Later that day, Willa sat on her own, rereading the note. She giggled. They may be married, but things like this still made her feel like the middle school girl with a crush she was so many years back.
Looking around the home that she now shared with her true love, she laid eyes on the book Philby had currently been reading. Then an idea of pure brilliance struck her. She walked over to the bed stand that held the book and opened it to the page with blue bookmark and replaced the sheet of paper with the note she held.

Later that night the two lay in bed, Philby with one arm around Willa as they both reached for the books on their bedside. They had both developed the habit of reading together before falling asleep. Philby opened his book, and too his awe, the note fell out. Willa giggled and he smiled brightly as he looked down to the girl in his arms with glowing eyes.
"Well played," he said as she leaned forward and lay a kiss on his freckled cheek.
