walk as she lightly lifted her hand 's and pet the crop's as she walked by. She sighed and looked up to the peaceful Shu. Kira started to hum a peaceful tune as she walked around the golden fields. This was her favorite place in the entire World Of Twelve, yet again, she didn't travel.
She continued to hum as Shu slowly drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
Kira walked along the wheat and swayed along with it until she felt an unfamiliar bolt of energy hit her. She looked around frantically swinging her head from side to side waking up pour Shu in the process. Kira found nothing injured, yet the energy didn't hurt, it actually freshened her up. Shu felt something as well as she was wide awake and fresh as a daisy. Kira glanced over at her.
"You felt it too?" She asked, hopeing she wasn't crazy.
The little Tofu squeeked in agreement. Then Kira heard voice's coming from the forest, not too far from the two. Kira quickly ducked and hid in the wheat and pulled Shu down with her.
The golden color of the wheat slightly blended in with her hat, conseeling her as she listened to the voices. She heard the word's 'complaining', 'kama', 'sword', 'map', 'vacation', 'shushu', 'Adamai', 'Eliatrope', 'cra', 'Dally', 'Iop-brain' and 'Yugo'. Just not in that specific order.
She thought to herself and a big smile crawled up her face.
"Visitor's." She whispered to Shu. "Should we surprise them?"
Shu lightly chirped in agreement. Kira nodded with a smile.
"Her we go..."
