Hello everyone, this is your author N! I was hesitant in doing this, but I've been asked so many times now that I think it's about time I actually share this with you guys.

Everyone's been wondering about what the characters would look like. I don't usually give very detailed descriptions of what their physical attributes are, or even where they originally come from because ONE, it doesn't really affect the story in any way. And TWO, I want you guys to imagine them as to how you want to imagine them. This is a book where the characters are how you see them, which is why I give very few descriptions of them. 

This is why today I'm not really going to show you the people who really portray these characters, but the pictures are the vibe and style that I imagine them to have. I'm also not going to show everyone since there are just so many of them, so I'll choose a few ones for now.

NOTE that this should not really affect how you see them. If you imagine them in a different way then go ahead! I highly encourage that. That's why I'll also add descriptions about these characters so that it can help you imagine them better.

AGAIN (PLEASE READ THIS): THEIR FACES DON'T ENTIRELY LOOK LIKE THIS. This is the vibe and style that I imagine them to have, but they aren't an official cast or whatever you may call them. Don't be confused.

#1: Maximilian Leigh Sinclaire 

When I was writing Max, I imagined him as this attractive person with features that are a mixture of strong and soft, if that makes any sense. He had to look like a powerful heir, but at the same time when you see him you'd  look at him and say "he doesn't look as intimidating and powerful as others described him." That's what I wanted Max to be. He's this strong character, but his strength is seen in his actions and not in his physical attributes.

And of course, he HAS to have ocean blue eyes since it's the same color his mother has, which is why others say they look alike. (Pardon the eyes on this picture. I just edited it in for reference purposes). 

Max is also older than some of his friends by a year since he stopped studying to look for his mother's supposed killer. I don't remember if I've already mentioned that in the story, but there you go!

#2: Marcus Thompson

Marcus has a boy-next-door and the nice big brother vibe because that's what he is. He's much older than most of the characters here (21 y/o to be exact), but his attractiveness comes from his overprotectiveness towards his brother. He's also a character that always has a smile on his face, and is very well-liked by the white uniform.

I haven't really described his mother enough, but Marcus is similar to her, which is why Luna hated him even more.

#3: Aristotle Faulkner

And now we have Mr. Ari, or what the members of Jokers call him, princess Ariel. At first glance, Ari looks like trouble, which is why BND explained that even when he was only a serf, some of the students were already scared of him. But that's what makes him unique because he's actually very smart.

Another distinct feature about Ari is that he has unnatural red hair that he sloppily colored himself. Ari has naturally black hair, but when he enrolled in J.S High, he colored it red. As smart as he is, he knew that acting soft will only make him a target, so he went with the bad boy image.

And here's a fun fact; Ari almost didn't make it in the final cut! I already started writing the story and only added Ari at the last minute. Thankfully he made it!

#4: Felix Campbell

Here's a character that's the opposite of Ari's character. Felix Campbell, unlike Ari, looks very timid and shy, but in fact, he has an awful personality. He's also supposed to be very smart, but to keep his innocent facade, he purposely dumbs himself down. Of course, the most distinct feature about Felix is that he's small, which makes him even more amazing.

Felix is also an original character, and he's supposed to be the first student that Max was supposed to be friends with next to Ervin since he and Ervin were originally the Tom & Jerry in their group of friends, but I ended up adding Ari in the mix.

#5: Ervin Walker

Ervin is known as this fearsome Jack. He's an underling who followed Jokers even after they changed their ways. I remember that there was a chapter that explained that he wasn't an heir, which is why he has to act tough in order to survive school. That little scene showed Ervin's weakness despite his tough persona, which is why I really liked writing that chapter.

 Ervin also has a carefree attitude, but at the same time, his mouth doesn't know when to stop, which is why he and Ari end up clashing all the time. And as I mentioned before, he and Felix were the original characters who were supposed to act as the frenemies, but I think it fits better that he and Ari are the ones who would always argue. I just love their dynamic.

#6: Krist Hyunsen

I changed the inspiration for this character. It was supposed to be the Thai actor Krist, but I discovered a few controversial things he's done, and I don't want that to be associated with my book. Anyway, I'd rather think I got inspired by the character he portrayed, which is Arthit from SOTUS, which was the initial inspiration in the first place since I found Arthit angsty, and I really wanted to have a character like that too.

But of course, Krist here is still different. Krist is a fun-loving character who loves to prank people, but thanks to the cruel system of their school, Krist is forced to act tough for the sake of his Junior members. Krist still loves to play around, but despite that, he's a noble leader who waves Jokers' flag with great pride.

#7:  Thassapon Supachai AKA Brave

Brave is a loyal baron and friend to Krist. He will follow their leader with no hesitation and would do anything and everything for him. But other than that, Brave is the epitome of their brotherhood. He's cunning and very playful. You'd usually see him playing games on his phone, or stuffing his mouth with food, but when the going gets rough, Brave is as brave as his name, and he'll fight with his brotherhood till the very end.

#8: Viktor Alekovich Stepanov

Okay, here's one of my favorite characters, Viktor. Viktor is one of the very first characters that I've written next to Max. You can say that I aligned his personality and almost everything about him with Max himself. 

One thing that you have to remember about him is that he has experienced great trauma in the past. As I wrote Viktor, what I had in mind is that he's skinny, and his eyes always look tired. The reason behind this is that he has a hard time sleeping. That can explain why his personality is sometimes distorted or all over the place, which is why there are times where Viktor may seem unstable.

Another small fact about him is that he likes sweets, so there are times you'd notice him eating candies or drinking soda since that's what he eats all the time. He's very unhealthy. Anyway, there's still so much more about him, but Max is still too far from his grasp to even have a proper conversation with him so we'll see more of him in the future.

#9: Kim Hee-joon

Kim Hee-joon, also known as the Ice Prince, has little to no expressions on his face, and most of the time the prince looks bored to death. We don't really know much about him yet, so I'll leave a few details about him hidden. But one distinct feature about Hee-joon is his eyes. He has this specific stare that would just make you look away from him.

Another thing is that Hee-joon is always beside Viktor. If you haven't noticed, he's the one who keeps Viktor at bay, and like Viktor, there's so much about him that I'm also excited for you guys to know about in the future chapters.

#10 Ren Adachi

This is actually a character that I think you'll be shocked by. Ren is a member of PHD under the unit Pretty Duo. He's described to be pretty and even sexual, but as I was writing him, I've always seen him as someone who's flashy-looking. He has dark nail polish, and when he's not wearing their uniform, he'd wear something crazy and colorful, which is perfect for his personality.

Honestly, if he wasn't part of PHD, he'd be a perfect fit for Jokers. The only thing that's different about him is that he's intimidating, and he has this smirk that can just send chills down your spine.

#11: Ian Rothman

Ian, like Max and Viktor, is one of the first characters that I created. I  enjoyed writing him, and I very much still enjoy writing him whenever his scenes come up. He has this charming vibe, and what my sisters like to call it, he has a "politician smile." He looks like he has everything under control, and when you see him, people would go "ah, that's why he's the president." 

People fear him, but at the same time, they like him, which is why he's a very interesting character. Ian is also very respectful and sees potential in every student. Just...don't make him angry.

#12: Gavriil Ivanovich Alexeev

The vice president is described to be tall, has shoulder-length hair, and has a mole near his right eye. Gavriil is also calm and reserved, but he has a blank expression on his face most of the time. But despite that, he's a respectable student. If you guys remember from one of the chapters, it was mentioned that he was supposed to be a fourth-year student, but things happened, which I will not reveal just yet, and that's why he's much older than his peers.

Another thing about him is that he's mysterious, and he's someone that Max could never read nor approach. It's almost like his personality makes it difficult for anyone to start a conversation with him.

#11: Hans de Vries

Now for the duke, Hans. We don't know much about him yet, but as I was writing him, I've always had this mindset that Hans has to be very handsome in order to be the leader of BND. He has strong features, and he's charming too. But as Max had found out, his personality isn't as perfect as everyone thought it was. 

Hans is also always there to stop Marcus whenever Marcus tries to do something to anyone who would dare hurt his brother. He's a strong duke and a leader that BND follows with pride, which is why they're the third strongest brotherhood.

#12: Khian Augusto Zóbel de Ayala III

Khian was already introduced in the first volume, but we also don't know much about him yet. If I can say anything about him, I think his vibe is similar to Marcus, which is why they're close friends. There's nothing much to say about him now, but hopefully, you guys get to love his character more in the future chapters.

#13: Redford Monsour

This one made such a huge entrance, and I mean HUGE. I'm actually glad that you guys are already in love with him because I love Red too. His personality isn't shown much yet, but with what has already happened, we can see how Red is a very caring person and is a character that holds BND's three holy traits, which are honor, passion, and grace.

We'll know more about him in the future so expect more from Mr. Red.

#14: Charles Justin Mills

And lastly, we have Cigarette's leader, Cj. Cj is someone we call the perfect heir, or he looks like one. He's from a very rich family, and he looks like a proper son that his parents are proud of. Of course, we don't know much about him other than the fact that he's a total asshole, but Cj is also a character that I enjoyed writing so I hope you guys will continue reading my story to know more about him in the future.

To those who may be confused, these names are from different origins based on where the character is from, which is why they sound different.

Well, I guess that's it for now!

NOTE that I DO NOT KNOW all the names of the people in these photos so don't ask. AND I am well aware that they are teenagers, but I kinda feel weird if I actually imagine them as people who are much younger. It's just my opinion and personal preference.

Anyway, this is just a character portfolio, and not a cast reveal or anything like that, so please don't search for these people and consider them as Max, or Viktor, or any other character in the book, alright? They can look like anime characters for all I care so go crazy about how they look like. That's why I have descriptions of them so you can imagine their faces yourselves.
