"Okay now Manik you may go and take bath and Navya take this haldi it's for Nandini" Sheetal said making both Manik and Navya nod as Manik went to get a shower and ready while Navya went taking the haldi away for Nandini

After Manik was ready, he had to stand in front of the family deities and a small puja is performed by the priest. Puja of a turban or headgear called sehra is done by the priest "Now groom's Father or any elder male memeber may tie this sehra (turban) on groom's head" The priest said as Raj tied the sehra on Manik's head and then all left for the next ritual

"Now let's start the Ghodi (horse) sajana and Ghodi chadna ceremony for that the groom may sit on the well decorated Ghodi and the sisters or the cousins of groom may feed sweets and water to the horse then the sister-in-law of groom may put Surma below the horse eyes it's done to save from evil and have a safe journey and then you all may start your journey till the venue" The priest said as Raina and Navya followed him and then they left for the venue taking the barat when they reached the venue they had a warm welcome done by the Murthy's like warm hugs shaking hands this ritual is called agwaani after that Nandini's Masi did Aarti of Manik in behalf of Nandini's Mom Tara and then all were taken inside while Manik was made sit in the middle near the havan

"Now you may call the bride down" The priest said after the Pooja was done while Jeff brought Nandini down and when she entered the hall Manik forgot to take his breath looking at her beauty with the redness on her cheeks

After that they were again made sit never the sacred fire/havan and then Nandini gave Manik a small bowl of water. He sprinkles some water first on his feet, then his body and eventually drinks the rest.

After this, Manik was given a sherbet called madhuperk (made of clarified butter or ghee, curd, honey and some essence) to drink. He takes it and sprinkles some in all directions before slowly sipping on it.

"Now bride's father may come for kanyadaan" The priest said as Prem came to give his daughters hand on Manik's saying that the way to cared for his daughter now it's time for him to care for her in the same way

Later 14 parallel lines of flour is made on a plate and kept in front of Manik. A flower bud is kept atop it. The 14 lines symbolize 14 wedding vows that Manik has to fulfill all through his life. The priest chants mantras and the priest tells Manik one vow at a time and exhorts him to fulfill it with his life. He took the vow and erase one line at a time with that flower bud.

"Now tie the groom's scarf with bride's dupptta" The priest said as Nyonika tied it "Now you both may take Mangal phere first 3 rounds should be taken by bride in front and last 4 rounds should be taken by the groom" He said as Manik and Nandini took the pheres "Now bride's brother may come for lajahom" Priest said as Rishab came with rice flakes in his hands making Nandini form a cup with the palm of her hands and Manik puts his cupped hands beneath her hands. After that Rishab then puts the rice flakes in the cup and the couple offers it to the Fire God and seek his blessings, this is repeated three times.

"Now groom may put vermillion on bride's head and may complete Sindoor daan ceremony" Priest said as Manik did moving inside Nandini's veil "From today you are husband and wife" The priest said as Nandini and Manik had satisfied smile on their faces and then they went to take blessings of all the elders

"What are you finding" Nandini asked Manik as he was busy finding something

"My shoes" Manik said looking at everywhere

"Manik may be someone kidnapped them" Navya said mischievously giggling

"But why would they steal my shoes" Manik said looking at Navya and them realisation hit him "Bhabhi you were on my side this is cheating" Manik said cribbing with a bad face

"I never said I was in your side I am on my Nandu's side" Navya said side hugging Nandini

"You are useless" Manik said turning towards to Cabir who was busy looking at the sky and then turned towards Raina and said "Raina you also"

"I love you but I love Di more" Raina said hugging Nandini and kissing her cheeks while having no option Manik had to give money to them and then they showed the place where they hide his shoes which were below the mandap while Manik all the time glared at Cabir who was busy looking at the sky

"Now as Royal you have two weddings one of your own religion second Christian wedding so the vidaai ceremony won't be held and the groom and the bride may go to their respective rooms and prepare themselves for the catholic wedding" The priest said as all went to their respective rooms to get ready
