A/n~this is to prove a point to my friend. (Don't ask 💀) Don't take it too seriously, I wrote this in like 10 minutes or so (idk) and you are free to make fun of it. Have fun 😭✨

As king snuck out of his palace, he thought about all the great things he'd accomplished.

He ruled an entire kingdom with an iron fist, his people love and respected him as much as his enemies trembled in fear before him, if not more, and he had as many gold as anyone with enough brains to dream of.

He had it all.

The fun. The adventure. The family.

But before he met her, he didn't have true love.

He's never spoke of her with his kingdom nor his family, as he knows their love is forbidden.

Nobody can ever know of their love.

And it breaks his heart every time he has to lie to Eda or luz, but in the end, he always thinks it's worth it when he sees her face again.

He jumped to thw next balcony as his heart hammered in the his chest, nervous, but excited to see her again.

When he found the right alleyway, he looked around to make sure nobody was following him.

He didn't use his in the dark sight because he thought it was unnecessary as he was certain nobody had followed him, and as he looked back he saw just shadows and nothing else. The usual.

He took that as a sign of it being safe.

He jumped down the alley and scurried to the place where he always meets her.

And there she was. Beautiful as ever in the moonlight.

She was one of a kind, a certain shade of grey that everyone would've guessed as plain.

But king knew... she was a lot more special than that.

King sat down next to her.

"Hi, Rock! How was your day?" King stayed in silence for a bit. "Really? That's awesome! My day was great too. Luz took me in market today and said I could buy whatever I wanted. And wanna know what happened?"

He paused again as if the rock answered.

"All the sellers gave me free stuff because I'm the king! Hahaha"

It went on like this for a few minutes, until an unknown shadow emerged from behind him.

"Please, it's not what it looks like!" King pleaded in desperation.

When the figure didn't say anything and just kept on walking to them, king got defensive.

"Don't you dare come any closer to her!"

The figure stopped at that. They put their hood down and revealed their face.

It was-

"Eda? What are you doing here?"

"I was gonna ask you the same thing. And who's her?" She looked over his shoulder.

King tried to think of an excuse, but nothing came to mind.

"Well- it's- uhh-" he decided on telling the truth. Once and for all.

He heaved a deep sigh as Eda waited patiently for his explanation.

"The truth is... I'm in love! But she's not of royal blood so I kept it from you... I'm really sorry Eda..." king waited for her to say that they had to separate and readied himself to object to her wishes.

"So that's the reason why you kept sneaking out every night?" Eda said with a slight chuckle. "King, that's perfectly ok. Although, I would've wished you told me sooner."

King looked at her in disbelief. She really supported his relationship?

"Would it be ok if you introduced us, king?" Eda asked with a warm smile.

"Of course! Ok, just gimme a second." King replied with a wide smile.

King turned around and started whispering to no one in particular. Of course, that's what Eda thought was happening.

Then he turned around to face her with a grin on his face, proud and determined.

"Eda, I want you to meet my girlfriend... Rock!"

Eda stayed shocked for a moment, wondering what the hell was going on. Then her brain started putting the pieces together...

"Well, it's very nice to meet you uhh Rock, was it?"

King squeaked an agreement.

"Why don't we take rock home and have her live with us, huh? king, What do you think about that?"

"You'd really do that?" King asked with even more disbelief in his voice.

"You're the king after all, so you make the rules... unless you don't want her to come-"

"I do! I do! I say she has to come with us at the palace... uh because I'm the king!"

After that night, everyone had heard about the new queen, Rock. Everyone had accepted her as kings girlfriend and lived happily ever after. The end.
