Seervizhi smiled and pinched her cheek.

"Sennila.. Azhagaana peyar.. yaar umakku indha peyar vaithadhu?"

(Sennila, such a beautiful name.. who selected this name for you?)

She asked sweetly at her.

"Amma te kelu.. hey adhu enna un thol melae?"

(Ask that to my mother.. hey, what's that on your shoulder?)

She asked excitedly, pointing Sarayu.

"Ivan peyar Sarayu"

(His name is Sarayu)

She chuckled answering her.

"Sarayu vaa?"

She lifted her hand and tugged its leg. Sarayu made a noise and flew away from there.

"Eyy enga pora.. inga vaa.."

(Hey, where're you going? Come to me..)

She tried to run behind it, but, Seervizhi held her wrist, stopping her.

"Illai Sennila.. avatrai avvaaru thunburutha koodaadhu"

(No Sennila.. you shouldn't harm him like this)

"Yen?"

(Why?)

She raised her eyebrows at her.

"Indha kutty Ilavarasi'ai pola dhaan adhuvum.. umakku un kaalgalai piduthu iluthaal evvaaru valikumo avvaaru dhaan adharkum valikkum"

(He's like you little princess, like, just as it hurts for you when someone pulls your legs, so it'll hurts for him too.. )

She said and smiled. Sennila's mouth formed a O.

"Ohh.. aanaal yen adhu ennidam vara marukiradhu?"

(Ohh.. but why it is not coming to me?)

Her eyes still darted on Sarayu, who was on the horse sculpture, near one of the couches.

"Naan koorugiren.. adhu pinbu unnidam varum.. vaa.."

She lifted her in her arms.

"Vaarungal akka.. naam sendru unavu yerpaadu seiya vendum"

(Come, sister.. we have to prepare food for everyone)

Kayarkodi said to her and followed her behind.

And they reached near the kitchen.

"Ilavarasi.. ivargal?"

One of the guards asked her, looking at Kayarkodi and Sennila.

She answered, gulping.

"Aanaal Ilavarasi.. Yezhisaiyarasi avargal, yaarayum samayal araikul anumadhikka koodaadhu endru aanai pirapithullaar"

She grabbed his palms.

The Guard accepted and paved the way for Kayarkodi. Seervizhi hummed, smiling wide and dragged Kayarkodi inside the kitchen.

Then, Kayarkodi helped her and taught her how to cook for the people in the entire palace. Seervizhi noted everything in her mind and told Kayarkodi to write some of the recipes in the note to read later with her husband. She too accepted and wrote some more recipes, and they finished preparing the food within two hours.

Seervizhi smiled in relief and closed her eyes, thanking her husband.

"Maalai'ileyae dhyaanam mel kolgireergalaa, Ilavarasi?"

(Do you meditate in the evenings, Princess?)

She opened her eyes with a huge smile, hearing his teasing voice, and turned towards him, who was leaning on the kitchen counter beside her with his arms crossed across his chest.

"Ilavarasae"

(Prince)

She moved forward to touch him but frowned seeing none.

She looked here and there, like a lost puppy.

Kayarkodi chuckled.

"Thangalin Ilavarasar ingu illai, Ilavarasi.. adhu thangalin brammai aagum"

(Your Prince is not here, Princess.. that was just your delusion)

She said teasingly at her. Seervizhi lowered her head blushing and closed her side face with her veil.

Kayarkodi smiled, seeing her.

But her face turned serious after hearing some sounds from outside the kitchen.

"Ilavarasi"

(Princess)

"Koo.. koorungal akka"

(Te..tell me sister)

She felt shy to look at her.

"Naan ingirundhu udanadiyaaga purappada vendum"

(I need to leave from here)

Seervizhi frowned, looking at her.

"Yen?"

(Why?)

"Naan ippozhudhu ingu irundhaal.. naan dhaan thangalukku samaikka udhavi purindhen endru anaivarum kooruvaargal.. vendaam Ilavarasi.. naan purapadugiren"

(If I stay here now, then everyone would say that I'm the one who helped you prepare the food.. so I'm leaving, Princess)

She said and turned to leave.

Seervizhi stopped her, holding her wrist. Kayarkodi turned towards her.

She made her way towards her chamber, along with Kayarkodi, who followed her with fear. Sennila ran behind them, twirling herself, holding her skirt with her palms.

"Idhu engaludaya arai.. idhan arugil irukkum araiyil dhaan ini thaangalum, Sennila uhm thanga pogireergal"

(This is our chamber.. the room next to ours will now be for you and Sennila)

Kayarkodi gasped in shock. Sennila silently slipped out from there.

"Aiyo Ilavarasi.. vendaam.. "

(No.. Princess.. )

She said it with shock. Seervizhi frowned.

"Yen?"

(Why?)

"Ilavarasar thangalukku udhavi puriya mattume ennai ingu anuppi vaithaar.. "

(Prince, sent me only to help you)

Seervizhi crossed her arms across her chest.

"Ohh avar sonnaal ketpeer aanaal naan sonnaal maruppeer..appadi dhaane?"

"Illai illai Ilavarasi, appadi illai"

She said hurriedly.

She stood there and hesitated.

Both turned towards the voice and smiled, seeing Anushman standing there, smiling at them.

She bowed at him.

Anushman went and stood beside Seervizhi.

She smiled seeing him.

He smiled back at her and looked at Kayarkodi.

"Enna aanadhu.. iruvarum ingu nindru pesi kondirukireergal?"

(What happened? Why are you both standing and talking here?)

"Ilavarasae.. thaangale koorungal.. Kayarkodi akka virku angu avargalai veetil paarthu kolla yaarum illai.. avargaladhu kanavarum irandhuvittaaraam.. pin yen angu thaniyaaga irukka vendum? Adhanaal dhaan naan ingaye irungal endru koorinen.. aanaal avargal ketka marukiraargal"

(Prince, tell yourself.. if there is no one to look after Kayarkodi sister in her home.. then why does she have to stay alone there? So I told her to move here to our palace.. but she is refusing it..)

Seervizhi complained like a kid and pouted while Kayarkodi smiled at her.

"Yen Kayarkodi..? ingu irukka umakku samadham illayaa?"

(Why kayarkodi? Are you not interested in staying here?

Anushman asked Kayarkodi.

"Appadi illai anna.. aanaal ingu eppadi naan.. adhuvum en magal.."

She looked around her and got panicked.

They started searching for her.

He tightened his hold around her, pulling her more towards him, feeling her soft blossoms crushing against his hard chest. But Seervizhi being her,

She asked frowning. He sighed mentally.

"Enna pesinaai?"

(What have you spoken to me?)

He asked, raising his left brow.

"Kayarkodi akka ingu irukka marukiraar endru dhaan"

(That, Kayarkodi sister is not accepting to stay here)

"Adhudhaan pesuvadhaa?Mmm?"

(Is that what you speak with me? Mmm?)

"Veru enna pesa vendum thangalukku.. mudhalil ennai vidungal.. Sennila engu sendraal endru theriyavillai"

(What else would you like me to speak with you? Leave me first.. we don't know where Seervizhi has gone, we need to search for her)

She struggled against his hold. While he leaned towards her ears whispering,

"Ohh, Sennila ennai vida un manadhil peridhaagi vittaal aah?"

The sweat smile crept over her lips, hearing his words and tone.

"Sooriyadeva.. aval kuzhandhai"

He left her free.

She smiled at him.

She caught his palm, tilting her head cutely to look at his face. He hided his smile, wriggling out from her hold.

He pushed her towards their chamber but got jerked hearing,

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

They looked at each other and rushed inside their chamber to see that Sennila was sitting on Adhivishman's stomach and tickling his waist. He was whining under her.

Anushman smiled while Seervizhi rushed towards them and took Sennila away from him.

Adhivishman jumped down, ran towards his brother, and hugged his waist tight.

"Enna kaariyam Sennila idhu?"

(What are you doing Sennila?)

"Naan ondrum seiyavillai.. naan avan arugil paduthu urangalaam endru dhaan ninaithen.. aanaal avan dhaan en maarbin mel avanadhu karangalai eduthu vaithaan.. adhanaal dhaan kobam kondu avvaaru seidhen"

(I didn't do anything... I thought of sleeping beside him.. but he placed his arms on my chest.. so I did it out of my anger)

She said and glared at Adhivishman, who hided behind Anushman, in fear.

"Sennilaaa"

Kayarkodi rushed towards her daughter and twisted her ears.

"Ahhh.. amma vidu.. amma vidu.."

(Ahh.. mom leave me.. leave me..)

"Aiyo akka, vidungal avalai"

(No, sister, leave her.)

"Enna nadakiradhu ingu?"

(What is even going on here?)

All got silent when Yezhisai yelled, reaching there.

Sennila cried while Seervizhi rubbed her back, comforting her.

Anushman lifted Adhivishman into his arms.

"Chithi, Ivargaladhu peyar Kayarkodi, akkuzhandhai avargalin magal Sennilathaval, Seervizhi'kaaga naan amaitha panippen aavaargal"

(Aunt, her name is Kayarkodi, and she is her daughter, Sennila, I have appointed her as Seervizhi's personal maid)

Anushman explained to her.

"Yedharku Anushman? Ingu dhaan ithunai panipengal ullaargalae.. pinnar yen pudhidhaaga oruvar?"

He said with a smile. Yezhisai looked at Kayarkodi.

"Vanakkam munnaal arasi"

Yezhisai ignored her and left from there.

Kayarkodi turned towards her daughter with anger.

"Enna kaariyam seidhaai aahn?"

(What thing you have done aahn??)

She hit her shoulder with her palm.

"Ammaa"

She cried in Seervizhi's shoulder.

"Akka vidungal.. aval yedho kobathil seidhiruppaal"

(Sister leave her, she did out of her anger)

"Anni naan yaedhum seiya villai.. aval dhaan.."

(Sister-in-law I didn't do anything.. she is the one who did it..)

Adhivishman said.

"Poi kooraadhey.. naan enna seidhen.. nee dhaan enmel unadhu karathinai thooki vaithaai"

(Don't lie.. what i have done? You're the one who throwed your hand on me)

Sennila said, glaring at Adhivishman.

"Anna.. naan vendum endru seiya villai"

(I didn't do it willingly, brother.)

His lips got trembled, looking at his brother.

"Seri.. seri Adhivishmaa alugaadhey.. Seervizhi, Sennila matrum Kayarkodi ku avargalin araiyinai kaanbithu vittu vaa"

(Okay okay.. don't cry Adhivishmaa.. Seervizhi, show the room to them)

Anushman said it to Seervizhi. She nodded her head at him.

"Vaarungal akka"

(Sure Prince, come with me sister)

Kayarkodi bowed her head and followed her behind.

Adhivishman turned Anushman's face towards him with his palm under his chin.

"Anna.. avargal yaar?"

(Brother, who are they?)

Anushman smiled at him.

"Avargalum innil irundhu ingu dhaan irukka pogiraargal, Adhivishmaa"

(They are going to stay with us here, Adhivishmaa)

He wiped the tears from the corner of his eyes.

"Avalum aah?"

(She, too?)

Anushman frowned first not understanding him, then smiled.

"Aval.. Sennila'vai patri ketkiraai aah?"

(She? You're asking about Sennila?)

"Mmm"

He just hummed.

"Aam avalum dhaan"

(Yes, she, too)

He sat on the couch with him on his lap.

"Aanaal aval ennai yedhaenum seidhu viduvaal anna.. aval namakku vendaam"

(But, she'll do something to me brother.. we don't want her)

"Adhivishmaa.. nee yen Sennila'vai paarthu bayapudugiraai? aval.."

(Why're you scared of Sennila? She is..)

He pouted. Anushman chuckled.

"Adhivishmaa.. anna solvadhai ketpaaiyaa?"

(Adhivishmaa.. will you listen to my words?)

He sounded serious.

"Mmm..ketpen"

(Mmm.. I will)

He too got silent, getting ready to listen to his brother's words.

"Andha pennin appa namadhu appa vai pola, aval innum siru vayadhil irukkumbodhu irandhu vittaargal"

(Her dad died when she was so small, like our father)

"Ohh"

"Avalum avaladhu thaayaarum thaniyaaga migavum kashta padugiraargal"

(She and her mother were suffering a lot alone)

He hummed and leaned on his chest. Anushman smiled and hugged him leaning back on the couch.

"Samaippadharkum, saapiduvadharkum kooda kashtam.. naam aan pillaigal namakku nammai paarthu kolla mudiyum, Sennila pen pillai allavaa? 

(They're suffering even for cooking food and eating it. We're men; we can take care of ourselves, but Seernila is a girl, right?)

Adhi nodded his head.

Bathiramaaga paarthu kolla vendum.. nangu saapida vendum.. appozhudhu dhaan aval manam niraindhu valarvaal.. umakku kidaipadhu pola avalukkum paadhi aavadhu kidaikka vendum allavaa? Namadhu naatil nam makkal kashta paduvadhai naame nindru vedikkai paarpadhaa sol?"

( So she should be safe and have to eat well. That's when she'll live happily.. the things you get should be at least shared with half of the amount from those, right? Tell me, are we going to watch our people's sufferings without giving them a solution to those worries?)

Adhi got silent for few minutes. Anushman gave some time for him to think.

"Adhivishmaa"

He called him, stroking his hair.

"Seri anna, avargal irukattum"

(Okay brother, make them stay here)

Anushman smiled and kissed his top-head.

Seervizhi entered the chamber and stopped, seeing them with a smile.

Adhivishman looked at her first and smiled back at her widely.

"Anni"

(Sister-in-law)

Anushman then looked and smiled at her.

Seervizhi moved towards them and sat beside, Anushman.

"Nee yedharku Adhivishmaa aludhaai?"

(Why have you cried, Adhivishmaa?)

She touched his cheek with her palm.

"Mannithu vidungal anni.. naan ini alamaaten"

(Sorry, sister-in-law, I'm not going to cry here after)

She looked at Anushman.

"Paadam eduthu vitteergalaa thangalin thambi'ku?"

(Taken classes for your little brother?)

She asked him with a smile.

"Yen nee edukalaam endru ninaithaayaa?"

(Why? have you thought of taking him a class?)

He teased her.

"Naan ellaam ondrum ninaikavillai"

(No, I'm not)

Anushman chuckled at her twisted lips.

"Seri sell Adhivishmaa.. unadhu Anilamudhan anna unnai thaedi kondirundhaar"

"Mmm selgiren anna.. Varugiren anni"

Seervizhi pinched his cheek, nodding her head.

He smiled wide, jumped down from Anushman's lap and ran out from there.

Anushman looked her, grabbed her palm and pulled her towards him.

She smiled and leaned on his chest with some hesitation.

He smiled and wrapped his arm around her shoulder and leaned towards her ear, whispered,

"Innum thayakkam aah ennidam?"

(Are you feeling hesitant beside me, even for now?)

She nodded negatively and kept her cheek on his chest above his chain. 

He smiled and leaned back on the couch, closing his eyes and feeling some kind of relief.

"Yen viraivaaga maazhigai thirumbi vitteergal.. sendra kaariyam enna aanadhu?"

(Why you have returned so early today? Have your work got finished?)

She asked rolling the beads of his chain with her fingers.

"Sendra kaariyam mudhan mudhalil unnaal viraivaaga mudindhu irukkiradhu"

(My work had been completed earlier for the first, because of you)

"She pulled back from him with frown.

"Ennaal aah?"

(Because of me?)

"Aam"

He smiled.

(Yes)

But, she frowned still.

"Eppadi?"

(How?)

"Nee.."

(You..)

He started, but,

"Ilavarasae"

(Prince)

Anushman and Seervizhi maintained some distance between them hearing one of their maids voice.

"Soll"

(Spill)

"Munnaal Arasi, thangalayum, Ilavarasi'yaarayum unavu utkolla varumpadi koorinaar Ilavarasae"

(The former queen, told you both to come for the dinner Prince)

She said, bowing her head.

"Naan ingu dhaan eduthu vara vendum endru koori irundhen allavaa?"

(I have told you to bring the food here to our chamber, right?)

He asked her sternly. Seervizhi touched his palm.

"Sooriyadeva"

He looked at her.

"Naamum selvom.. naan dhaan indru unavu samaithen.. anaiviradamum nandraaga ulladhaa endru ketka vendum allavaa?"

(We'll also go, I have prepared today's food, so, I have to get their appreciative or depreciative words, right?)

"Aanaal Seervizhi"

He turned towards her, fully with a concerned face.

"Ilavarasae.. enakkaaga?"

She pleaded him. He took a deep breathe.

He nodded back and left inside the bathing area to get refreshed.

She waited for him and they left towards the dining area, hand in hand.

(Come brother and sister-in-law)

Anbazhagi welcomed them with a smile.

"Yen Anbazhagi nindru kondirukiraai.. neeyum amaru"

Anushman said, standing beside her.

"Illai anna.. anaivarukkum saadham parimaara.."

(That brother, I have to serve the food..)

She dragged. He narrowed his brows at her.

"Adharkaaga dhaan ithanai per irukkiraargal Anbazhagi.. nee sendru amaru"

(For that, we have appointed plenty of maids here.. now take your seat)

She sat in her place. Anushman sat beside Avanindhan while Seervizhi sat between Anushman and Anbazhagi.

(The only reason for our dinner here, is because of my wife's cooking and to hear your praisings for that)

He informed, looking at his aunts. They averted their gaze from him.

Seervizhi looked him and he looked back at her.

She blinked her eyes to cool, he smiled, looking at her cuteness.

And the maids served every food and beverage that was prepared by Seervizhi to every royal member in the dining.

They prayed to God as always and started having food.

Yezhisai and Eezhamadhi shared a look and saw Seervizhi.

"Yaar samaithadhu indru?"

(Who have cooked today?)

Anushman looked at his brother, Anilamudhan with a bright smile.

"Anilamudhaa.. nee yeppozhudhu vandhaai?"

(When you have came here Anilamudhaa?)

"Naan thangalukku munnare vandhu vitten anna.. indha unavu.. namadhu amma samaipadhu polave ulladhu.. yaar anna samaithadhu indru?"

(I have arrived here before you, brother; this food was exactly like how our mother cooks; who cooked today?)

Anushman smiled and glanced at Seervizhi before looking back at his brother.

"Umadhu anni'yaar dhaan Anilamudhaa"

(It's by your sister-in-law, brother)

"Anni"

(Sister-in-law)

He stood up from his place while Anbazhagi rushed towards him and helped him walk towards Anushman. Seervizhi gasped, seeing him but didn't voice out.

Anbazhagi made him place his hand on Anushman's palms.

"Anilamudhaa"

Anushman gripped his hands.

"Anna.. anni yengu irukkiraar?"

(Brother.. where is my sister-in-law?)

Anushman smiled and took his palm and kept it on Seervizhi's palms.

"Anni"

(Sister-in-law)

His half opened eyes teared slightly.

"Naan thangaludan munbirundhe pesavillai.. ennai mannithu vidungal"

(I have not spoken to you since first; I apologise for that, sister-in-law)

"Illai.. naan.."

(No.. I'm..)

Seervizhi looked at her husband, stammering in between her words.

Anushman smiled at her.

"Seervizhi, Ivan dhaan Anilamudhan, en thambi, avan, pirappil irundhe paarvai atravan aavaan"

(Seervizhi, He is Anilamudhan,my brother; he has been a visually challenged person since his birth)

Anushman said understanding her mindset. She gulped, staring Anilamudhan who was smiling, hearing his brother's statement.
