"Let's start Pooja Jeff go and call Nandini" Prem said while Jeff nodded going away and came back holding Nandini down with her and when Manik looked at her only to get lost in her land until priest broke it

"Groom and Bride must sit here near the fire" The priest said as he saw Nandini came down while after priest those words Manik and Nandini were made sat on front "Now keep the rings for engagement here for Puja" The priest said while Raj and Prem kept the rings in front of him for puja "Engagement rings are been worshipped now both the families can exchange the the gifts as Shagun and then after completing Roka ceremony you may start the Chunni ceremony"

"You are looking very pretty as an Angel" Nyonika said to Nandini as she put chunni/dupatta on her head

"Now groom's mother may give bride any traditional red dress as Shagun then the other Shagun gifts" The priest said as Sheetal gave Nandini red lehenga followed by bangles for the bride and also traditional sweets like meva, chilli, fruits and henna then the dupatta placed on Nandini's head was was stretched till covering her face using it as a veil then her hands are dyed with mehendi and also the bangles are slipped onto her wrists after that Manik's father putted meva into the "jholi" or bag of the bride and the parents of Manik also give her a date fruit to eat

"Manik take little vermilion and apply it on her forehead" Nyonika said to Manik while he nodded applying vermilion on her forehead (Tika)

"Pre-engagement group-fie" Raina said as all the pre-engagement were completed while everyone stood for the group-fie together

"You are really looking like a love sick puppy" Cabir said making him look towards Nandini and divine her beauty "Anyways see my dear Bhabi is coming"

"Nandini you are glowing" Navya said coming down with Nandini holding her

"And the reason behind is looking at you so intensely like he will eat you up now" Jeff said mischievously looking towards Manik

"But how can veet eat me up" Nandini said equally mischievously making baithe of them dumfounded while Nandini smiled evilly at the end "The reason behind my glowing skin is veet don't you or what you both forgot you only have it to me to use it"

"Na-Nandini Cabir is calling me I am going by" Nandini said literally running away after Nandini reached on the stage

"Me oh see Ansh is waiting for me bye" Jeff said looking for her reason and the best reason she found ansh so she ran away

"You are looking handsome" Nandini said blushing try her best to compose herself

"That I know" Manik said to Nandini in a teasing tone

"How mean I am here complementing you and you are teasing me go away I won't talk to you" Nandini said glaring at him with a haww face

"I would go don't worry but after this engagement ends" Manik said matter of fact making Nandini's eyes wide making Manik chuckle at her antics

"Di you are looking so beautiful" Raina said coming from behind hugging Nandini

"Chindi shut up I am her brother right so it's my first right to complement" Rishab said separating them and hugging Nandini

"My first right to complement" Raina said mimicking Rishab's tone

"Um I think we are not alone but with many other royals too" Nandini said with a fake smile trying to make them realise

"He/She started first" Both said together and then glared at each other

"Nandini you know right how they are ignore them come let's talk" Prem said making Nandini sit on the seat and started to talk with her later even Raina and Rishab joined them

"Manik Manik" Nyonika said calling Manik like since years but he wasn't ready to listen only because he was lost in Nandini world

"Queen Mom he is gone case leave it" Cabir said shaking his head sadly

"With this ring I promise to always be with you in any situation" Nandini whispered in Manik's ear as she made him wear the ring in indian punjabi wedding unlike western weddings, no marriage vows or vows of love are exchanged, some families consider the exchange of rings as the final mark of acceptance of the bride coming into the family of the groom and vice versa but Manik Nandini exchanged vows on their on will
