She pushed him away with her elbows and raised her sword. But he picked his sword quickly and defended himself with a smirk.

"Uyarthi vitteergal.. innum enna thayakkam?"

He asked her with a same smirk, raising his eyebrows. She gulped.

"Vitt..vittu vidungal.. adhuve thangalukku nangaakum"

(Leave me... it'll be good for you)

She said, trembling a little.

"Adhanayum kaanbom ilavarasi.. vaarungal.. sandai idungal ennudan.. kaapaatri kollunga thangalin maan.."

She rose again before he could finish, and the swords between them moved for a few raises before stopping when Seervizhi glared at him. Her friends looked at them with a fear.

He swung his sword back into its scabbard. Her friends too gasped, seeing their friend and Princess's situation.

Devan leaned back against the tree and smirked, crossing his arms below his chest.

Seervizhi's anger got raised for the first time in her life. She opened her feary eyes hearing his next words, 

"Sandai puriyungal ilavarasi.. naan dhaan koorinen allavaa.. thangalai naan enna vendum aanaalum.."

(Fight with me Princess.. I have told you before itself right? I can do anything..)

She ragedly turned and raised her sword in rage. He came to an abrupt stop with his sword, and they fought again, twisting and twirling. Their gasps, sword scrapings, and breathings had heard all over the forest.

"Angu paar"

(See there)

He attempted to divert her attention, but she was intent on defeating him. She scraped the sword against his arrow belt as she raised it with a sound. It fell, but neither she nor he stopped.

Her heavy visible cleavage, her milky skin over her uncovered areas, her exposed perfect shaped navel and her slightly parted lips with her heavy breath made him erect for the first time in his life. But he admired her magnificent fighting skills without becoming distracted.

When she saw him looking at her and becoming lost in her, she smirked and raised her sword and pushed him with it. He began to fall back, but she grasped his wrist before he hit the small pond nearby.

He looked at her with a smile. While she panted hard.

"Vendru vitteergal polum?"

(Looks like you won?)

"Illlai.. ini dhaan.."

(Not exactly)

He frowned while she smiled and attacked his sword with her, unfortunately, her motive equaled his as both of their swords fell on the ground. She looked at him with an open mouth and an unbelievable look.

"Naan.."

(I..)

He smirked and drew her closer to him. She shrieked as both of them crashed into the pond. He encircled her waist, and she stared into his eyes without blinking. He smiled as they both swam up and exhaled.

His palms were on her arms, while hers were on his chest. He lifted his hand to tuck her hair strands behind her ears.

"Vetri petradhu yaar, Vizhi?"

(Who won the fight, Vizhi?)

She looked him directly in the eyes.

The rays of sunlight through the leaf holes landed right on his simple pearl necklace with a sun-stroked dollar.

She squinted at its reflection and shifted her gaze to face him, who was beaming at her through his covered black cloth.

"Vizhi'galai ivvaaru surukkinaal enna vendru naan eduthu kolvadhu, Ilavarasi?"

(What did I even take from seeing you narrow your eyes like this, Princess?)

She gulped, pushed him by his chest, and climbed up the pond, fully drenched.

He climbed after her, and she turned back to see him who was ruffling his hair and adjusting his mask.

"Ilav.."

(Prin..)

"Naam purappadalaam"

She told her friends and Valli hurried towards her, covering her with her sari. They then started to leave.

He smiled, seeing her and walked away, collecting his arrow belts and both of their swords.

Seervizhi and her friends peeked out from behind the tree and Seervizhi glowed by seeing him.

"Enna Ilavarasi appadi paarkireergal?"

(what princess? Why are you seeing him like this?)

Valli asked.

"Adhaane.. enna vaayitru Seervizhi?"

(Yeah.. what happened Seervizhi?)

Another one asked.

"Mchh.. amaidhiyaaga irungal"

Seervizhi shushed them, still staring him with a smile.

"Enna seigiraai Seervizhi? Yen avanai ivvaaru paarkiraai?"

(What are you doing Seervizhi? Why are you looking at him like this?)

"Mch.. en SooriyaDevan'ai naan kaangiren.. thangalukku enna vandhadhu.. amaidhiyaaga irungal.. illai.. ingirundhu sellungal.."

She said to them annoyly by turning her face slightly towards them. And turned straight again to look at him who was ruffling his hairs. Her friends looked each other, narrowing their eyebrows.

"SooriyaDevan aah?"

Valli somehow understood their Princess's state and grinned at her.

"Enna ilavarasi.. ippadi irangi vitteergal?"

Seervizhi turned towards them and leaned herself on the back, closing her eyes. His playful words, intense gaze, roaming eyes and that sun-stroked dollar made her blush and shook her head before opening her eyes.

"Enna'vaayitru ilavarasi?"

Her friends chorused again.

She said and chuckled, palming her face in blush. Her friends ohhed at her teasingly.

Flashback ends

Both of their eyes were filled with tears, but their lips had a constant smile.

He denied hurriedly but she smiled at him.

He kneeled down before her.

He stopped her palming her mouth and nodding his head as no. She blinked her teary eyes and took off his palm from her mouth and said..,
