Chapter 15-Tutorial Completed

(Your POV)

After arriving home, I decided to head to my quarters for a little while. I then went into my room to gain the skills I needed earlier, I played Shadow of War for the first hour, spent another half hour playing Rising Revengeance, and spent the second half hour gaining [Eagle Vision] and the [Spear of Leonidas]. I then decided to head over to the clan house to socialize, something that I'm horrible at.

As I walked across the bridge, I noticed that there was a lot of commotion coming from the clan house, so I decided to slightly speed up to the clan house. As I got closer, I realized it was the sound of arguing within the house, ignoring the pleas to calm down. The arguing confused me until I opened the door to the hall and walked inside the giant living space. There I saw Rias and her peerage on one side of the room arguing with everyone in my peerage on the other side of the room.

Behind my peerage were actually the three fallen angels I recruited this morning, and then I realized what's going on. The devils were obviously pissed about the fallen angels being here and my peerage were standing between the two factions to ensure nothing bad happens. At the same time, everyone who wasn't in a peerage was in the middle of the room telling the two sides to calm down.

I merely stood in the entryway before getting annoyed and summoning [Shield of the Just] and [Mace of the Fierce]. Then I banged the mace against the shield to create enough noise to fill the room. Everyone stopped yelling at each other and turned to look at me, who then dismissed my weapons.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked everyone before noticing Asia was in the middle of everyone, on the brink of crying. "Also, please be civil."

"The fallen angels are here and your peerage is defending them!" Issei shouted, with his sacred gear on his arm. "They killed Asia!"

"I said I'm sorry!" Raynare shouted from behind Rak, who was in his tall form. "I'll even become Asia's maid if that makes up for it!"

"Alright, that was somewhat useless." I admitted before locking eyes with a certain calm huntress. "Blake, can you explain what's going on?"

"Sure, the three 'Fallen Angels' walked in and Rias' peerage suddenly got into a fit of rage." Blake explained, gesturing towards the devils before gesturing towards my peerage. "You peerage got between the two and started arguing. Things eventually started heating up so we had to get involved to make sure they didn't kill each other."

"Thank you." I thanked the girl, who nodded in response. "Asia, what's your opinion on all this?"

"I just want everyone to stop arguing and shouting." Asia's eyes were holding back tears as she said this.

"Alright, Ruby, you take Asia and head to the kitchen, I'm gonna use my adult words." I pointed my thumb behind me and Ruby took Asia's hand and calmly walked to the kitchen and I waited for them to leave before sighing and talking. "Alright, the fuck is wrong with you guys?"

"Wait, don't tell me you recruited them!" Rias pointed at the fallen angels as I walked between the two factions.

"Yes I recruited them as 'Captured Pieces', and they'll all receive a punishment for their crimes." I calmly stated as the devils gazed at me in shock. "Rias, remember our little promise we made when we were little?"

"Yes..." Rias' angry expression dropped as she said this, remembering our deal. "What about it?"

"No one in my peerage has an advantage on devils, so I had to recruit the fallen angels for their light spears." I explained before thinking of punishments for the fallen. "Also, what did Mittelt and Kalawarner do again?"

"We just helped Raynare, that's pretty much it." Kalawarner answered honestly as she leaned against the wall.

"Alright, Raynare has to pretty much be Asia's servant for a month, and Kalawarner and Mittelt have to do everything around the house for a month." I came up, looking to the devil for confirmation. "Is that satisfactory?"

"How about making them read 177013?" Issei commented, causing absolute silence to stir the room.

"Okay man, what the actual fuck?" I asked Issei, who was now getting disgusted glares from everyone in the room.

"Look, I'm kind of the villain of the group, but I'd never do that." Khun commented, before Koneko karate chopped Issei.

"That's fucked up dude." Kaminari added before Mineta walked up to Issei.

"I'm disappointed you didn't make them take off their clothes right here and now." Mineta then proceeds to cry while gripping Issei's pant leg.

"Also, anyone who knows what it is, NEVER LOOK IT UP!" I warned everyone, including the audience.

"(Y/N), what did we say about breaking the fourth wall?" Ichigo asked, which I bowed my head in response.

"Well, this time it was an emergency so it's cool, right?" I asked, before the devils all sighed and left the room, presumably to head to their own quarters.

Them leaving left the room in an awkward state of silence, with the fallen angels feeling somewhat responsible. No one said anything for fear of causing another fight, so everyone so everyone just stared at each other in silence before Asia walked back in with Ruby in tow.

"I'm sorry for all the trouble I'm causing you!" Asia bowed apologetically, while Ruby went to my side.

"No, it's my fault." Raynare comforts Asia by walking over to the girl and hugging her, surprisingly. "I should have never harmed you, if I never did, you would never have to suffer with the fact of being a devil."

"Actually, none of this is either of your guys' your fault, it's more that bitch Xiaochen's fault." Kalawarner then proceeds to walk over to the couch and take a seat, before I heard an audible groan from Mori.

"You mean Manduk's here?!" Mori whined, sounding more annoyed than scared. "That guy's a prick!"

"Wait, you know who she's talking about?" Weiss asked curiously, crossing her arms in the process.

"She's a member of NOX." Dawei answered with an annoyed sigh. "They're a cult of people who basically do whatever they want. As for Manduk, he's just some entitled idiot who can make swords fall from the sky."

"I wanna do that..." I commented, wanting to become Gilgamesh from FGO, but my power doesn't work on games like that.

"Dude, that's unnecessarily overpowered right now." Jihan commented on my dream. "I'll only teach you telekinesis after we encounter something that requires that kind of firepower."

"Well unlike you and Sung, my skills don't get stronger, they're a set level." I told the golden General, who rolled his eyes jokingly.

"Alright, so aside from (Y/N) wanting to become the unholy combination between Hallyang Seo and Gilgamesh, anything else worth noting?" Nami asked everyone in the room, causing Mittlet to raise her hand. "Yes Mit?"

"They weren't alone, they also had some girl named Rachel with them and a representative from Giga." Mittlet informed us, causing Ethan and Endorsi to groan.

"Fuck." Khun angirly bit his thumb nail while I covered Ruby's ears and Ren covered Asia's.

"Well I guess everyone of our enemies are coming after our asses." Dark sarcastically said before staring at me, John, Sera, Sung, Jihan, and Shiyeon. "Do any of you guys have any rival organizations worth noting about?"

"No one that's still alive." Jihan answered bluntly, while Shiyeon nodded with him.

"Well there's King Prick, Remi, Elaine, Isen, and Blyke." John listed off literally everyone from his old school, except for Sera.

"John, those are just the royals and Elaine, we go to the same school as them still." Sera corrected before naming her actual enemies. "There are two organizations, Ember and one other one. Ember puts down vigilantes and the other one removes people's abilities."

"My only real rival is some dumbass in America." Sung admits with a shrug of his shoulders.

"There was that one nymph that stole my bike when I was ten, does that count?" I joke before noticing all of the annoyed stares coming my way. "Fine, I don't know who they are, but there's some organization out there trying to kill me in particular, never understanding why to be honest. They were obsessed with killing me so much, that they were solely focused on doing it before I developed some kind of power."

"Sera, (Y/N), what can you tell us about these organizations?" Uryu asked like he was interrogating us, which he kind of was. "Any information would be useful."

"Well, Ember only attacks vigilantes so they shouldn't be too much of a threat to us. However they have ability enhancing drugs that they could use, and that's all I know about them." Seraphian explains before gripping her chest and looking down. "As for the other group, I don't know who they are, but they track down people with powerful abilities and inject them with a drug that can take away their ability. I only got lucky it was a prototype, and that the effects wore off after a couple months."

"As for my group, I have no information on them." I admitted solemnly, disappointed in myself for letting everyone down. "So I have no information on them other than the fact that they could attack any time."

"That's not true." Yang stated, catching me off guard. "Tell them the reason why you have to spend your summers in Ryujin's palace."

"Alright, but that story only explains one member." I then rubbed the back of my neck and began the tale. "Back when me and Yang were six and Ruby was four, we were playing in an open field while members from both my parents' peerage watched over us and the rest of the peerage was at Tai's house with their masters. The exact pieces that were guarding us were the seven ninja swordsmen from my mother's peerage and Kars from my father's. We kept on playing until some figure showed up out of nowhere and tried to kill me using a knife made of red crystal, but Kars blocked the blow and told us to run and get the rest of the peerage. We ran back to the house to get everyone else, after we did that, we returned to the clearing to see the swordsmen were on the brink of collapsing and even Kars was having trouble standing up, while the other guy wasn't nearly as injured as they were. They managed to kill the man, but we didn't get information on him until weeks later. Apparently he was there to kill me before I started developing 'traits'. Both my parents were worried, so they only allowed me to live on land during the school year after placing several charms and enchantments on the house. During the summer, I have to go live at the palace of Ryujin so the full peerages of my father, mother, and grandfather can protect me."

"A red crystal knife..." Pyrrha repeated under her breath. "Sounds familiar, but I can't put my finger on it."

"In any case, if an opponent has managed to fend off Kars and the seven swordsmen, then we should hope he doesn't have allies as strong as he is." Uryu finishes.

After talking about that, everyone began making plans should the worse come to happen, mainly by coming up with battle positions for the house. However, we couldn't make many plans because everyone except for me, Jihan, and Sung got tired. I guess we were immune to getting tired because of our gamer abilities, which is helpful in most situations.

The three of us kept on discussing more about the possible back-up plans, with our agreements finally settling on Jihan being able to add golem factories and towers around the property, so long as they can't be seen. Thankfully, I could help by building more sentries around the property, but the only issue would be metal. Sung came up with an idea, magic crystal sentries. We kept on talking until we finished and the two fixed their eyes onto me.

"What?" I asked the duo, both of whom nodded at each other.

"(Y/N), I think it's about time you take this seriously." Sung advised, while Jihan nodded in agreement. "Your growth is slow compared to us, and you haven't even decided on a legitimate class you want to focus on."

"I understand where you're coming from, so how do you guys think I should start?" I asked the duo, causing Jihan to start talking.

"I'll help you out by creating I.D.s to help you level up." Jihan offered, earning a nod of understanding from me. "However, you should learn what class you wanna be. Like I'm a sorcerer, Sung's an assassin/shadow monarch."

"Oh, I already decided on a class a long time ago."  I admitted, catching everyone off guard. "I'm going to be a class that focuses on using my inventory to out maneuver my opponents. However, I wasn't kidding about somehow mimicking Gilgamesh, is there a class like that?"

"No idea, but I never know Shadow Monarch was a thing, so I guess anything goes." Sig exhales heavily and leaned against the couch with his hands behind his head. "Either way, I recommend you gain all of the other items and abilities you can tonight, because after tomorrow, we're gonna train you so much you're not gonna play a single game."

"Well that sucks, but I can't say I'm shocked." I then get up from my seat and look the two of them in the eye. "Don't worry, I will get stronger. Not just for my sake, for everyone's."

I then proceed to walk out of the clan house and into my quarters, already having two games from my childhood in my mind. These two games will be the last games I play for the rest of this adventure, from here on, it's all business. So I figured, 'why not play the games that started all of this'. After reaching my quarters, I walked into my room and pulled out the two games from my childhood.

Kingdom Hearts and Scribblenauts, the two games that started it all. Then I turned on the console and began playing...

New Items!

Key Blade
Rank: S
Desc: Key Blades are weapons of light that are incredibly effective against devils, grimm, and other dark beings. While this weapon may not be the best in close quarters, it's effectiveness as a magic tool is invaluable. While holding this weapon, the user can use [Fire],[Blizzard], [Thunder], [Cure], [Aero], [Gravity], [Stop], [Magnet], [Reflect], [Water], and their upgraded forms.

Notebook
Rank: S+
Desc: This item is more of a tool than a weapon, but like the globe, it can't be damaged in any way. By writing something down in this notebook, the user can create whatever they want with whatever adjectives they want. They can also app,y adjectives to other objects to either buff them or nerf them. However, it's still a notebook and the user has to write what they want, or it won't work. Another weakness is that it can't create anything too specific, it only creates the most basic version of that object.

Globe
Rank: S+
Desc: This is another tool, but this one is a lot more simple than the notebook. The user can teleport to whatever location they were at, and bring along anyone they're in contact with. Though it needs a five min cool down between uses, the globe is still useful and can not be damaged or destroyed.

(Timeskip, brought to you by Ruby questioning why your newest Arsenal is a giant key, a notebook, and a globe)

I was now walking by the same place I found Yoshino the other day, sneaking past the caution tape as I walked towards the rubble. It was raining obviously, signaling either the sky is worried for Yoshino or Susanoo just has this weird thing for making my life over dramatic, even though he's that one uncle I hardly know at family gatherings.

As I walked around the rubble, I saw a familiar green hoodie waddling around in the rubble. Yoshino was looking for something, not doing a good job, but she's trying. I then walked up to the girl, who noticed me and was about to leap back. I quickly raised my hands to signal that I have no ill intention, allowing Yoshino to relax.

"I'm sorry about Yoshinon." I apologized to the girl, who stared at me with a curious look in her eyes. "To make it up to you, would you like for me to help you?"

"...Y-Yes..." Yoshino meekly answered before covering her face with her hood.

"Alright, now I just need to use a skill." I then put my hand on Yoshino's head, giving her a head pat before using a skill. "Use skill: [Wraith World]."

The world around me suddenly turned a blank and boring gray, allowing me to focus on the few colors around me. I looked at my hand, which I now removed from Yoshino's head, and it was covered in a (f/c) aura like the rest of my body. Yoshino on the other hand was a mint color, contrasting the bleak gray behind her. I looked at the ground to see mint-colored footprints leading to the ruined building from the other day.

I briefly questioned when the building was destroyed, but I shrugged it off before following the footsteps inside. I heard light footsteps coming from behind me, and so didn't need to guess that Yoshino was following behind me. I could tell she was having trouble keeping up, so I offered my hand to her. As I held out my hand, Yoshino looked at it before grabbing it, allowing us to continue walking.

The two of us kept on walking until we finally reached the end of the footprints, and I deactivated [Wraith World] and stopped. Yoshino looked at me in confusion before letting go of my hand and allowing me to dig through the rubble in front of us. I moved a rock to the side to see a note.

This looks like the Hermit's puppet, so I'm taking it hostage. In the meantime, I want some answers Mr.(L/N), meet me at my house if you want back.
-Origami Tobiichi

"Mother fu-." I said to myself before realizing Yoshino was looking over my shoulder and at the note. "Mother trucker."

I then let out an audible sigh before hearing an audible growl, the source of which was coming from behind me. I looked over my shoulder to see Yoshino, red faced. That's when I realized that her stomach was the source of the growling.

"You hungry?" I asked the girl, who looked at me before giving an answer.

"...Y-Yes..." Yoshino stuttered, while I just remembered that Ren should be back home.

"C'mon, I'll carry you." I then turned my back to her and got on one knee to allow her to get on my back. "I have a skill that can get us there in no time."

Yoshino then got on my back, wrapping her small arms around my neck so as to not fall off. I then grabbed her hand with one hand for reassurance before running down the streets to activate a new skill, [Elven Agility]. My whole body started becoming covered in a (f/c) aura as my speed suddenly increased tremendously and I left behind a (f/c) light trail behind me.

(Timeskip, brought to you by Sujin running around the clan base with four tires dragging behind her)

Me and Yoshino arrived at the front gates of the estate and stopped. I let Yoshino off my back and still held onto her hand, then I opened the gates of the property to reveal the familiar clan house that was linked to another, smaller house by a bridge. I then proceeded to lead Yoshino inside the clan house, with the destination in mind being the kitchen.

The two of us passed through the building to the kitchen, finding that the kitchen already had some people in it. At the fridge stood Tohka, at the sink was Kiba, and team RWBY was at the dining table not too far away.

"Hi (Y/N)!" Ruby waved at me along with the rest of her, causing me to do the same. "Who's that?"

"This is Yoshino, a friend of mine who's hungry." I introduced the small spirit, who then proceeded to hide behind me like a child would with their parents.

"You're gonna try cooking?" Yang asked with an amused grin. "This ought to be interesting."

"Why is that?" Kiba asked as he proceeded to dry his hands.

"Last time (Y/N) cooked, he burnt my drink." Yang told everyone, causing me to turn red from embarrassment. "For the record, that was two months ago."

"Yang, I thought we agreed never to mention that incident again." I whined at the blonde, gaining a light giggle from Yoshino.

"Well, (Y/N), I suppose I owe you one." Kiba admits before handing me a piece of paper. "This is a recipe for a simple soup, easy enough?"

"BRAKA MORAGA!" I jokingly shout in response before politely handing Kiba back to Kiba. "German scienc- I mean video game cooking is the world's finest!"

"Were you about to say German Science?!" Weiss asked, but all of us completely ignored her as I immediately began cooking.

I decided to settle on a dish that doesn't revolve around fish and it's somewhat liked by almost everyone. While I cooked, I was completely unaware I was actually using a skill this entire time. I believe the skill allows me to perfectly recreate any dish from FFXV, so long as I have the resources to do so. As a bonus, I can also recreate the enchantments and buffs the dish would normally give in-game. I noticed everyone's eyes were eagerly on me, while team RWBY was with Yoshino, playing a board game with her. As the dish was in the oven, I looked over at Tohka, who was eating some stored chocolates like there was no tomorrow.

Menu of the King
Passive
Desc: Menu of the King is a passive skill that allows the user to recreate any dish they've seen in a certain video game. The dishes the user makes will also contain their various enchantments, making them exact copies.

"Hey Tohka, mind clearing some things up for me?" I asked the girl as she stopped eating and looked directly at me.

"Sure, what is it?" Tohka asked with her mouth full, allowing me to roll my eyes.

"I accidentally got into this whole mess without knowing crap." I admitted while staring at the table, watching Ruby explain the rules to Yoshino. "Let's start with why you were on the ship earlier."

"Oh, Shido sealed away my powers by orders of Ratatoskr and I've been helping them ever since." Tohka explained before closing the fridge and swallowing the chocolate.  "There is a group of people whose goal it is to kill spirits like me and Yoshino, that's why Shido or someone else has to seal off our powers. So those people won't hunt us down."

"Well that's dumb, hunting someone down based on who they are." I comment, surprising Tohka. "You know what, maybe I should make it a personal goal to gather all....what are you again?"

"I'm a spirit." Tohka giggled at my forgetfulness before giving me a small but cute smile. "You're gonna gather all of the spirits and do what, exactly?"

"Isn't it obvious?" I asked Tohka, who looked at me with admiration. "I'll protect all of them."

"I hope you can complete that goal." Tohka hoped with a smile before I heard the oven ding.

"Alright kiddos, guess what, food's done." I then proceeded to take the meal out of the oven before walking over to the table with team RWBY and Yoshino, then I placed the tray on the table. "Behold, a <Crispy Cheese Pizza>, it boosts attack power by 300, allows you to run without using stamina, and makes you immune to poison."

"Are you sure you didn't make a potion instead?" Blake asked while Yoshino slowly took a slice from the pizza and took a small bite out of it. "So how does it taste?"

"It's...good.." Yoshino shyly said before taking another small bite out of it. "T-Thank you."

"Well good job (Y/N), you didn't feed her poison!" Ruby cheered, causing Yoshino's eyes to turn to me in a surprised manner.

"How low are your standards?" Weiss asks the red-hooded girl. "In any case (Y/N), I look forward to trying whatever you make."

"Same here, smells good." Blade adds, allowing me to feel proud of myself for actually learning a useful life skill. "Though you don't have to cook anything right now, I'm fairly certain you'll be stuck helping in the kitchen tonight."

"Oh that reminds me, I need to go somewhere real quick." I told the girls, earning surprised looks in response. "I just need to pick something up, that's all."

"What about me?" Yoshino asks, before Yang wrapped her arm around the girl.

"Don't worry, you get to spend the rest of the day with your Big Sis Yang!" Yang cheerfully reassured, putting on a beaming smile for the girl.

"So where are you going anyways, (Y/N)?" Blake asked, causing me to shrug.

"To over summarize it, I need to head to Paper's house to rescue a friend of mine." I decided to give Origami a little nickname, since her hair is white and she shows no emotion.

"Who names their kid Paper?" Ruby apparently didn't see through my little nickname for Origami, but everyone else understood. "In any case, don't get hurt, (Y/N)."

"I won't, see you guys later!" I waved goodbye before walking out of the kitchen, hoping that Yoshino will stay with the girls until I get back.

As I walked outside, I noticed that the rain let up, and that it was only a light drizzle. I let the soft rain wet my hair before gaining a determined look in my eye and walking to the gates. Once I opened the gates, I activated [Wraith World] after summoning the note from earlier, and looking at the footprints before me. Then I began running in the direction of the footsteps, activating [Elven Sprint] along the footprints' side. Ready to save the puppet, but one question ran through my mind.

Is Yoshinon actually alive or was it really good ventriloquism?

(A/N: I know this was more of a filler chapter, but I still hoped you liked it. In the meantime, you're basically set for now. No more skills until much, MUCH, later. Now the story is going to be focused on getting stronger instead of gaining skills, and getting more connected to the characters, but that's about it. For those of you who are wondering, yes you will basically become Gilgamesh at some point, but that'd be way to OP right now so that's going to wait until the opponents become just as over powered.
