Chapter V: The Prophecy

(Your POV)
"So what's going on, Apollo?"

Since the sudden intrusion of the sun god, my peerage and I went into the main tower. In the tower was an incredibly large table that was able to fit all of us, Arthur included. However, while my peerage sat on one stand of the table, a small group of gods stood on the other side. The gods before us were Apollo, Artemis, Thor, Loki, Odin, Hades, Persephone, Thanatos, and some white haired Valkyrie I've never met before.

"The prophecy of the King, the Empress, and the 69 Warrior is coming true!" Apollo said in a panicked voice, but the rest of us had a different reaction.

"Nice." Jihan said with a clever glint coming from his head.

"Nice." Seraphina commented with crossed arms and a smirk.

"I believe the response to that is...Nice." Kiibo was still new to this 'modern life' thing, so he was trying to fit in.

"Fucken Nice." John Really has to throw that curse word in there didn't he?

"Nice..." I threw my own nice in there for good measure.

"Why are you all saying nice, this is a bad thing!" Apollo shouted whilst Hades held in stifled laughter. "This is a prophecy that could destroy, and I can not stress this enough, EVERYTHING!"

"Yet the name has the number 69 in it." I snickered a bit before getting serious. "So what's the deal with this prophecy, and why the hell did it take you guys so long to get here?"

"Thor lost his hammer again." Loki eyed the orange haired god of thunder. "So we had to look until we found it, and it turns out it was under his bed this entire time."

"Well excuse me not everyone is as prim and perfect as you are Loki." Thor mocked the trickster god, making me roll my eyes. I wish Brahmagupta or Vercingetorix were here, they have more experience in dealing with foreign gods.

"Focus, what is this prophecy anyways?" Hallibel got everyone back on track, she does have that kind of demeanor.

"The prophecy itself is vague, so the real reason it took us a while to get here was to figure out what the prophecy meant." Hades explained, which sounded reasonable. "Apollo, hit it."

To undo the seal of the caged god, fate itself needed the blood of a demigod. So fate raised two demigods to hate each other, a daughter of frost and a son of water. The son of water will kill the daughter of frost in search of the frozen goddess, but the daughter of frost will be revived with the intention of revenge. The son of water will live the rest of his life with regret tinging his heart, constantly becoming different people and living different lives to escape the pain, but fate will force his hand. Eventually, the daughter of frost will become the Empress of the West and the son of water will become King of the East. The two rulers will have an army of 69 warriors that will clash against one another and decide the fate of the war. In the last moments of the war, the King and Empress will clash against one another, one will die in the fight and the other will live with the regret releasing the caged god. The remaining demigod will switch places with the caged god, letting the caged god free and the imprisoning the demigod forever.

"How positive." Yubelluna sweatdropped, completely ruining the ominous feeling of despair Apollo was trying to bring the room into. "Still, we can pinpoint that (Y/N) is the son of water, and Ursula is the daughter of frost."

"I believe we're past that point, but you are correct nonetheless." Ulquiorra began thinking to himself, most likely trying to pinpoint more details. "However, who could be the 69 warriors? There's 39 of us in total without (Y/N)?"

"If you'd like, I can limit it down for you by giving you the names of the other warriors on this side." Apollo offered, which sounded pretty nice of him to do.

"Any chance you can just write it down?" I politely asked, not wanting to listen to the sun god name the other 29 people needed for the prophecy, and I doubt you guys really give a shit, not really sure why y'all are here but I appreciate more than ya'll can ever imagine.

"Sure, But we need to do something about this prophecy anyways." Apollo agreed before changing the subject. "By the way, you know the XV Lords right? Why don't we contact one of them, I'm sure they can send someone to help us. Like Berserker of El Dorado, The Ultimate Soldier, or even the Exalt?"

"Who, who, and who?" I titled my head in confusion, I only knew very few people who went by those titles, Penthesilea, Mukuro Ikusuba, and Chrom. "What about them?"

"They're members of the Xemnas' personal army." Hades must have seen my shocked expression, I had no idea Xemnas had his own army, or is it my own army? "It shouldn't be that surprising, he also went on adventures and made friends, you aren't that special."

"Sorry, it's just surprising to hear something about Xemnas that's actually clear cut." I apologized whilst twirling a bit of my hair. "Is there anything else you can tell me about Xemnas, or even his army?"

"I may have met Xemnas, but I can't say I knew him very well." Hades explained, and I feel as though I have an actual lead to who I once was. "However, he liked his secrets, so he made his troops wear masks when we met up with them. The only thing I do know is that not all of them are from the same time period, and they all have a wide variety of skills."

"I see, thank you for all you've told me." I thanked the god of the underworld before answering Apollo's question. "As for the XV Lords, it's safe to say they're cut off from the rest of us."

"Damn, we could have really used their help because they have experience fighting gods." Artemis scowled a bit, I thought only Xemnas fought the gods, well, the ones who were actually against him. "Even though there weren't many of them, they won."

"Damn, and here I thought Doctor V was just a walking Shitpost." Loki grunted, most likely not knowing the only shitpost in here was the author, who was in the corner writing everything down.

"So (Y/N), what should we do?" Kokushibo seemed anxious to do something, and I was curious as well.

"We should stick to the plan until something develops and we should abandon the plan." I said while using my grandfather's voice, that way I don't appear weak in front of the group of gods. "So who is this white haired Valkyrie?"

"This is Rossweisse, we decided to bring her along as a peace offering and to secure our alliance." Thor informed us, surprising me. "She's a pretty high-ranking Valkyrie, so you having her as a hostage will ensure you see us as your loyal subjects."

"Interesting way of thinking, but what does she have to say about this little predicament?" I asked, turning my attention to Rossweisse. "I'd only accept her if she's on board with the idea as well."

"Thank you for concern lord (Y/N), but I was the one who offered to become the hostage." Rossweisse informed me, which is quite surprising coming from a Valkyrie. "I heard about you through the tournaments and I was amazed by your skill, so I think it would be an honor to work under you."

(In what universe is armor that looks like a swimsuit actually practical?)

"Is that everything?" Sung asked the group of gods, getting a series of nods in response. "Good, now I'd like some intel on this Xemnas guy you mentioned earlier."

"What about him?" Odin seemed slightly scared after Sung mentioned Xemnas, how dangerous was this guy?

"I noticed every single one of your hearts suddenly increased and you all began sweating." Kokushibo pointed out, his vision is great but I didn't think it was that great. "It's almost as if you could contact him, but fear him so much you would rather die than do so."

"Wow, you're pretty observant." Artemis complimented my main knight before explaining. "As for Xemnas...you know how there's other fragments of him and how each of them have a remarkable trait that make them unique?"

"Please elaborate." Valentine requested, she hasn't heard about any of the fragments.

"Okay." Artemis holds three of her fingers up. "There's the [Musician] which has superhuman sensory abilities, [Mana] has overwhelming amounts of mana, and [Coyote] has all the abilities of a trickster god."

"Okay, so what about them?" Jihan asked, didn't he actually train under one of the fragments?

"Xemnas has every single of their powers, along with yours, and more." Persephone anounced, shocking everyone in the room. "It's gotten to the point he's able to resurrect the dead, with a couple of exceptions that had their souls devoured by an unknown enitity, but Xemnas managed to repair their bodies and currently have them in some sort of treatment bay."

"So what, dragon and evil pieces can revive people no problem." I wasn't too impressed with the whole resurrection thing, and I have no idea how strong the other fragments are. "So how strong are these fragments?"

"Well the Dragon breathes flames hot enough to melt an entire city with one breath, Fool took out an entire army without a body, and Bookkeeper can control the genetics of several entire species." Apollo read this from a sticky note that was in his pocket, who names their kid 'Fool'? "Need I go on?"

"No, we get it..." I bit my thumb nail, my biggest concern is trying to figure out how someone like that managed to die in the first place. "How did he die anyways? Did someone kill him or was it that 'bored with life' BS?"

"Someone killed him." Odin announced, which made me worried, but maybe they're dead too. "For the record, we're now fighting the same guy killed him."

"FUCK ME!" I slammed my hands on the table, obviously panicked. "So what's his name?"

"He was our leader at one point, but we don't know his name." Persephone explained, which honestly really isn't helpful. "The only reason why Xemnas managed to defeat him was because he had help from his units, code named the Phantoms, Hopes, Warriors, Servants, and Ships."

"That seems like a weird af group of individuals, but I ain't one to judge." I scratched the scalp of my head while trying to think. "Say, how strong are these guys?"

"They have so much experience they are counted as a pantheon in their own right, and it's hard to predict who's in there because Xemnas had the same you do." Hades explained with an annoyed sigh. "He had another group marked: Victims of the Soul Devourer, and it consists of the swordsman he rescued. He has no idea who managed to devour the souls, and he even managed to develop a skill to supposedly steal back their souls before he died. Though he never did get to test it."

"Is there any way we can contact them?" I pleaded, having their support would be beneficial. "I know Xemnas and the other XV Lords fought the western gods before, so their experience would be beneficial."

"Now explain how and why we would have contact with these people?" Hades asked with a cocked eyebrow and crossed arms. "We were at war with them for a while."

"I have one of their numbers, the Friend of Red Jenny I think her name was." Artemis pulled out a normal looking phone. "She's a bit on the aggressive side, but she gets the job done."

"Wait a minute, are all these people from games?" I asked, confusing everyone. "Everyone you just described is from a game of some sorts, so did this fucker bring video game characters to life?"

"Isn't that what you do?" Sora asked, but I'm special because it's what makes me different from all the other fragments.

"Sora, I like to feel special, so let me have at least one unique power to me." I sweatdropped pathetically before the door to the room suddenly burst open, revealing a very impatient Goku.

"Hey (Y/N), when are you going to fight?!" Goku demanded, and I saw Judge Q and O trying to hold him back without using their charyeoks.

"For the love of-" I cut myself off before sighing and turning my attention to Goku. "Fine, Goku and I will have a duel tomorrow at noon, I'll get one of my robots to prepare a room for the gods' stay, and I need to greet my kids from High School, so adios!"

"He's a father?" Hades asked as I left the room, leaving my peerage members and gods alone in the room.

"They're adopted." Khun explained before dispersing along with the rest of my peerage members.

(Time skip, brought to you by fog blocking out the screen and two shadowy figures walking through the mist)

I was currently walking along the bridge above a rather large pond, looking out at the waterfall that was filling the pond with water. I was taking this moment to clear my head, reminding myself that I'm still alive and that I have flaws. I looked at the waterfall while leaning on the side of the rope bridge, which somehow never broke. Apparently anything I pull out of video games never break unless they've been programmed to break, it's pretty odd if you ask me. However, I just couldn't shake off the feeling I was being watched. I used my superior eye sight to look around me, but I couldn't find anyone.

"Whoever is here come out and show yourself." I demanded in a deep and commanding voice, one that suited a ruler, causing some weird entity to appear from the rope. "What the hell?"

"Impressive, I'm amazed you were able to figure out that you were being watched." A pink haired individual who looked like a fashion disaster walked towards me.

"Mind informing me why you've been keeping an eye on me?" I activated [Hakuryuu] to show I'm not messing around, showing off the white claw my hand turned into. "If you don't, I'll have no choice but to terminate you."

"We were told to evaluate your strength, so let's see what you got." The random guy got into a stance with the weird entity disappearing, it must be a stand. "For the record, my name is Anasui and my stand is Diver Down."

"Out of respect for you, I shall tell you my name, my name is (Y/N) (L/N) and my stand is Joker Requiem." I summoned [Rebellion] in my other hand. "So you said 'we', yet I only see you?"

"That's because Weather Report, Airi, Boruto, Kazui, Fronie, and Ichika are just getting here." Anasui informed me, causing me to dodge a lightning bolt from above. "Oh look, they're here."

I quickly threw [Rebellion] at whoever was behind me before ducking underneath a sword swing. I looked at the source of the sword swing and noticed it was some guy who looked almost exactly like Ichigo, but different in a way. I punched the boy away, but he slid across the sky like he was standing on it. I was quickly met with a fist coming towards my face, so I used [Mizu Mizu no Mi] to turn my body into water and let the fist splash through me. Surprisingly, the person who punched me was someone who looked like a female version of Luffy.

"You honestly think you can last against a king?" I used [Gates of Babylon] and aimed it towards the other side of the bridge, where a bunch of people were watching in amazement. "Let me show you the definition of the word...king."

Weapons launched themselves at my group at opponents, but I was caught off guard by another girl who looked like a genderbent Issei summoning a crimson shield, somehow managing to block all of the weapons. I used [Full Counter] on a lightning bolt that was heading my way to redirect towards Anasui, who was caught off guard by this. Lucky for him, another guy wearing a fashion atrocity stepped in front of the lighting and made it disappear.

"Thanks, Weather Report, this guy is tough." Anasui thanked the man before summoning his stand. "Do me a favor and summon some mist, I have an idea."

With that said, the newly summoned Weather Report seemingly created mist, causing me to cross my arms in annoyance whilst waiting for these guys to come towards me. I was able to sense four individuals moving through the mist before Diver Down came flying at me from the side. In a brief moment, I summoned [Uriel] to shoot at Diver Down before using [Ariel] to shoot at the other moving targets. That guy Weather Report sent a slab of water towards me at barreling speeds, so I decided to use [Uriel] to absorb the water. From [Ariel], came forth a mighty wave of flames, allowing me to incinerate whoever was behind me.

"Fronie, now!" A female voice was heard, and the flames didn't burn wherever was behind me, they enhanced the girl who was behind me, and Fronie was that girl who looked like a genderbent Luffy.

Fronie turned her lower half into flames like a rocket before propelling herself into the sky, then a large ball of flames appeared above her. I realized that this girl had a fire type devil fruit, so I smirked and dismissed all my currently equipped weapons to summon [Herrit] instead. I shot purple arrows made of energy all around me before Fronie sent a massive orb of fire towards me all at once.

"Use skill: [Quicksilver]!" I shouted, causing everything around me to freeze in place, for I have just frozen time, fear me bitches. "I wish I could have said 'Za Warudo', but that wouldn't work."

I figured I'd walk away from the bridge but I decided to toss a couple grenades over to Anasui and Weather Report before I walked. I decided to walk behind the small group of people that were at the end of the bridge before deactivating [Quicksilver]. Almost instantly, some blonde kid who looked kind of like Naruto used a skinny sword to slash at my chest. However, I merely back stepped and used [Falcon Punch] to punch the blonde kid over to Anasui and Weather Report, who couldn't react to the grenades in time.

"Boruto you idiot!" A red haired girl shouted before pulling out a katana and attempting to strike me with it, and I was actually cautious about this girl, she looked serious. "Airi, Crimson Empress!"

A crimson beam shot from behind the girl with red hair, who I'm gonna assume is named Ichika because she's the only person who's name I don't know. I managed to use [Full Counter] on the crimson beam with my clawed finger. I managed to reflect the laser back to Airi, but it allowed Ichika to come at me along with Kazui. I dismissed [Herrit] and summoned [Shield of the Just] to block both of their sword swings. By using one hand to block their strikes, I managed to use my other hand to summon [Rhitta], quickly slashing at the swordsmen before blocking another hit from Diver Down.

"This is getting ridiculous, maybe I should go all out." I calmly dismiss my axe and shield to summon [Watatsumi], shortly before using [Susanoo] to summon his mask over my face. "Use personal attribute, Black Beard: [Dead Man's Warning]."

A black mist covered the area, a mist that only I could see through, Weather Report tried summoning wind to blow the mist away, but the mist lingered in the area. I used [Elven Sprint] to cover myself in a (f/c) light while dashing around my opponent's. Airi, Fronie, Kazui, and Ichika were on their own. Anasui, Weather Report, and Boruto were still on the bridge, so I decided to use [Gates of Babylon: Explosive Variant] to summon rocket launchers and grenade launchers in the direction of the larger group. With a snap of my fingers, all the rockets and grenades were sent towards them, allowing me to focus on Boruto, Anasui, and Weather Report.

I attempted a slash at Anasui, but he was pulled out of the way by Weather Report, but Boruto tried blocking my slash. In case you didn't know, a flimsy piece of iron getting hit with the force of all the water in the world isn't gonna end up pretty well for any party. Boruto's sword was completely cut in half without so much as a fight, surprising Boruto, and allowing me to give a smirk underneath my mask. That was until I heard a new voice enter the playing field.

"How's it goin', Rojin." This voice was coming from a guy who looked kind of like Roxas, but he had my hair color and wielded two key blades. "You have no idea who I am, so just call me Zeno."

"Oh great, someone else." I dismissed the mist and was rather surprised to find the other ground of intruders were perfectly safe, and Zeno was standing between them and I. "You managed to deflect all those explosives?"

"Yep!" Zeno looked rather proud of himself, not that I blame him, that's pretty impressive. "By the way, I was told to intervene when you get serious, and just get my boys the fuck out of here."

"I would like to know how you guys are here in the first place." I dismissed [Watatsumi] and my hollow mask. "I have dragons all over the place, so the fact that you guys managed to sneak in here without getting burned, poisoned, or all of the above is surprising."

"That's an easy question, I'm part dragon myself." Zeno explained before he sheathed both his keyblades to turn his arm into a white dragon's claw, just like my [Hakuryuu]. "They did the same thing they did to you, recognized my superiority and bowed before me."

"Alright, last question, why are you here?" I crossed my arms and glared, desperate to know the answer.

"We were gonna try and prevent you from going to war, but that failed spectacularly." Zeno sighed and rubbed the back of his neck with his normal hand. "So now we're here to figure out how strong you are, and tell you something; This is the war where you die."

"How do you know that?" Now I was intrigued, nothing can kill an Ouryuu unless they manage to nullify the powers, and only Nicholas has the power of Absolute Null.

"Oops, looks like I spilled the beans eh?" Zeno played it off like a mistake before a pillar of flames engulfed everyone except Zeno and I, quickly dispersing to reveal the people were gone. "All you need to know is that in a couple days, you will die, so live your best life until then, Rojin."

A pillar of flames erupted around Zeno before disappearing once again, yet the power looked eerily familiar to me. I quickly realized that they were transported using Lillith's siren abilities from Borderlands, the ability to seemingly teleport. I forgot the exact name, but it was used exactly this way in Borderlands 3, so something is really up. Not only is there some guy who's named after my father going around who knows about the future, but also someone who can use abilities from video games like myself. That aside, I'm going to need to up my security game and start looking for answers. Hades did mention Xemnas originally had a team of people he worked with, maybe I can contact them for help on the matter? Or maybe another fragment, one who actually exists at the same time as I do?

Damn, life's getting a lot more complicated nowadays isn't it?

(A/N: Now this is the point where all the fragments are going to start being relevant, I'll list them out to help you keep track if that helps. Speaking of the fragments, two books are currently in the works Akame Ga Kill (Musician's) and Konosuba (Dragon's). By the way, I will be including Megumin and Yunyun in the harem, but they will actually be around 18 so I don't have to worry about the FBI. Not sure if I should release them now with 1 chapter or wait until I get 3 done, let me know what you guys think.
