Chapter 8-Rainy Days

(Your POV)

I stayed up the entire night playing competitive TF2 as all classes, copying the skills and carrying my entire team. Even when I was playing as the medic, I carried my entire team. I was so good at the game, I was kicked for being too good. After a couple of minutes of laughing my ass off, I moved on over to FFXV just so I can get all the Royal arms, but I didn't collect all of them yet so I'm stuck with a few. Which wasn't so bad.

Video Game Mimicry: [Activated]
Skills Copied:

Build/Destroy
[Active]
Cost: 130 Metal for a sentry, 100 for a dispenser, 50 for teleporters, 100 for mini sentries
Desc: This skill allows you to build sentries, dispensers, and teleporters. Since this isn't a skill you can level up, you're pretty much stuck with building only one sentry or dispenser. Though you can build two teleporters and However many mini sentries you want. Speaking of these machines, you can also detonate them from anywhere should their usefulness run dry or if you just feel like killing somebody who's close to your machines.

Disguise
[Active/Passive]
Cost: 50 SP per activation
Desc: You can disguise yourself as a member of the enemy team, but be careful on whom you disguise yourself as. If you're around the same person you disguise yourself as, then don't bother running, you're already dead.

I'm running circles around ya!
[Passive]
Desc: Grants you a 33% speed boost and allows you to double jump.

Armiger
[Active/Passive]
Cost: 100 MP
Desc: This skill allows you to summon all of your royal arms from your inventory and enter a brief state of power. This mode increases you attack speed, mobility, and overall power.

Warp
[Active]
Cost: 5 MP
Desc: You can now teleport, it works by throwing whatever weapon you're holding and turning into light, and you reappearing while holding the hilt. Of course, this ability doesn't work if you have spells or ranged weapons equipped, which is understandable.

Craft spells/Absorb
[Active]
Cost: Free
Desc: You can absorb the elemental energy from dust crystals and turn that energy into freakin BOMBS!!" There's also the fact you can combine up to three different energies to get  SUPER BOMBS!!"

Quick Draw
[Passive]
Desc: You now have faster access to your inventory, all you have to do is imagine the weapon you want to wield and it will appear in your hands with a (f/c) flash.

Items Gained:

Soda Popper
Rank: A-
Desc: A seemingly regular shotgun with a soda strapped to the barrel. While this gun may not look like much, it packs quite a punch and can even provide a small boost.  The soda on the bottom of the gun can provide a temporary boost that grants the user the ability to jump up to six times.

Direct Hit
Rank: B-
Desc: Direct Hit is a rocket launcher that doesn't do much splash damage, but it does more damage compared to normal rockets nonetheless. Truly going with the name, this weapon is best used when scoring direct hits. One other thing you can do is pair this item up with the Long Fall Boots to send yourself flying, thanks to the fact the boots absorb all kinetic force connecting to your feet.

Flamethrower
Rank: C-
Desc: The flame thrower is a weapon that shoots...well, flames. This fire can be used to damage enemies over time, inflicting burn damage. There is also another function with this weapon, airblast, which can be used to reflect most projectiles and send people away.

The brass beast
Rank: B+
Desc: This absolute unit of a gun does more damage than your average gatling gun, but it also makes you 50% slower thanks to its weight. On the bright side, it does grant a 50% bonus in defense while your're below 50% health and have this weapon equipped.

Wrench
Rank: D+
Desc: This wrench is a bit different, it does everything a normal wrench can do, upgrading machines, repairing machines, and more. This wrench also grants you the ability to deploy mini-sentries, since I'm sure you're not in the mood to cut off your own hand just for the wrangler.

Sticky bomb launcher
Rank: C+
This weapon allows you to shoot bombs that stick to whatever you want, whether it's walls or your crazy ex. You can also detonate these balls to create traps, but they're manual and will not activate automatically.

Grenade Launcher
Rank: C+
Desc: It's a gun that fires grenades that do splash damage, need I say more?

Hitman's Heatmaker
Rank: B
Desc: This rifle does less damage on body shots than your average rifle, but it's perfect for stealth missions. The rifle does more damage when dealing headshot, and has a silencer so no one can hear you.

Dead Ringer
Rank: A-
Desc: This is a pocket watch that allows you to turn invisible for a short amount of time, but this one is different. This pocket watch allows you to fake your death with a fake corpse and grants you a speed boost when you do use this function. Don't ask where the corpses come from though, and why they're so realistic.

Medi gun
Rank: D-
Desc: This is a large gun that can fire a beam that heals people. You can also charge this weapon up and activate an Uber Charge that makes you invincible for a short time.

Sword of the Wise
Rank: A+
Desc: A sword that performs short warp-strikes when near enemies

Axe of the Conqueror
Rank: A+
Desc: A polearm that performs slow but powerful attacks, at the expense of defense and increased HP loss. Has a unique warp-strike, launching diagonally upward above the target then crashing down. Especially good at making enemies vulnerable.

Blade of the Mystic
Rank: A+
Desc: A greatsword with the ability to briefly increase the wielder's Strength through a unique self-buff after swinging. The warp-strike fires three ranged energy beams before warping

Bow of the Clever
Rank: A+
Desc: A bow that fires piercing arrows, and can fire while moving in any direction. Its damage is based on the Magic stat. Warp-strike fires multiple arrows upward

Swords of the Wanderer
Rank: A+
Desc: Dual swords functioning similar to daggers that can transform into a single weapon to deliver powerful blows

Shield of the Just
Rank: A+
Desc: A shield that enables cover status when guarding, enabling HP recovery at the cost of MP. It can block normally unblockable attacks and negate most of the damage. The radius of its warp-strike is very wide.

The haul wasn't much to be honest, but it was good for now. I had to stop when I heard knocking at the door though, so I turned off my console and put my switch in my inventory so I could at least use that. The knocking continued for a while before I walked up to the front door and opened it, revealing it was Houki and Kaminari at my door.

"Morning man." Kaminari greeted me with a smile, before his eyes went wide and he looked behind me. "Hey, what's with all the weapons?"

"Is that a mess from the previous owner?" Houki questioned before she gasped and bowed. "Sorry, I was going to thank you for letting us stay here."

"Hey don't worry about it, just don't break anything, do your part in chores, and you'll be fine." I reassured Houki as she stood straight again, then I turned to face Kaminari. "As for your guys' question, my ability may be video game physics, but I copy skills from video games instead of runes or books from Sung and Jihan."

"That seems pretty cool, but can you even lift them up?" Kaminari questioned before pointing over to the Brass Beast and Shield of the Just. "I mean look at those things, they must weigh a bunch."

After hearing what he said as a kind of challenge, I quickly put all of my items in my inventory, showing off that I can lift them. All of my items except for Brass Beast and Shield of the Just, both of which I picked up with one hand each and got into an taunting position.

"DOUS'T THOU EVEN HOIST!!" I shouted in my best impression of a knight before walking over to Kaminari and Houki, then I put the items in my inventory. "Questions aside, what brings you two over here?"

"Oh, we were just asked to get you for breakfast." Houki answered honestly before pointing to my attire. "But you should probably get dressed first, since there is a uniform requirement."

I looked down at my attire and saw that I was wearing the same thing I was wearing yesterday, boots and all. Then I compared my outfit to Houki's and Kaminari's outfits, which were both uniforms. Though I did find strange that neither of them were wearing the same kind of uniforms, that's when I realized every class had a different uniform design, which I found pretty strange.

Nonetheless, I checked my inventory and found out I actually had a uniform in there. I must've overlooked it with all the dirt I have now, so I checked if I had an  [Armor] setting in my inventory, which I did. Then I replaced my clothes with the uniform, which just made it look like the uniform suddenly replaced my combat uniform. Which must have confused Houki and Kaminari while I walked out of my house and locked  it.

(A/N: Your uniform and how you wear it, but the tie is your favorite color)

"Wha-?" Houki questioned while examining my uniform closely. "When did you?"

"Video game physics." I answer as I begin to follow Kaminari, and almost leave Houki behind because of the fact she wasn't moving. "So how is everyone liking the new place anyways?"

"Well Sujin and Koneko immediately became best friends while beating up Issei and Mineta after the two perverts peeked in on the bathhouse, even sharing a chocolate bar after that." Kaminari began while holding up a finger as if he was counting something. "Akeno and Nora started calling themselves the thunder sisters, Sora and Kiba are teaching eachother sword techniques, Uryu and Seongchul have decided to live in the library, Khun beat Rias in a chess match using 'underhanded' tactics', and everyone agreed to protect Asia from anything that might hurt her in any way shape or form. Also Rak's been calling everyone 'Something Turtle'..."

"From what little interactions I've had with him, he calls everyone Turtle." I explained while walking with the three people back to the main building, which was probably a former barracks. "He calls Bam 'Black Turtle', he calls Sung 'Shadow Turtle', and he calls me 'King Turtle'."

"He called me 'Pika Turtle'." Kaminari informed me and I held in a laugh. "That's not funny!"

"It's hilarious-wait, how long have we had a bathhouse?" I questioned Houki, who just shrugged. "I swear, I should probably draw out a map for this place."

The three of us just kept on walking until we reached the main building. From there, I opened the door and walked down the picture-lined hallway towards the dining room. Along the way, I passed by Nami watching the news in the living room with Chad and Kiba. As I made my way towards the dining room, I immediately felt a pair of hands covering my eyes.

"Guess who~." The voice teased, and judging from the voice, it wasn't Rias, Yang, or Ruby. So by narrowing it down, I figured out the voice was...

"Akeno, I think was your name?" I asked, which was honestly a shot in the dark given how many people were here.

"Correct, good job for remembering~." The hands removed themselves and the girl in question walked in front of me. "Perhaps I can reward you with some company tonight~."

Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it. Don't say it.

"BEGO-" I was cut off by Issei and Mineta screaming at the top of their lungs in...jealousy?

"ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!" Mineta shouted in envy before someone bonked him on the head, I looked at the source and it was Dawei, who was radiating a threatening aura.

"Mineta, I'm still extremely pissed about you peeking in on Mira, so be grateful I didn't kill you." Dawei then cracked his knuckles while staring at Mineta and Issei, who both shuddered and ran over to the dining room. "One other thing, (Y/N), you alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine, why?" I questioned as the five of us continued our way to the inning room.

"You didn't eat last night, so some of us were pretty worried, especially since we don't think we saw you even eat anything in the past three days." Dawei reminded me before he looked up to indicate that he was trying to remember something. "In fact, I think all the girls, except for Pyrrha, Nora, and Mira, volunteered to make you something. But Jihan told us you're getting some new skills so we decided not to interrupt."

"Well I appreciate the thought." I informed the man, who nodded in understanding. "Also, are you and Mira going out or something?"

"Not trying to sound rude, but I'd appreciate it if you don't listen in on my personal life." Dawei politely requested and I nodded.

"Understandable." I nodded before reaching and opening the doors of the dining room.

Inside the room was a good portion of the individuals living here, but neither teams RWBY or JNPR were here, which I found kind of odd. Looking around the room revealed that Uryu, Jihan, Khun, and Mira were all in the kitchen, since I noticed they weren't in the dining hall.

"You know, what does the interior of this place resemble more of a hotel than a clan house?" Kaminari questioned and I just shrugged before going over to a table that had six chairs.

(Timeskip brought to you by Kaminari teasing Mira and Dawei, both of whom were blushing)

Now all of us, except for teams RWBY and JNPR for some reason, are all at the front gate, ready to head over to King's. The only downside was that it was raining, scratch that, it was downright pouring. Thankfully, mostly everyone had umbrellas. Except for Jotaro and Kakyoin, both of whom had their stands take care of the rain. Meanwhile, everyone else had an umbrella on their person, except for me. I just stood out in the rain with my arms outstretched and embracing every droplet of water. Thankfully, my uniform, or any of my clothes for that matter, never gets wets in the water.

As I walked down the street, I noticed there was a small figure with a green hood, talking to a rabbit puppet on her hand. The poor girl appeared to be wandering around her rain, but at least she was wearing a hood, but it was pretty bizarre nonetheless. I let out a deep sigh and began walking over to the little girl while the others proceeded to walk to King's.

"Hey there." I greeted the girl, who looked up at me with the eyes comparable to that of a lost rabbit, pretty funny considering she's holding a rabbit puppet. "Are you lost?"

"I just happen to know exactly where we're going!" The puppet shouted at me, you know what, I'm just going to assume this puppet is alive because that won't be the weirdest thing to happen this week. "Who are you?!"

"Name's (Y/N), may I have the honor of knowing you and your friend's names?" I bowed to the duo overdramatically, making the small girl giggle to herself, maybe I should thank Ruby for teaching me to be overdramatic.

"My name's Yoshinon, and my friend here is Yoshino." The rabbit puppet waved it's stubby arms as it introduced itself and the girl in the hood. "Glad to see someone who doesn't automatically assume I'm no better than a doll!"

"Meh, I've worked with stranger beings than a living puppet." I then began listing off only the strangest of my allies. "For starters, there's a guy who lights his leg on fire, a pervert who can boost his power, a girl who can stop time, and there's another girl about your height who's physically stronger than me."

"Why are you working with a pervert?" Yoshinon questioned before bearing an evil grin. "Are you a pervert yourself? That would explain why you came up to cute little Yoshino here, all al-"

"I'm just going to stop you right there," I pinch the rabbit's mouth shut before releasing it again. "I came over here because it's raining, you're all alone, and I don't want you getting a cold."

"Well what about you, you don't even have a jacket?!" Yoshinon pointed out and I showed off the fact that my clothes were 100% dry, as if the water just dropped right off. "What on earth?"

"It just occurred to me, I never properly introduced myself." (I doubt most of you will get the reference). "My full name is (Y/N) (L/N), Descendant of the Ryujin and King of Games. So to sum it all up; anything involving water and/or games is pretty much my domain." That last part was a lie because I haven't worked on any hydrokinesis techniques yet, but I'll work on it today.

"(Y/N)!!!" Shouted Ruby from the house, I looked over and saw that there were teams RWBY and JNPR sprinting over to King's. "We're gonna be late!!"

"Son of a cussing cuss word." I tried not to curse but I got the point across. "See you two later, I've got to school. Now remember Yoshino, don't take candy from strangers, have the rabbit do the talking for you, and kick anyone if you think they're a threat. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to make like a Joestar and NIGERUNDAYO!"

I gave my advice to the girl, who just stared at me while I ran towards the school and waved to her. Thanks to my new Passive skill [I'm running circles around ya], I managed to catch up to the teams in a matter of seconds, surprising everyone while I did so. I even managed to outrun Ruby, who was at the head of the group with Ren and Blake close behind.

"Hope you guys make it!" I shouted at the group of people before pulling out [Direct Hit] and rocket jumping over to the school. "SCREAMING EAGLES!!"

I didn't appear to take damage from the fall damage or the explosion that sent me flying. I looked down at my feet to see I was wearing the Long Fall Boots, which are made to prevent fall damage. After a while of thinking, I suppose that these boots could be used to neutralize any kind of force if angled correctly, which could be useful in a fight against someone who primarily focuses on brute force, like that behemoth grimm or Yang.

(Timeskip brought to you by (Y/N) rocket jumping into a tower, while Ethan takes a picture)

After rocket jumping into the bell tower face first, I got a bloody nose that I had to plug up with a tissue that was conveniently handed to me by Dark, while Ethan laughed hysterically. Sora on the other hand handed me a dango, which I'm not even going to consider where she got, maybe from a vendor that I passed over while screaming patriotic profanities.

"Thanks Dark, Sora." I thanked the two individuals, as the four of us began jogging over to Koro-sensei's room, which is the first period. "I appreciate you two actually helping me."

"Well excuse me for having some great footage." Ethan smirked at my passive aggressiveness.

I just shook my head and kept on walking towards the classroom, passing various kinds of people there wearing various kinds of uniforms. The only difference were the colors though, ranging from orange and autumn for huntsmen to black and white for General. As we made our way down the halls, I saw paintings of four people, all of which were introduced with a gold plate that said their names and title.

Emperor Edelgard von Hresvelg

King Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd

Duke Claude von Riegan

Queen Angelia Carlos

I could tell that there was a fifth image that was missing, given the space between the picture of Angelia and a door to the main office. I would have stayed to investigate the lack of a painting but I still had class to make it to. Wait, I'm pretty sure I should be questioning why three house characters ar even on the wall, but then I remembered the game was based on our history. Which makes me question where the hell those heroes relics went.

"Hey, (Y/N), snap out of it." Dark tapped my shoulder as we arrived at Koro-Sensei's classroom, while Sora held the door open for us. "C'mon, you don't want to be late on the first day now do you?"

The four of us walked in and I looked for people I knew, spotting most of my peerage members across the room taking up two rows of seats to the right corner of the room. Not surprisingly, Rak appears to have challenged Mori to an arm wrestling contest, which Rak lost not even five seconds into. Bam was on the sidelines trying to cheer Rak up while trying to get him out of it, at the same time, Dawei was keeping track of how many wins each person had on a piece of paper. Mori had ten and Rak had zero.

Regardless, I walked over to everyone with Sora, Ethan, and Dark close behind. Seraphina looked over at me and waved before continuing to play something on her phone, given how she had a seat open between her and the walkway, I decided to sit there while the trio that was following me sat in the row behind me. We talked for a little while before Joe pointed to someone staring at me, I turned my head over and saw that it was a blonde woman with a blue hair accessory.

The moment our eyes met, she got up from her seat and walked over to me. Her posture gave away that she was trained for nobility, given how her back was straight and her footsteps were very well balanced, must've been through that book-on-head training I went through as well. She didn't stop walking until she was standing directly above me.

"Um, hello-" I tried to greet the girl but she cut me off with a huff, kind of confusing me.

"So you're this (Y/N) (L/N) that I keep hearing about from Rias and Weiss?" The blonde woman questioned, staring at me with eyes that pretty much screamed that she was better than me and a uniform that told me she was an IS pilot. "I personally find it surprising that someone like you could have gotten accepted here."

"Is every Himedere going to insult me this school year or what?" I rhetorically ask Sera and John, both of whom just nod. "As for your question, yes I am (Y/N) (L/N), and can I know who you are?"

"Not very surprising that a mere fish doesn't know who the British representative is." The woman bragged, which I guess she wasn't that wrong about me being a fish thanks to the gills. "I am Cecilia Alcott, and representative from Britain."

"Nice to meet you Cecilia." I say, trying to be polite since she's just a cunt and not harming anyone. "Though are you sure you're not just mad at me about the Boston Tea Party? After all, I'm from the country that managed to kick your country's ass while it was at its peak."

"Oh don't you start." Cecilia sighed before glaring at me with a challenging glare. "(Y/N) (L/N), I challenge you to a duel in Meliodas' class."

"Alright, I accept." I nonchalantly say, knowing I could outsmart her if she ends up being stronger than me. "See ya then."

"Farewell." Cecilia huffed and walked back over to her seat, so I just started coming up with backup plans to figure out what kind of IS she pilots and how to counter any IS she pilots.

After I did that, I looked around the room to see different kinds of individuals, ranging from huntsmen to devils, stratos users to the quirked, and so on. Though I felt as though my little peerage stood out especially in this class, since we were all huddled together and none of us were wearing the uniform the same way. I was about to talk to everyone but then Korosensei stepped into the front of the room.

"Hello students, my name is Koro-Sensei, and I will be taking care of the basic education stuff, since it's still a requirement." The octopus teacher introduced himself before someone raised their hand. "Yes Ms,Yaoyorozu?"

"Forgive my bluntness, but aren't you the one who destroyed the moon?" The girl named Momo asked the teacher, referring to the fractured moon that no one's really certain what caused. "In fact, you flat out admitted to it on the news."

"While I would say I did, sadly, I'm not allowed to lie here so I'll have to tell you that wasn't me." Koro-Sensei admits before dashing at blinding speeds around the room to hand us textbooks. "Now we don't have much time to waste, turn to page 30."

We all turned our books over to the page and Koro-sensei began his lesson, which was actually a lesson on King Leonidas on his 300 Spartans. His lesson consisted of explaining what Leonidas effectively was, the embodiment of courage and trust. Koro-sensei explained how courage can both be a powerful weapon and one's downfall. Hell, Koro-Sensei even did the statistics, math, and skill comparison just to prove that Leonidas would have won that battle if he had more numbers.

After the lesson, we all made our way to Meliodas' class in groups that we're familiar with. I was currently walking with Jihan and Sujin, while comparing skills. Apparently Jihan can upgrade his skills and I can't, well I suppose that's to be expected. After all, my skills are copied from video games, so it shouldn't be that surprising all my skills are set.

The three of us were walking down the halls, observing the different paintings that lined the halls. Most of which were historical images like before, but there quite a few images missing as well. Only difference is that these images were even more obvious, the missing images left a kind of imprint on the wall to show they were there at some point.

"Hey (Y/N), any idea as to why they removed the paintings?" Sujin asked, carefully examining the empty spaces as we kept on walking.

"Beats me." I admit before remembering there was a fifth person that should have been with those four paintings earlier. "Wait a minute...I think they only removed images of Inquisitor (Y/N) Acelin."

"He has the same name as you?" Jihan questioned while looking at a picture of Naofumi Iwatani, the last shield hero. "Did this guy do anything bad in his life?"

"No, he's actually the one who founded King's Academy to replace Garreg Mach since it became a military/religious pinpoint in Fodlan." I informed the two while trying to remember the guy a bit more, but there wasn't much information on him to begin with, the only other piece of information on his was that he got married, but his wife's name is unknown.

"Whatever the reason is, it's best we're on guard during our time here." Sujin pointed out as we arrived at the entrance to the girl's locker room. "But for now, let's just go along with these lessons, now go get dressed into your combat uniforms you two."

"Yes ma'am!" Me and Jihan saluted out of fear of the woman before speed walking over to the boy's locker room to change into our combat uniforms.

Well, for me and Jihan it was more like us requiping into our combat uniforms. Jihan's combat uniform was a simple red shirt, gray sport pants, and tennis shoes, completely different from mine that makes me look like a pirate wizard. Once the two of us were changed, we then made our way over to the arena Meliodas teaches at.

We walked out of the locker room to be met with the rest of our team waiting for us just outside of the hall that leads into the arena. Strangely enough, Rias didn't change clothes for some reason. Pushing that aside, we then proceeded to join our class as they stood around the centerpiece of the arena. Once we got there, Meliodas stopped to look at the ground and looked up towards the sky, then he started smiling before flashing a small smile.

"So who would like to fight who first?" He asked, and Cecilia was about to speak.

(A/N: I know everyone hates cliffhangers, but there's way too much happening in this chapter; soldier references, Dawei and Mira being tsunderes around each other, a brief insight into another book I'm working on, Yoshino shows up, and Cecilia hates your guts for some reason. Anyway, see ya!
