As Finn opened the game, Maybeck spoke."I nominate myself as banker." 

"As If," was echoed one after another, that being everyone's reaction to Maybeck's suggestion. 

"You'd be stealing money the whole time,"Charlene comments to him, it drew nods and laughter from the surrounding group. 

"Charlie, you of all people, your supposed to be on my side! I will make you pay for such treason!" Maybeck pulled the blond girl at his side closer and began to tickle her, she yelled her complaints through laughter. The two never announced themselves a couple, but everyone, including themselves, considered it that way. Everyone else laughed at the sight of Charlene laughing so hard so was in tears. She has been moving trying to get away from the boy, bit somehow only ended up closer. When he finally stopped, Charlene found herself curled up  in his lap, hair a mess. Not realizing her position while being tickled, she blushed furiously now. 

Charlene began to crawl out of Maybeck's lap, then she felt a hand rest on her shoulder. It belonged to Maybeck.  

"Aw, why don't you stay here? Your warm, like a Charlene-shaped blanket!" he hugged her, pulling her back into his lap. The girls blue eyes were contrasted by her bright red face, but she did nothing more to escape his embrace. While their friends laughed, Charlene was resting her head on Maybeck, listening to his steady heart. 

When the laughter died down, they came back to the topic of who be banker. 

"Philby or Willa," Amanda suggested, saying what everyone was thinking. 

"Me," Philby said, looking to Willa,  making sure she was ok with that. He was glad she her nodding, she knew that he wouldn't completely trust anyone else with the role. They smiled at each other, a small moment between the two that only Finn saw, he muffled a smile at the two. Like Charlene, Finn knew of his friends feelings toward the girl that Finn himself consider a little sister. He couldn't help but wonder when they would both suck up pride and admit their feelings, they acted enough like a couple already...
