Chapter 14💜🦋

Hello😀

Vaanga vaanga story kulla polaa🐎💜🦋

✷●

Adhyayam padhinaangu

Kobam-Palan

(Angry-Outcome)

✷●

Kayarkodi stopped at the doorstep, hearing the voice of Anushman saying,

Sennel kadhirin kuvaliyodu nokkum

Punnai malligai manimagal nalam;

Kaadhalum udanpada'kidandhaal.

(The red earth and the pouring rain,

both are the same.

as is the way of the heart.

when love and heart combine,

(There's no greater joy.)

"Enna nool?"

(Book name?)

He asked in a questioning manner.

"Agananuru"

Seervizhi replied.

"Aasiriyar peyar?"

(Author's name?)

"Nalloor kilaar"

She exclaimed after thinking for a few seconds. He smiled, asking the next question.

"Thinai?"

(Place?)

"Marudham(Refers to an agricultural land)"

"Kootru?"

(Role?)

"Thalaivi"

(Heroine)

She replied with the same excitement, thinking that she'd answered every question correctly. But,

"Vizhi"

When he said her name without asking the next question, she guessed that the answer was wrong. So,

"Thalaivar"

(Hero)

He understood her trick and asked in a teasing manner.

"Appadiyaa?"

(Are you sure?)

She gave him a stealthy look and answered,

"Illai. Thalaivi"

(No, it's the heroine)

He chukled.

"Thalaivan kootru"

(Hero's role)

He gave her the correct answer so she could correct her mistake.

But she being herself.

"Aam. Thalaivan kootru. Naanum adhai thaane koorinen?"

(Yes. I too said it's the hero's role, didn't I?)

She shrugged her shoulders.

"Poi kooraadhey'adi"

(Don't lie, dear.)

He pulled her cheek with a smile.

"Ilavarasae"

(Prince)

The sudden arrival of Kayarkodi made Seervizhi pull up her head from his lap and sit up, and she took her sari from the bed and placed it on her messily.

"Vaarungal, Kayarkodi"

(Come in, Kayarkodi.)

Anushman welcomed her with a smile.

She came inside with Sennila, who was sleeping on her shoulder.

"Thaangal yen idhellaam seigireergal?"

(Why are you doing all this?)

Seervizhi asked worriedly.

"Enadhu vaelai, idhu dhaane?"

(This is my job, isn't it, princess?)

She replied to her with a smile and placed the gold pot of herbal-infused water, which is used to produce steam for inhalation therapy.

"Thaaligai neer. Rajamatha kodukka sonnaar"

(Herbal water. The queen mother asked me to give it.)

She informed them.

"Nandri akka"

(Thanks, sister)

Seervizhi smiled, thanking her.

"Idhu yenadhu vaelai Ilavarasi. Idharku nandri ellaam vendaam."

(This is my job, princess; no need to thank me.)

She straightened up and tightened her hold on Sennila.

"Thangaladhu vaelai aaga irundhaalum seivadhu thaangal dhaane? adharku nandri kooruvadhu engaludaya panbu."

(Even if it's your job, it's you who is doing it, right? It's our pleasure to thank you.)

Anushman smiled upon hearing his little wife's words, and he, too, thanked her, and Kayarkodi left their chamber with Sennila.

Seervizhi smiled at them but gasped when she was yanked closer to her husband with his palm over her waist. She looked at him, who was already staring at her, and then she blushed, lowering her gaze when he cupped her cheek.

"Vizhi"

He called her, reducing the pace of his words and also his voice.

She lifted her eyelids to look at him.

He gazed at her shining, kohled black eyes and her golden nose pin that was attached to her hair above her ear, and her face radiated with the chamber's bright fire torches, which are made of woods soaked in oil, giving a golden glow to their entire chamber.

He thought that he could just see her for his whole eternity without blinking his eyes.

Her eyes are enough for him to live.

And his lips whispered the lines of one of his favourite poems softly,

Enakke noi seidhaal;

(She made me sick;)

He rubbed her soft cheek with his thumb pad.

Enakke noi seidhaal; kannutra

naal mudhalaai yaan

nal inbathillai, pulambi

madiyodu padukken.

(The moment I saw her,

my heart was a thief.

it stole my mind.

and I can't reclaim it.)

She stared into his eyes lovingly before her lips parted in a daze to say,

"Nool: Natrinai, Aasiriyar Peyar: Puliyoorkesigan, Thinai: Paalai"

(Book: Natrinai, Author: Puliyoorkesigan, Place: Desert)

He blinked his eyes and curved his lips before laughing out loud, leaving his hold on her.

She blinked her eyes rapidly and looked at him, narrowing her brows.

"Ilavarasae"

(Prince)

"Ha ha ha."

"Ilavarasae"

(Prince)

She called him again, placing her palm on his thigh. But he continued to laugh, making her pout her lips.

"Sooriyadeva. Nagaipadhai niruthungalen"

(Sooriyadeva, can you please stop laughing?)

He stopped his laugh and looked at her, who was looking at him with a pout on her lips.

"Yen sirikireergal?"

(Why are you laughing?)

She questioned.

"Mmm"

He laughed again. She twisted her lips.

"Seri thaangal sirithu kondey irungal, naan kilambugiren."

(Fine, you keep laughing; I'm leaving.)

She stood up but yanked again at him, and her sari fell down from her upper self. Her back leaned on his bent-up knee, and he caught her naked waist and caressed her hair.

"Yengu selgiraai, ennai vittu?"

(Where are you going, leaving me?)

She looked into his eyes.

"Mmm, thaangal dhaan ennai paarthu nagaippu kolgireergal."

(Hmm, you're the one who laughed at me.)

She averted her gaze from his eyes to his arm, which was around her waist. He smiled, leaned down, and husked near her ears.

"Yen naan seiya koodaadhaa?"

(Why, can't I do that?)

She looked at him and then smiled. He smiled back and pecked her cheek.

She blushed instantly and turned away, placing her palms under her cheek and over his knee with a smile.

His smile remained the same, but when his gaze fell on her back, it showed her whitish skin on the upper side of her blouse, and between her blouse and skirt, his face became neutral.

Her bossom was covered by her arm, which was placed on his knee, and also by her long black hair, which was placed altogether over there, and the white stone work on her skirt around her waist added extra beauty and brightness to her creamy skin.

The moment his fingers traced her bare back, she, who was admiring their own chamber's structural designs over the wall, jolted at the sudden touch and sat up to look at him, who was already staring at her, astounded. When his eyes darted down to her cleavage and her navel, she gulped and averted her gaze to the pot.

"Thaal..Thaaligai neer"

(He..herbal water)

She said it softly and then again lowered her gaze.

He gazed at the pot and her before moving the pot closer between them.

And both leaned down to take in the steam of hot herbal water with a smile and blush on their faces.

During the entire time, Anushman's gaze was on her face while she tried hard to keep her gaze on the herbal leaves floating inside the pot, and their faces formed a sweat in the heat of the water as well as their heated tensions produced by their own harmones.

To increase the harmones willingly, she stiffened in her place and placed her palm on his chest when he tilted his head and leaned his face towards her neck.

Her chest heavied, and he pecked her sweating neck. Her fingers bent, and she grabbed his silk white kurta as he sniffed, nuzzling his nose there near her neck, and shifted himself closer to her. Her toes got curled, but their moment got broken on hearing,

"Ilavarasae"

(Prince)

She left her hold on his kurta, straightened up, panting, and placed her sari over herself.

He called the attendant inside after he made sure that his wife was in her decency, and the attendant came inside, took the pot, and left their chamber after receiving an strict order from Anushman not to disturb them anymore.

After that, to compose themselves, he taught her some more poetry, and she slept, leaning her head on his lap.

He smiled, kept her head safely on the pillow, drew down the curtains, blew out the torches, laid down beside her, and covered them with a white silk duvet.

Gazing at her calm and serene moonlight graced face for a few minutes, he slept beside her with a smile.

Next afternoon,

In the court room,

"Avan kooruvadhil ippozhudhu nee enna thavaru kandu pidithaai, Eezhamadhi?"

(What mistake did you find now, in his words, Eezhamadhi?)

"Illai aththai. Pengal porirku selvadhaye vichithiramaaga kaanum ulagam idhu. Aanaal tharpodhu ival vaal vithai seivaalaam adhanai naam kaana vendumaam. Enna aththai idhu?"

(No, aunt. This is a world where women fighting in wars are seen as unusual. But now, she has to engage in swordsmanship, and we must witness it.What is this, aunt?)

Eezhamadhi asked Oorvashi with an uninterested look.

"Yen paarthaal enna? mooda nambikkaiyai agatri yeriya vendum ena ninaikum uyiranangalum indha ulagathil ullana, Eezhamadhi. Nee andha vagaiyil illai endraal, nee vara vendaam. Unnai yaarum vara vendum endru kattaaya padutha villai."

(What does it matter to witness it? There are beings in this world who believe in extinguishing superstitions. If you are not among them, you need not come. No one has compelled you to come.)

She said it to her to keep her tongue from speaking ill about Seervizhi.

"Anushman"

Sbe turned towards her elder grandson when Eezhamadhi stopped her words, sensing a grip on her wrist from Yezhisaiyarasi.

"Paati"

(Grandma)

He came forward.

"Maalai, nigalvukku un manaiviyai aayathamaaga irukka sol. Nichiyam nam veerargalai aval vendru kaata vendum. Purindhadhaa?"

(This evening, ensure your wife is ready for the event. She must certainly demonstrate her prowess to our warriors. Understood?)

She asked him with determination.

"Nichiyamaaga paati"

(Sure, Grandma)

He assured her.

Oorvashi went away.

Yezhisai and Eezhamadhi, too, stormed towards their andhapuram (Harem).

"Anni"

(Sister-in-law)

Seervizhi averted her gaze from the floor to Anilamudhan and then smiled at him.

"Vaa, Anilamudhaa"

(Come, Anilamudhaaa)

Her voice sounded with affection, which made Anilamudhan feel blessed instantly, as she's the second woman to call him with so much softness after Ilandevi. As his own mother, Eezhamadhi just ignored him as soon as she learned about his loss of eyesight. And Anbazhagi, her sister, was just born to irritate him and every one of her brothers. So he smiled with his head proudly up.

Anushman understood his thoughts and placed his palm on his overwhelmed brother's shoulder to help him come back to reality.

Anilamudhan gave a smile towards his elder brother's side and turned towards Seervizhi.

"Indru maalai nadakkavirukkum vaal sandaiyil thaangal nichiyam velveergal. Naan thangalin pakkam dhaan."

(This evening's sword fight will surely see you victorious. I am on your side.)

He said it with a smile.

Seervizhi smiled back, but behind that, it held an ocean of nervousness.

"Naangalum thangal pakkam dhaan, anni."

(We are also on your side, sister-in-law.)

Avanindhan, Abhinjalan, Adhivishman, and Anbazhagi came there, chorusing.

Anushman smiled at them warmly but squinted his eyes, keeping his hand on Abhinjalan's shoulder with a fake disappointed look.

"Anni vandhadhum, thaangal anaivarum indha thamaiyanai marandhu vitteergal polum?"

(You all forget about your dear brother as soon as your sister-in-law arrives?)

Abhinjalan smiled at him and opened his mouth to refuse his words. But,

"Yethunai kaalam dhaan naangal thangal patkame iruppadhu?"

(How long are we supposed to stay by your side?)

Avanindhan asked with a smile.

"Adhaane engalukkum oru puthunarvu vendaamaa?"

(You're correct. Don't we need some refreshment too?)

Anbazhagi remarked. Anushman's brows jumped, and he smirked.

"Ohh. Puthunarvu vendumaa? vaarungal ippozhudhey thaangal anaivaraiyum neeril pudhaithu nangaaga puthunarvu alikiren."

(Oh, you need refreshment? Come now; I'll refresh you all by dunking you in water)

He took his step forward, but they all laughed and ran away from there in different directions.

Anushman chuckled at them and looked at Seervizhi, who was staring at the floor.

He kept his palm beneath her chin and lifted her face to look at him.

"Achcham'aah? innum?"

(Still scared?)

She shook her head, removed his hold, and entered their chamber, covering her face with the veil.

He followed her behind, locked their chamber door, and moved towards her, who was sitting on the chair in front of the mirror.

He stood behind her, placed his palms on her veil, slid it up to keep it above her head, and placed his chin on her head, looking at her through the mirror.

A drop of tears fell from her eyes on her palms, which were on her thighs.

"Vizhi, ennai paar"

(Vizhi, look at me.)

She shook her head, lowering her head more.

"Bayandhu kondu ullaeyae amarndhirundhaal ondrum nadakka povadhu illai, Vizhi. Unnai yaelanam seiyum kootam innum adhigam aaga dhaan seiyum."

(Just sitting inside and being scared won't help, Vizhi. The crowd that's mocking you will only grow.)

She shook her head again.

He clicked his tongue and straightened himself.

"Seri. Ippozhudhu umakku enna seiya vendum?"

(Fine. What do you need to do now?)

Her eyelids shot up upon hearing his slightly raised voice, and she looked at him through the mirror with tears.

"Sol. Naan ippozhudhu unadhu indha kanneerai nirutha enna seiya vendum?"

(Tell me. What should I do now to stop these tears of yours?)

She lowered her gaze to her nose pin on the table, which was removed by her once she entered the chamber, and she mumbled something.

"Sathamaaga kooru"

(Speak louder)

"Naan ippotiyil kalandhu kolla villai, Ilavarasae."

(I don't want to participate in the event, prince.)

She broke out into heavy cries.

He inhaled and looked at her for a few minutes before storming inside their bathing area.

She looked at the way he went, and the tears poured out like a river from her moon eyes.

After a few minutes,

Anushman came back with the rectangular brown wooden boxes containing their swords and another square-shaped box and kept them on their bed, pushing off the curtains swiftly, making her jerk at his force.

She stood up from the chair with a gulp.

He turned to look at her.

"Ivai. Unnaal mudindhaal. Ennai yaarum nagaippu kondu vida koodaadhu endru nee virumbinaal. Ip'pettiyil irukkum vasthirathinaiyum, vaalaiyum eduthu kondu vithai kalathirku vaa. Illai yendraal.."

(These. If you can, wear the attire in this box, take the sword of yours, and come to the event. If not...)

She blinked and tried to hold his arms.

"Soor.."

He backed away, making her stop abruptly with a shock.

"Ennidam pesaadhey"

(Don't talk to me.)

He uttered, making her widen her eyes, and a gasp left from her throat, and she walked forward to touch his arm.

"Devaa.. thaangal.."

(Deva, you..)

He showed his palm towards her, and she stopped.

"Idhuve enadhu mudivu, Vizhi. Ini anaithum un kaiyil dhaan ulladhu. Naan neeraadi vittu, purapadugiren. Nee nangu oru mudiveduthu vittu vaa."

(This is my final decision, Vizhi. Everything is in your hands now. I'll bathe and leave. Make a firm decision and come.)

He moved inside the bathing area again and closed the silver door behind him.

Seervizhi looked at the things on the bed, remembered his words, and sat on the chair with a thud, murmuring,

"Appa, naan ippodhu enna seiya vendum endru thaangale koorungal. Ennaal idhu mudiyum endru thondra villai appa. Enakku bayamaaga ulladhu. Naan thotru poi vittaal anaivarum en devanai dhaan kuraivaaga uraipaargal. Adhanai yen avar purindhu kolla marukiraar?

(Father, tell me what I should do now. I don't think I can do this, Father. I am scared. If I fail, everyone will mock my husband. Why doesn't he understand that?)

She shed tears and started remembering her mother and father. She missed them near her to console or give her any solutions for her problem, like every time, but palmed her face, knowing that it was impossible, and cried heavily with hiccups, feeling helpless and scared.

Meanwhile, Anushman leaned back on the pool's edge, keeping his arms wide at each side and staring at the mildly visible moon in the sky, hearing his wife's cries from inside their chamber with closed eyes and fisted palms.

Both fell into a place of vulnerability and guilt for the same situations, but for a single outcome.

And that evening,

Anushman got his blessings from his grandmother and sat beside her.

The brothers came one by one, and they sat age-wise. Anbazhagi, with Sennila in her lap, sat on the other side of Oorvashi.

Some of their friends from neighbouring countries have also arrived, gotten their blessings, and settled in their places.

Completely, the practice arena was filled with murmurings and drums to welcome the various people into the area. The minutes had passed along with that; the fighters had arrived to fight against Seervizhi, but she hadn't shown up yet.

The brothers gang too were dressed in fighter attire and waiting eagerly for her to fight against her.

"Enna aththai? Innum andha pennai kaana villai?"

(What is it, aunt? That woman hasn't shown up yet.)

Eezhamadhi's mocking smile had furiated Anushman's anger.

"Andha penn illai. Aval enadhu manaivi"

(That woman is my wife.)

Anushman said it to Eezhamadhi with his voice slightly raised.

"Anna"

(Brother)

Avanindhan held his palm, cooling him.

"Unadhu manaivi dhaan Anushman. Yengey aval?"

(Yeah, your wife only, Anushman. But where is she?)

Yezhisai asked now.

"Anni varuvaargal"

(The sister-in-law will come.)

Anilamudhan voiced out.

Eezhamadhi and Yezhisai had gone silent. But,

"Illai Ilavarasae, munnaal arasiyar ketpadhum seri dhaane? naali kadandhu kondey pogiradhu aanaal innum Ilavarasi vara villai."

(No, Prince. Shouldn't the former queen ask correctly? Time is passing, but the princess hasn't come yet.)

Anushman closed his eyes, opened them, and parted his lips to utter them to leave the place and to halt the event, getting angry at their ill remarks about his wife.

Though he wants to see her show her excellent swordsmanship to everyone, especially his aunts, the respect and dignity she has for herself are more important than anything, but both Anushman and one of their ministers stopped their talks, hearing,

"Adho, anni/akka vandhuvittaargal"

(There, a sister-in-law/ sister came.)

Sennila and Adhivishman chorused before staring at each other and twisting their lips.

Then all of their gazes were shifted to their country's first and elder princess, who was in her long, white dress with a golden sash around her waist. The dress has long sleeves and is very flowy. Her hair is left long and dark. But the only minus points are her red eyes and parched lips.

Anushman felt guilty, but he's happy to see her here to fight against her main opponent, which is her fear.

"Ilavarasi Seervizhi varugiraar varugiraar varugiraar"

(Princess Seervizhi is arriving.)

The announcement was heard. She looked at her husband and blinked her eyes.

But the sound of the drums and the conch had distracted her; she jolted slightly, making the people beside her laugh. Her eyes brimmed, but she pulled them back and walked towards the centre of the ground.

The announcement of the first fighter who was going to fight against Seervizhi was heard around the area, and she stiffened, grabbing her sword firmly against her small hand.

After a shake of hands with her opponent, the fight began with the stroked sound of the person striking the bass drum mallet in the centre of the drum, which echoed throughout the entire area.

The opponent started to strike Seervizhi's sword, and she defensed the continuous strikes in between getting a small fear and a lack of attacks and defences, but somehow she managed.

When the strikes went on hard, she inhaled her breath, defencing the opponent's sword with hers, and started remembering the tricks her 'guru' had taught her.

"Mudhal Yukthi"

(Trick one)

Seervizhi pushed the opponent's sword, gripping her sword with both her palms.

"Un mun iruppavarai thoonduvadharkaaga oru dhisaiyil thaakuvadhu pol paasaangu seidhal."

(To make the opponent think you will attack in one direction and strike in another.)

She bent down as the opponent's sword shipped over her head.

And she straightened up, continuing with a fight.

"Pinnar viraivaaga thaakudhalai matroru dhisaiku maatrudhal."

(Then quickly change the direction of attack.)

She opened her eyes wide, aimed at the opponent's sword, and raised her sword to the left. When he raised his to defend at the left, she shifted her sword to the right side swiftly and struck away his sword as it fell down on the ground with a clattered sound, followed by many more people's gasps in the area.

Seervizhi breathed out, staring at the ground with her sword in her hand upside down.

Anushman had a proud smile on his face while the brothers gang clapped their hands with a shocked and happy face.

The opponent bowed at her and went away, giving her respect. But she's not in the mood to see all those; she's only here to fight against the ill words that will have been said towards her husband.

"Sutru ondril, Ilavarasi Seervizhi vendradhaaga arivikka padugiraar."

(In the first round, Princess Seervizhi is declared victorious.)

The announcement had been heard, and people who had laughed before had a shocked face, and they clapped their hands in shame.

The following three fighters were kept under Seervizhi's excellent swordfight, and they all accepted their defeat with respect for the great swordswomanship.

Seervizhi was drenched in sweat while the brothers, one by one, came excitedly to fight against her. She smiled and enjoyed with them happily in between the sighs, smiles, fake glares, and happy smirks, but at last she defeated them too, for which they literally went to bow before her, but now she stopped them and had a hug.

Oorvashi and Anushman smiled upon seeing them.

"Nadandhu mudindha aaru sutrugalilum, Ilavarasi Seervizhi thanadhu vaal balathai miga arumaiyaaga uboyigudhu abaara vetri kandullaar."

(In all six rounds, Princess Seervizhi showcased her exceptional sword skills and emerged victorious.)

The announcement received a huge amount of claps and praise.

The poets had already started to prepare an honouring and inspiring poem to say to their country's princess to get rewards from the Queen Mother, Oorvashi, and their to-be king, Anushman.

"Tharpodhu namadhu veeram mikka Ilavarasi'ai yedhirkolla varugiraar namadhu mootha Ilavarasar, Anushman Boodhan."

(Now, to face our brave princess, our eldest prince, Anushman Boodhan, is arriving.)

The crowd became silent, and Seervizhi inhaled, hearing his name, and turned to look at him, who was descending the stairs with a smile on his face and a sword in his hand, with a bare upper body only, a sun-stroked chain, a white veshti around his waist that was tied above his knee, securing it safely from the centre to the back, and a white clothed turban in his head.

She gulped, and their memories recollected their first meeting, their sword fight, and their grown-up love for each other.

But they crushed it apart and started fighting without any words being exchanged between them, but with just an eye and a sword.

Seervizhi breathed and remembered the tricks when the fight went on, as her husband may have any other tricks or anything in his brain.

"Aindhaam Yukthi"

(Fifth trick)

She defended him, raising her hands and pushing him backwards.

"Yedhiraaliyin nilai alladhu nerathai seerkulaikka, oru thaakudhalukku, oru thirappai uruvaaka."

(To disturb the opponent's stance or timing, feign an attack in one direction and suddenly change.)

He rotated his sword towards his back, grabbed it from the other hand, and tried to strike her sword. But she defended, striking him back. She was getting distracted slowly, but claimed herself again, remembering the other half of trick number five.

"Viraivaana thaakudhalin thoguppai payanpaduthudhal"

(Use a series of rapid strikes.)

She widened her eyes, aimed his sword, and struck it again and again in the same direction while he moved his steps backwards, defending her with a wide and proud smile.

But when he twirled himself to distract her, she stumbled behind, but he caught her with his arm around her. Her back got dashed to his front, and her breathing was clearly heard by him.

On his distraction, she nudged him, twirling herself, and remembered another trick, as the fifth one was beneficial for him.

"Aaraam yukthi"

(Sixth trick)

She took care of his raised swords, defending them back-to-back.

"Sandaiyin podhu dhoorathaiyum nerathaiyum kattupadutha pinnoki alladhu munnoki soozhchi seidhal."

(During the fight, control the distance and timing by moving backward or forward strategically.)

She bent forward as his sword struck against the air, and she twirled herself before bending down. He jumped up, as her sword's edge had been marked on the cement ground.

The crowd became more anxious and waited for the result while sitting at the edge of the place.

"Soozhchi purigiraai, aah?"

(Are you following any tricks?)

Anushman questioned her with a smirk. But she just ignored him, remembering another trick, which was the main one, as her guru said.

"Yukthi Yezhu"

(Trick number seven)

"Aarambathil yedhiriyin vaalinai eedupaduthuvadhan moolam nutpangalai orunginaithu, pinnar viraivaaga thaakum dhisaiyinai maatruvadhan moolam avargalai pidikka vendum."

(In the beginning, disrupt the opponent's sword with a crosswise attack to destabilise their tactics, and then quickly change the direction of the strike to confuse and capture them.)

She aimed both their swords and attacked him in the crisscross manner of fighting for a few minutes, then suddenly changed the direction towards his left alone, and in the process, her sword slightly scratched his bicep, leading to blood.

She gasped, her head spun, her eyes became heavy along with her heart, and from the crowd there were huge amounts of gasps.

"Anna"

(Brother)

The brothers and a sister stood up from their places.

But Anushman had a wide smile on his lips.

"Vizhigalai vaal meedhu vai, Kannamma."

(Keep your eyes on the sword, Kannamma.)

Saying this, he raised his sword and moved it towards her with force, but her eyes got closed, and she fell on his chest.

Everyone widened their eyes. Anushman left his sword on the ground and caught her sword along with her palm before it could reach the ground, and his other arm circled around her waist to balance her on him safely.

"Anni"

(Sister-in-law)

The brothers ran down, and Anushman moved his palm from her waist to her back thighs and lifted her off the ground, placing her on his shoulder.

Her soft stomach got squeezed against his broad shoulder, her head fell upside down, and her legs and arms fell straight without any motion.

He placed her sword on the box, which was carried by Kayarkodi with the red carpeted cloth, with respect, before leading his way out of the place with her on his shoulder.

Anilamudhan rushed to open the door, and he left the arena with her.

Kayarkodi secured Anushman's sword too and left to place it in their chamber.

The herald moved towards Oorvashi and bowed at her before asking,

"Nadandhavai anaivarum paarthom Rajamatha. Tharpodhu yaar vendradhaaga naan arivikka vendum ena thaangal koorinaal nandraaga irukkum ena ninaikiren."

(We have all seen what happened, Queen Mother. Who should I declare as the winner now?)

Queen Mother smiled and replied,

"Kadhal"

(Love)

Yezhisai and Eezhamadhi had a rigid face, but the others around Oorvashi had a smile on their faces.

"Dharma palan nam naatirku kidaikum. Anaivarum uyarndha nimmadhiyudan vaazha pogirom"

(We will attain the fruits of righteousness in our land. Let us all live with elevated peace)

Her eyes shone, concluding that her son's unfulfilled desire was going to be fulfilled soon.
