"Hey, baby." I could feel both Touya and Keigo shaking me gently.
"Hm?" I blink awake, my eyes adjusting to my surroundings. Both Keigo and Touya was hovering over me, worry and concern in their eyes.
"What?" I ask confused.
"You were having another dream." Touya says quietly, avoiding my gaze as he exhales.
For the past few weeks, I've been having these intense nightmares that something fatal would happen to the both of them. And for the past two weeks, Keigo would feel my heart rate quickening, Touya would hear me calling their names, both of them jumping out of their own peaceful slumber, waking me and assuring me that they were okay.
"I'm sorry." I sigh as I sit up, looking between the both of him.
"Don't you dare apologize, Kid." Keigo says firmly, his forehead pressing against my own. I nod slowly as he kisses my forehead. Touya's soothing me by scratching at my scalp. They both lay me back down, kissing my temples and wrapping their arms around me.
"It was just a dream." Touya kisses my temple.
"We're alright, Lovebird." Keigo coos. "We're safe. You're safe. We're okay."
I nod, feeling the warmth of their bodies against mine. My eyes slowly closing, letting their voices carry me back to sleep.
*Hawks and Dabi*
Touya brushes loose strands of your hair from your face. He was turned on his side, propped on his elbow with his head in his hand. He exhales deeply.
Keigo on your left, same position as Touya, lightly tracing patterns into your shoulder while you soundly slept. He was moreso worried about the both of you. Touya blamed himself for your spurt of nightmares that's been happening, the memories of him dying resurfacing but this time, Keigo joined him. He felt awful. And everytime he thought about it, Keigo was there to drag him out of his thoughts, assure him that it wasn't his fault and continued to comfort the both of you. Just like he loved Touya, he was slowly starting to fall for you too. When you loved someone, you loved with every part of you, and he couldn't help but appreciate that.
A few days after Touya had confessed to you, Shoto came to visit you, bringing you a scarf his mother knitted just for you. Keigo was there, and so was Touya– who hid in the bedroom, listening to the three of you talking. Keigo watched you interact with Shoto, brushing his hair back, lightly tracing the scar over his eye and telling him how much you loved him. He was your little brother and no one could tell you that he wasn't. Although Shoto was uncertain how to accept the affection, he loved recieving it from you; simply because of how close you were with Touya. Part of Shoto felt Touya still lived within you, and every time you touched him, he felt his brother too. He'd let you hug him and shower him with the affection that his father never allowed his mother to give any of their children. Shoto loved you just as much as you loved him. You were his sister–the only thing he had left of Touya.
"Don't." Keigo's voice was cracking, swallowing as he looked over at Dabi, who he know was wallowing in his head again. He watched the raven haired man's eyes scan over your body, watching you sleep, waiting to hear you call out for them, just for them to wake you once again. "Touya, she's fine."
"It's my fault." He mumbles, his eyes turning downward. He exhales once more, falling over on his back, his black coils spouting over the pillow, a hand flopping on his stomach. Keigo pulled himself up, resting an arm on his knee, his feathers littered the bedroom as they always did so he'd be able to sleep comfortably on his back. His blonde hair falling forward and brushing against his face as he looks at his first love.
"It isn't your fault, Tou." He whispers. Touya's head turns, his eyes landing out the window that lead to the double doors that lead to your balcony. Again, he exhales deeply. "Hey.." Keigo calls to him softly. He watch Touya blink before his head slowly turns towards him, looking up at him. They both pause for a moment, seeing you shift in your sleep, turning over and facing Keigo. His eyes turn down to you, his lips forming a small smile before they lifted to Touya.
"Stop beating yourself up." He tells him, reaching over you to put his hands in Touya's soft hair. He scratches his scalp as they always did you, in an attempt to comfort, assure and soothe him. "She's okay–we're okay. This will pass."
"You have nothing to worry about, Keigo." Touya finally speaks, his voice also cracking from his mouth being dry. He pushes himself up, sitting up in the bed. Pulling his legs to his chest he lets out another sigh, his eyes staring at the darkness of the room. He tucks his bottom lip into his mouth, blinking as if he wanted to cry, but knowing he couldn't. His head drops and he shakes his head, his own hands shooting into his hair and tugging lightly. "I shouldn't have even tried to find her."
"No, you should've." Keigo frowns, moving from his spot, careful not to wake you. He sits in front of Touya, pulling his hands from his hair, lacing their fingers together. "You were driving yourself insane wondering if she was okay. We found her together– we're here with her together. We love her together. We will protect her together." He reached a hand up, cupping Touya's cheek, his thumb brushing against his scars, looking at his boyfriend ever so lovingly. "We're in this together, Touya. I know you're hurting. But this isn't your fault. If either of us were to get hurt, these same nightmares would arrive. She's fine. She knows we're here. She knows we're safe. She knows who you are, Touya.. That's all that matters, yeah?"
Touya blinks constantly, as if he were fighting tears from falling. His eyes reading Keigo's lips as he spoke, something Keigo knew he did when he was processing everything said to the very letter. Keigo purses his lips into a smile, his arms wrapping around Touya and pulling him in closer, Touya allowing his head to fall on Keigo's shoulder. Turning his face into Keigo's neck, inhaling Keigo's natural scent. Keigo smiles a little, feeling Touya relax. He felt Touya's hand slip around his own waist, his hands gripping his shoulders tightly.
"We're both here with you Touya." Keigo coos, kissing Touya's shoulder. "It's gonna be okay. We're gonna get through this."
"T-Touya...Keigo.." You mumble in your sleep. They both pull away from one another, quickly turning to you. You had waken up, feeling the cold spot where Keigo would've been laying. You'd pushed yourself up on your hands, using one to rub your eyes, noticing the spot was empty you hadn't realized you were scaring yourself, thinking of the worst– that neither of them were there.
"I'm here baby." Keigo's voice always seemed to soothe you, no matter what he was saying. You look over your shoulder, seeing Touya between Keigo's legs. You sit up further, the blankets falling off your top half as you turn to them, worry on your face.
"What's wrong?" You asked, Touya pursed his lips together, reaching out for you. Of course you didn't hesitate to crawl into his arms. Keigo scooted back a bit, making room for you, placing you in between both him and Touya. Your legs wrap around Keigo's torso as he scoots back in closer, Touya's arms wrapping around your waist, his face stuffed in the crook of your neck, Keigo doing the exact same, sandwhiching you in.
"Is anyone gonna talk to me?" You'd ask, not knowing what was going on, and still half sleep.
"Your nightmares." Touya was first, his words muffled against your skin. "I-It's my fault, isn't it?"
"Baby, tell him it isn't so we can go back to sleep." Keigo mumbles against your skin as you feel Touya grip you tighter.
"Touya.." You shake your head, Keigo moving from your neck and leaning back on his hands. "Touya, look at me."
Touya exhales, his warm breath tickling your neck as he reluctantly does what you want. His blue eyes almost glowing in the dark.
"Is that what you think?" You blink, craning your neck to look back at him.
"You weren't having them untill I told you everything." He mumbles, avoiding your gaze.
"Touya no." You shake your head, placing a kiss on his lips. "It's not your fault. You've always been the one to take the blame of everything. Even as kids." You shifted, Touya's arms slumping from your waist, you crawled behind him forcing him in the middle of you and Keigo. You pushed him closer to Keigo who welcomed him with open arms. The both of you sandwhiching him in. You lean up, kissing the back of his neck.
"I'm okay." You whisper, watching his head fall on Keigo's shoulder once more. "I'm fine. We're okay. I'm just–worried about the two of you."
"I don't want you to worry about us." Touya croaks out. "I-I don't want to stress you."
"Well that's too damned bad, Todoroki." You frown. "You should know that."
"Yeah Bruised Criminal," Keigo co-signs. "You should know that."
"Shut up." Touya grits.
"I love you, Touya." You whisper. "Wanna smoke and go to sleep?"
"I love you, Y/N." He answers with a nod. Keigo smiles and reached out to you taking your hand in his, lacing your fingers together.
'I love you.' He mouthed out. You were absolutely perfect to him. Touya was right, he'd love you just as much as he would.
'I love you too' You mouthed the words back, moving from the both of them to get what you needed to get.
After smoking, you were sleeping once more, feeling Keigo's hands comb through your hair, and Touya drawing patterns lightly against your hip. You were content, at peace. Touya slumped down in the bed, pulling the covers over him, his head resting in your back. Your head was on Keigo's arm, your face in his neck. He never felt so in love with two beings. Two sensitive beings at that. Touya was much more sensitive than you were, but he masked it well untill he couldn't anymore. Where as you–well you'd call it out right then and there. He loved you. He loved Touya. The both of you together made him feel so much love and compassion it made his head spin. His two big babies.
He smiled, kissing the top of your head his free hand gliding up and down Touya's hand lightly, letting the soft snores of his two loves lull him to sleep.
