Anika stepped in the kitchen and all the servants bowed their head in front of her and Anika smiled at them.

The main cook stood in front of her with a polite smile.

C- Rani Sa, aap kya bhojan pakana chahti hain? Hum uski taiyaariyan kar denge. ( Your highness, what do you want to cook? I'll do all the preparations.)

Anika smiled.

A- Hum chappan bhog banana chahte hain. Kintu saari taiyaariyan hum swayam karna chahte hain. (I want to cook 56 dishes but I'll do the preparations myself.)

All the servants looked at her in shock that being a queen, she's ready to do all the work.

C- Kintu Rani sa.... (But ,your highness....)

Anika smiled at him.

A- Aap chintit mat hoiye. Hume gyat hai ki hum kya kar rahe hain. Aap bus hume sari samagri de dijiye. (Don't get worried. I know what I'm doing. You can provide me all the ingredients.)

The cook nodded his head and put all the ingredients on the floor, near the large handi (vessel).

Anika thanked him and asked all the servants to leave.

The servants nodded their head and left.

Ragini was noticing all the happenings in the kitchen. She smirked as she saw all the servants leaving the kitchen. Now she can easily do what she wanted. She smirked while looking at the small bottle filled with green colour liquid.

Anika started preparing all the food happily. She was working effortlessly.

An hour later, almost all the dishes were cooked. She smiled and turned to chop the corriander for presentation of the food.

Her back was facing the vessels in which the food was being cooked.

Ragini thought that this was the right opportunity to add the poisonous liquid in the food so she stepped into the kitchen with silent steps.

Anika immediately got alert as being a warrior, she can sense the slightest movement around her.

She turned to look at Ragini, who was about to add some liquid in the food.

A- Rajkumari Ragini, aap yaha kya kar rahi hain? (Princess Ragini, what are you doing here?)

Ragini got startled and all the liquid fell on her feet and burned her feet. Ragini winced in pain.

Anika looked at the liquid burning her feet and mentally smirked and then she immediately covered it with worried expression.

A- Aap Theek toh hain na? (Are you fine?)

Ragini looked at Anika with a fake smile.

R- Haan, hum theek hain. Woh Hume pyaas lagi thi toh socha jal grahan kar lein. ( Yes. I'm fine. Actually I was thirsty so I thought to drink some water.)

Anika nodded her head.

A- Kintu aap yaha kyu aayi? Kisi dasi ko bhej diya hota. ( But Why are you here? You should've sent some handmaiden.)

Ragini glared at Anika.

R- Kyuki sahi maiyano mein Aaj Hume yaha hona chahiye tha aapko nahi. (Because, in true rights, today I should have been here, not you.)

Ragini said while challenging Anika. Anika understood her intentions but pulled an innocent face.

A- Oh! Hume shama kar dijiyega kintu hume dasiyon ki madad ke bina hi bhojan pakana uchit lagta hai. Kintu Agli baar se hum aapko humari madad karne se rokenge nahi. ( Oh! I'm sorry but I don't feel right to take help from handmaidens while cooking. But from next time, I'll let you help me.)

Anika smirked and Ragini was flabbergasted as Anika called her a handmaiden. She was fuming in anger.

She was about to say something when Anika clapped her hand twice and a handmaiden entered the kitchen.

H- Pranam rani Sa. ( Greetings, queen)

A- Lata, aap sara bhojan paros kar bhojgrah mein lagwa dijiye aur sabko bhojan ka nyota de dijiye. ( Lata, set all the dinner in the dining area and invite everyone for the lunch.)

Lata nodded her head and bowed in front of Anika.

Anika was about to leave when she stopped and turned to look at Ragini who was throwing daggers at her with her eyes.

A- Aur Haan, Rajkumari Ragini Ko jal de dijiye, unhe pyaas lagi hai. (And yes, give some water to Princess Ragini, She's thirsty.)

Anika smirked and left. Lata gave a glass of water to Ragini and Ragini threw it on the floor.

R- Iss apman ka badla toh hum leke rahenge. (I'll definitely take revenge of my insult.)

Ragini left the kitchen.

Soon the lunch was set at the dining area and everyone settled at their respective places.

Shivaay looked at Anika and smiled while she lowered her eyes in shyness.

Shivaay chuckled mentally. The food was served and everyone was spell bound with the delicious aroma and variety of the food.

J- Anika, bhojan toh bahut swadisht lag raha hai. ( Anika, the food is looking so delicious.)

Jhanvi said with a wide smile and Anika smiled shyly.

A- Dhanyawad Maa Sa. ( Thank you, mother.)

Everyone was about to eat the first bite of the food when Ragini stopped them.

R- Ruk jaiye aap sab. Ye bhojan mat grahan kijiye. Isme rani sa ne vish milaya hai. Humne apni aankhon se dekha hai. Ye dekhiye vish ki botal. (Stop everyone. Don't eat this food. Queen has added poison in the food. I've seen it with my own eyes. See this bottle of Poison.)

Everyone looked at Ragini in shock.

Tej angrily glared at Ragini.

T- Aapko gyaat bhi hai ki aap kya keh rahi hain, Rajkumari Ragini? (Do you even know what are you saying, princess Ragini?)

R- Hum satya keh rahe hain. (I'm saying the truth.)

Anika had a determined look on her face.

A- Humne bhojan mein koi vish nahi milaya. Iss baat ko nishchit karne ke liye, hum swayam yeh bhojan chakh ke batate hain. ( I haven't added any poison in the food and to prove it, I'll taste the food myself.)

Anika went towards Shivaay's plate and was about to taste it when Shivaay stopped her.

Anika looked at him in confusion.

S- Yeh bhojan Rani sa nahi, hum chakhenge. ( I'll taste this food, not Anika.)

Ragini's face paled as she thought that everyone will believe her and accuse Anika but here they are hell bent on tasting the food.

R- Kintu Raja sa, isme vish hai. ( But your highness, this food is poisonous.)

Shivaay glared at Ragini.

S- Hume koi antar nahi padta. Hume rani sa par pura vishwas hai, woh kabhi aisa nahi karengi aur ye baat hum nishchit karenge. (It doesn't matter to me. I trust Anika and i know she'll never do something like this and I'll prove it.)

Anika looked at Shivaay with teary eyes.

Shivaay tasted the food and nothing happened.

S- Yeh bhojan surakshit hai. Isme koi vish nahi hai. Aur Rajkumari Ragini, humne aapko pehle savdhaan kiya tha ki aap rani sa ko koi takleef nahi dengi kintu aap ne humari patni par itna ghinona aarop lagaya. Aapki yeh bhool shama prarthi nahi hai. Kintu hume aapko saza dene ka adhikar nahi hai kyuki pitashri aapko iss mahal mein laye the. Toh hum yeh adhikar unhe dete hain.(This food is safe and isn't poisonous. And Princess Ragini, I've warned you before that you won't harm Anika but you put such a wrong allegation on her. Tej was fuming in anger after Ragini's deed.

T- Ragini, aapne humari bahu par aarop laga kar acha nahi kiya. Aapne humara sar sharm se jhuka diya. Hume Aapse ye umeed nahi thi. Hume nahi pata tha ki aap itna neeche gir jayengi ki humari bahu ko bhare samaj mein apmanit karnegi. ( Ragini, you didn't do right by putting allegation on my daughter-in-law. I'm ashamed of you. I didn't expect this from you. I didn't know that you'll stoop so low that you'll defame my daughter in law infront of society.)

Ragini started fake crying.

R- Hume shama kar dijiye, Maharaja sa. Humse bhool ho gayi. Hum bus aap sabko surakshit rakhna chthWhin

Ragini said while fake crying and joining her hands.

Tej shook his head.

T- Har bhool ki ek saza Hoti hai aur aapki saza hai ki aap iss mahal mein nahi rahengi ab. Aap humare rajya ke athithi niwas mein rahengi aur agar aapko kisi se bhi milna ho toh aap ek dut ko bhejkar aagya lengi phir aap milne aa sakti hain. Apna samaan bandh lijiye, aapko aaj sandhya se pehle athithi niwas pahunchna hoga. ( Every mistake has a punishment and yours is that you won't live here Anymore. You'll live in the guest house of our kingdom and if you want to meet anyone in the palace then you'll have to send a messenger and take permission from the person. Pack your luggage, you'll have to reach guest house before Evening.)

Ragini started crying.

R- Nahi maharaj. Aap aisa nahi kar sakte. Aapne humare pitashri se wada kiya tha ki aap humara khayal rakhenge. (No, your highness. You can't do this. You promised my father to take care of me.)

Tej glared at her angrily.

T- Wada kiya tha isiliye aap jivit hain. Ab jaiye. ( I promised him, that's why you're alive. Now go.)

Two handmaidens dragged Ragini and left.

T- Bhojan shuru kijiye. Humari bahu ne pratham baar bhojan banaya hai. ( Start eating. My daughter-in-law has cooked for the first time.)

Tej said with a huge smile.

T- Anika, aap bhi baithiye aur bhojan kijiye. (Anika, you also have a seat and start eating.)

Anika nodded her head with a smile.

She settled beside Shivaay and a servant served food to her.

Everyone happily ate their food.
