The story begins on the large technologically advanced continent known as Gaius. It's extreme conditions, and unihabitable areas are nearly impossible to maneuver in. There are thirteen states which reside within, each seperated by a strip of land called dead zones. It's characterized as a ruin area, where the land has succumbed to disease, and water is contaminated and indigestible. Old abandoned highways connect the states. The ground in these areas are eroded, and large sand dunes extend to the skyscrapers.

Elites:
The Elites are a nobility of leaders living in the district of Edon, the capital of Terra. They are said to be the gods over Gaius, their bodies carved from perfection and their minds all-knowing. They are naturally stronger, taller, smarter and live much longer than an average human. There are only eleven, each of them having their own tasks and responsibilities.

Ladon(Unofficial leader, Commander of Terra's millitary, chief of state, overseer of the whitemarket and economy.)

Ramses (Controls bio-research, overseer of Terra's millitary expirements, bio-engineering)

Vera (Oversees the blackmarket, controls drug trafficking and currency, trades narcotics to foreign states(with help of Demetrius))

Leopold (Chief justice, controls the prisons, executions, courts, and is the chief of police. Also enforces Terra's laws)
Nickname: Left hand of God, Executioner

Demetrius (Leader of foreign affairs and chief diplomat. Head of homeland security. Controls foreign trade, employement, and immigration.)
Nickname: Bird of Odysseus

Athena (Controls the Nightlife, entertainment, media, club/bar buisnesses, and human trafficking)
Nickname: The hand of lust

Rafeyete (controls landscaping, overseer of Terra's environment, water supply, population, and food supply)

Pelleas (Controls hospitals, medical fields, pharmacies, funds and the organ marketing)

Murcutio (Overseer of transportion, air trade, shipping,)

Ulric (overseer of technology, engineering, weapon snd communication advancements)

Rainier (In control of segregation and social seperation of Hierachies and lower class citizens. Including the construction and planning of the district lines and walls, raising education and living costs in poverty struck parts, and shift in taxes)

SHURA:
SHURA is a special operations force, chosen directly by Terra's Elite Council. The force is broken into five squadrons, each a step closer to the Elite Hierachy itself. Members are usually chosen at a young age, to begin training early. There's only a two year opportunity for each memeber to move up in ranks(excluding Warrior and Veteran), making promotion difficult. There also may not be an opening for several years, making moving into a new branch nearly impossible. Though memebers can still move up in ranks within their own squadron I - III.

Recruits:
New volunteers and nobles looking to advance in higher titles. This group only participates in rank 6 missions, which usually involves helping with evacuations, securing supplies and aiding civilians. They're nicknamed the People's Guardian. There may only be 60 members at any given time.
Requirements:
- Age groups 14 - 16 to join
- Current students in any private academy
- Member of a hierachy household

Initiates:
Younger or new recruits. This squadron is only involved in rank 5 - 4 missions, which usually involves protecting the capital and city in case of attack. They're considered the last barrier against invasion, seeing how they're the only group that's exclusively stationed in Terra boarders. There may only be 18 members at any given time.
Requirements:

- Age groups 16 - 18 to join
- Students or undergraduate of Branor Academy.
- Member of a hierachy household

Soldiers:
The patrol and hunting team. They're also, on special occasions, deployed on missions to spy and retrieving information from other states. They mostly do rank 3 - 2 missions. There may only be 12 memebers at any given time.

Requirements:

- Age groups 18 - 20 to join
-Memeber of a upper hierarchy household

- An Initiate
-Graduate of Branor Academy

Warriors/Desciples:
The special assassination and tactical squad. They are directly controlled by the Elites and usually go on rank 1 - 0 missions involving tracking down terrorists and drug traffickers in other states. They're the only calvary that exclusively kills and travels on enemy and foreign soil. There are only 6 memebers allowed at most. They're the only calvary to be trained and educated by Elites.
Requirememts:
- Age groups 18 - 25 to join
- Graduates of Branor academy
- A Soldier

Veterans:
The commanders of the SHURA squadrons. They are in charge of overseeing operations, delivering orders from the Elites, and punishing any teams that do not follow orders or code of conduct. They also help scholar the Warriors/Desciples, training them out of their weaknesses. There may only be five Veterans at any given time. The title is granted to the memebers for life, but due to low mortality rate in SHURA, usually a position is open every ten years.

Hierarchies:
Hierarchies are the highest class of citizens in Terra, right below the Elites, living in the district of Aewa and Öna. They are associates, soldiers, and researchers working under higher government. Each member is recongnized by their household, usually associated with the head's last name. Unlike other households, Roland King chose to adopt, instead of marrying and having children of his own. He also allowed the children to keep their surnames, which is very unorthodox for hierarchies. But due to his closeness and admiration from Ladon, the Elites ignore this. In some cases, he is considered the most priveledged out of the hierarchies.

States:
Terra Reges (Holy state) - the largest and most powerful state. It's an aristocracy controlled by a council of upper hierarchies called Elites. The state is known for its strong millitary power and bioscience advancements. Much of it's residents and animals are genetically altered to the Elites preference. There are five districts within it, starting from highest class to lowest.

St. Eirene (The Fortress)- Second largest state and one of the last states known to have the near exinct wolves inhabiting it's forests. It's one of the very few dominions still rich in minerals and wildlife. Very isolated, it's leader and society is unkown to outsiders. Once a part of the United Research Force made to innovate technology to further humanity, it has since left and become homogeneous.

Lamia (Forest State)- A state west of St. Eirene. It's the only other state to still have animals roaming free in its wildlife. It's a monarchy, controlled by a king named Xerxes. They're known for their roman artitechture and castles. They also produce their own resources, trading with Terra to prevent tension and war.

Ferro (Iron State)- A satellite state west of Terra. It's known for it's industrial power and manufacturing of different metals, which are supplied to Terra and allied states. Ferro is much involved in the cleaning and demolishing of uninhabital cities, melting scraps to be used for other purposes. They also house the large worm like animals called Gaea's, which feed on building as large as skyscrapers, digging holes in landfills as wide as a 100 feet.

Veeana (City of War)- A satellite state on the far charted edges of Gaius, further west of Ferro. It once housed the base of Terra's research faculties and asylums, imprisoning infecting individuals and patients for expirements to better their millitary power. Eventually they began seeking a cure, but was destroyed.

Fort Venice (Devil's Lair) - A state far South of St. Eriene. It's said to be inhabited by refugees and carriers. A small group of leaders control it, but they reside in a large tower, isolated from the city neglecting it inhabitants. They only recieves 4 hours of daylight a day, due to it's thick and polluted air. The whole state is in post apocalyptic termoil, from genetically altered animals that hunt people and carriers alike, to Ex. patients that have escaped from from Veeana's prisons, now seeking refuge in Fort Venice's demolished cities.

Freya(Gang City)- Freya is a state between St. Erien and Terra. It's inhabited primarily by humans and Carriers in it's deeper towns. It has no leader, but is controlled by several gang lords and rogues. Freya is known for it's landscapes and forests. Much of it's cities are covered and eroded in vegetation. They are only threatened by genetically altered predators. Two of it's top gangs is Altara and Xaurva.

Xenon(Drug Paradise)- East of Freya, Xenon is considered a Drug zone. Having the largest drug trafficking black market in the world, the city is run by Rouges, drug lords, gangs and scavenging with prostitutes. The government is an Oligarchy, run by a council of men politically controlled by the gang, Blackdog Cartel.

Aether(Pleasure City): NorthEast of Terra, Aether is the third largest state in Gaius. It's known as pleasure city, for it's slave trade, clubs and banquets. The overall architect of Aether is similar to Rajasthani architect, with some distinct differences and exaggerated open spaces. There's many hot springs in the area, as well as salt lakes and man made shores, decorated with paintings and vivid mosiac tile art. Most of the buildings are made of sandstone, white washed to a light beige color. Aether also has fairly sunny and cloudless weather, due to climate control.

Jayra (The state of peace):
West of Lamia and Veeana is Jaya, the peaceful state which remains unallianced with anyone. Its fairly large and modernized, and due to its location, doesn't have regular contact with any developed states and leaders. It had the fourth strongest army, and one of the best economies next to Lamia. It's also seperated by a stretch of land that's succumbed to desertification due to lack of water. Theres several dunes and canyons around the area. There's a special organization to the king that resides here called Xero.

Deroaj (Island of the gods):
A very traditional and remote island off of Mihran Ocean. They're known for their strong religious beliefs, and their practices for becoming one with nature and heaven. They have no millitary, as they put all their faith in god. Their cities are made of clay and sand, and their economy is flourished with natural superfoods, giving the island citizens higher lifespans and health than an average Gaius pedestrian. Unlike modernzied states, they have farms as well as large cathedrals and instead of cars, they use animals and carts. Despite their undeveloped lifestyle, they are the healthiest and happiest people in the land. They've managed to keep their civilization under radar from Terra or any other state for centuries. They do not own much technology, but instead communicate using pigeons and mourning doves.

Raixun (city of the rain)
A very modernized and large city-state about the size of St. Eriene. Its suspended a hundred feet over the ocean by bridges and columns. Located tens of miles from Gaius' shore, It can't be seen with the naked eye, making it hard to find and isolated. The ocean is black/ grey due to pollution and storms quite often making travel hard and dangerous. Once visitors make it to the Raixun Bridge they can elevator up and travel to the shore or fly. Raixun is strict on visitors, but is said to be a very content and wealthy state. Due to its location the sky stays dark, cloudy and orange/pink in the mid daytime. It also rains often.

Darach(State of evergreens)
Containing the largest forestry and trees in Gaius, the clearest Lakes in the world, and the highest species diversity in the current known world, Darach is the lungs of manking. Drusus, the wise and young king controls all trade, and keepp a very strict fertility regulation within it's territory, to ensure civilization stays much below the carrying capacity. Darach is modernized, but keeps much of it's old artitechture themes and castles. It also possesses many natural monuments and parks.

  Vritra(City of Infectant)
A hidden satellite-state isolated far South of Terra. Control by the goverment of Elites, Vritra is a livestock of terminals who are kept sane through Terra's prototype Rei II.

Biomedical technologies:

Acer: The conscious that controls the FV cells and connects all living creatures under its reign. Though given the instruction to protect humans, it's knowledge only goes as far as instinct, with no distinguishment from morality. Because of such, it doesn't descriminate on who it infects, as long as it lives. During the war it underwent adaption as it found ways to cooperate with the immense fatalities numbering on. Not knowing how reverse it's behavior, Terra began massacring infected individuals.

The location of Acer is unkown, but the fact infectanted oganisms still exist and spread on brings conspiracies of its existence.
