She pouted.

Anbazhagi pinned the purple stoned Maang tikka in her head matching to her attire and placed it on her hair partition.

Seervizhi hummed and walked ahead as Anbazhagi walked behind her after closing the chamber's door.

After getting the blessings from the elders, Anbazhagi again made her move towards the chamber and placed the milk tumbler on her palm.

She hummed and left inside their chamber, placed the tumbler on the side table, and sat on the bed, caressing the flowers that were hanging down from the bed curtains.

She smiled seeing it and continued to caress and admire it.

Within another five minutes, Anushman came inside and she got jerked and hid her face with her veil like how Yezhisaiyarasi taught her.

He smiled and locked the door and walked silently towards the bathing area.

She looked at him through the veil and frowned.

A few minutes later, he came out wearing a long white purple kurti and sat in front of her on the bed. She blushed, lowering her head when he lifted the veil off her face and placed it on her head.

He smiled and leaned towards her face and pecked her forehead. She closed her eyes and fisted her palms. Then he leaned back and took her fists inside his palms.

"Seervizhi"

She hummed as she looked at his palms, which were large enough to fit her entire hand inside his.

"Ennai nimirndhu paarka maataayaa?"

(Won't you look up at me?)

He asked by rubbing her knuckles with his thumbs.

"Illai il..ilavarasae.. adhu.. thaayaar.. angu iruppadhu pola ellorodum pesi siruthu irukka angum ingum odi kondu irukka koodaadhu.. siridhaavadhu naanam, maanam, achathai valarthu kol ena koorinaar adhaan.."

She said lowly and dragged. While he laughed out loud and cupped her left cheek.

She lifted her face and looked at him smiling.

He smiled back and leaned closer to her. She closed her eyes and fisted her palms which was inside his other palm.

He kissed her eyes, nose, cheeks and leaned towards her lips. She wriggled feeling a hot breath of him and turned her face away from him with a heavy breathe.

"En..enna seigireergal?"

(What are you doing?)

"Yen naan unakku mutham thara koodaadhaa?"

(Why? Shouldn't I kiss you?)

"Naan naan.. adhu.. thaangal enakku yaar?Enakku yen thaangal m..

He smiled and moved back cupping her small face with his big palms.

She whined pouting. He chuckled and adjusted himself closer to her.

He thought seeing their palms. She smiled admiring him.

He looked at her suddenly. She averted her gaze down, gulping. He smirked before clearing his throat. She shut her eyes after being caught by him. But he smiled and continued..

She said cutely bobbing her head to all the directions. He chuckled and placed her fisted palms on his cheeks.

He said slowly staring her eyes, expecting for her answer. But there she comes with the another set of questions making him to smile.

She smiled nodded her but pouted and lowered her head. He lifted her chin up with his fingers.

She sheepishly grinned at him. He chuckled and leaned back on the headboard and placed his head on her shoulder. She stiffed.

"Enn..enna seigireergal?"

She smiled.

She asked tilting her head to look at his face. He caught her palm and played with her fingers.

"Mmm.. appadi illai.."

(Mmm.. nothing like that..)

"Pin eppadi?"

(Then how?)

"Naalai kooravaa? Enakku urakkam varugiradhu.."

(Shall I tell you tomorrow? I'm sleepy..)

"Ohh.. seri urangungal"

(Ohh.. okay you sleep)

He hummed and wounded his left arm around her and pulled her towards him by holding her bare waist. She gasped and widened her eyes at his sudden act.

"Il..ilavarasae"

He hummed.

"Il.. Ilavarasae.. en.. enna seigireergal?"

She didn't get any response from him. She looked down at his face, and her lips curved up wide, seeing him sleeping peacefully on her shoulder. She tried hard to release his hold on her, but he pulled her, rested his cheek on her collarbone, and continued to sleep.

She adjusted her shawl over her chest and moved her arm slowly towards his back, but stopped in the midway, rested it on her lap, and closed her eyes shut. She soon fell asleep as well, by giving her mouth and brain some rest. In his deep sleep, he inhaled a breath, hugged her, resting his head on her chest, and gripped her palms securely within his hands.
