Chapter 23

Wedding Night

After the whirlwind of their wedding day, Queen Asora and King Tae-Han found themselves enveloped in a comforting sense of exhaustion. The weight of the festivities, the joyous celebrations, and the emotional energy they had poured into the day had left them both pleasantly fatigued.

With a knowing smile exchanged between them, they acknowledged their shared weariness and the need for rest.

The Queen laid her head against the King's shoulder as they watched their people begin to pick up the hall. "I know I told you to satisfy my hunger yesterday, but I am exhausted. And that is not fair to me."

The King chuckled and kissed the Queen's forehead, "I agree, as much as I would love to ravish you, and quite honestly if you had said to, I would, but I am tired too. So for tonight, let's just sleep in each other's embrace."

With their entwined hand they made their way through the grand hallways of the palace, the weight of their royal responsibilities temporarily lifted from their shoulders. The whispers of courtiers and the echoes of well-wishers faded into the background, gradually replaced by the soothing stillness of the night.

Arriving in their private quarters, they found solace in the intimate sanctuary of their bedroom. The soft glow of candlelight danced upon the walls, casting a warm and inviting ambiance. The familiar scent of freshly laundered linens and fragrant flowers filled the air, creating an atmosphere of tranquility.

With gentle gestures, they prepared themselves for sleep. Queen Asora, behind the divider, that blocked the King from looking at her, slipped out of her intricately designed gown, letting it cascade down in a graceful heap. Carefully she slipped into her nightgown.

King Tae-Han, too, shed the regalia of his royal attire, embracing the simplicity and comfort of a nightshirt and pants. The weight of their crowns and the obligations of their titles were set aside, replaced by the vulnerability and tenderness they shared as husband and wife.

Side by side, they slipped beneath the covers of their regal bed, the cool sheets a welcome contrast against their warm bodies. As they settled into the embrace of the pillows, a shared sigh of relief escaped their lips. The weariness that had weighed upon them slowly dissipated, replaced by quiet contentment.

In the stillness of the chamber, their breathing synchronized, creating a gentle lullaby. They held each other, the queen found the King's body to be cool, perfect against her warm skin. And the King found comfort in the warmth that radiated from her as he held her in his arms.

Their eyes met one last time, and their lips met again briefly before the Queen snuggled into the King's chest, and the King squeezed her tighter into his arms. With whispered words of affection and promises of tomorrow, they allowed sleep to claim them. As their eyelids grew heavy, they drifted into a peaceful slumber, their dreams intertwined with visions of a future filled with love, unity, and the boundless possibilities of their reign.

The following morning, as the first rays of sunlight painted the sky, King Tae-Han and Queen Asora found themselves seated at the breakfast table, surrounded by their Advisors and Wisemen. The Queen refused to look her husband in the eyes, although they did nothing of intimacy last night, she couldn't stand the looks everyone gave her, and the King for some reason had become very touchy with her, from the moment she woke up the King's hand was on her leg. He had professed to be asleep but she knew better.

And right now, the King shamelessly stared at the Queen, so she ate quickly she needed energy, lots of energy for tonight.

The room was filled with palpable tension as the Advisors and Wisemen exchanged knowing glances, their eyes flickering with mischief, and could barely contain the laughter of their companions making it abundantly clear that their secret was not as hidden as they had hoped. The subtle teasing danced in the air, causing both Tae-Han and Asora to squirm in their seats.

Wisewoman Lydia couldn't help but break the silence, a playful twinkle in her eyes. "Your Majesties, I hope you had a pleasant evening." Her tone was innocent, but her words were laden with an undertone of mischief.

Queen Asora's cheeks flushed a deep shade of crimson, and she discreetly nudged Tae-Han under the table. He bit his lip, fighting back a smile, fully aware that their attempts were futile, they really had done nothing but kiss.

Advisor Judias chimed in, unable to resist the opportunity to tease. "I must say, Your Majesties, the blossoms in the cherry blossom field were particularly vibrant this morning. A symbol of your blooming love, perhaps?"

The room erupted in soft laughter, causing Tae-Han and Asora to exchange sheepish glances.

Tae-Han cleared his throat, a hint of amusement in his voice. "It seems our Advisors and Wisemen have become experts in deciphering the language of cherry blossoms."

Asora joined in, her voice filled with mock indignation. "Indeed, it appears they have developed a keen interest in our private affairs."

The teasing continued throughout the breakfast, each member of the council finding creative ways to hint at the previous night's events. Despite their embarrassment, Tae-Han and Asora couldn't help but appreciate the lighthearted atmosphere. It was a reminder that they were surrounded by a council that cared deeply for their happiness and well-being.

As the meal came to an end, Queen Asora stood up, her voice filled with newfound confidence. "Thank you, Advisors and Wisemen, for the delightful breakfast and the lively conversation. It seems you all have become experts in subtlety and innuendo."

King Tae-Han stood beside her, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Yes, indeed. We shall take your lessons to heart and strive to maintain a more discreet composure in the future."

The room erupted in laughter, and the tension that had filled the air dissipated.

With newfound confidence, King Tae-Han and Queen Asora left the breakfast table, ready to start the third day of their marriage union.

King Tae-Han and Queen Asora headed back to where they were married and prepared to sign the wedding proclamation. With great reverence and solemnity, the King retrieved his signet ring, a precious symbol of his authority and identity.

The signet ring, adorned with the royal crest, shined brightly. Its intricate design reflected the heritage and lineage of the kingdom, a tangible representation of the King's position and responsibilities. The ring held a deep significance, carrying the weight of generations past and the hopes for the future.

With a steady hand, King Tae-Han dipped the signet ring into a small vial of crimson ink, representing the lifeblood of the kingdom and the depth of his commitment to his people. The ink clung to the engraved crests, emphasizing the importance of the moment and the gravity of his actions.

In a gesture of unity and shared responsibility, Queen Asora extended her hand, offering her thumb for the final step. Asora, too, possessed a signet ring, a symbol of her authority and status as a queen. The delicate yet resolute band encircled her finger, complementing the King's ring in its own unique way.

With her thumb gently pressed against the parchment, Asora added her own blood thumbprint, intertwining her identity with that of her beloved husband and the kingdom they would govern together. It was an act of solidarity, a demonstration that their roles as King and Queen were intertwined, and their commitment was not only to each other but also to their people.

As the ink and blood merged on the parchment, the wedding proclamation became a testament to their shared love, devotion, and willingness to lead their nation with integrity and compassion. The mingling of royal crests and blood thumbprints conveyed a powerful message of unity, symbolizing that their reign would be guided by the harmony and cooperation of both the King and the Queen.

With the signing complete, the King and Queen beheld their joint creation, a document that would forever be a part of their kingdom's history. It bore their marks, both literal and symbolic, and represented their solemn oath to govern with wisdom, fairness, and unwavering dedication.

And now it was time to celebrate again, but with the people this time in the villages. As their procession made its way through the bustling streets, the King and Queen were greeted by an outpouring of excitement and warm welcomes. Smiling faces lined the sidewalks, and the air was filled with the melodic sounds of laughter and jubilation.

The Queen's eyes sparkled with delight as she caught sight of the colorful banners swaying in the breeze. The intricate paper lanterns hung from every corner, casting a soft glow that added a touch of enchantment to the scene. The streets seemed to come alive, adorned with flowers and ribbons that painted a picture of celebration and unity.

Children ran alongside the royal carriage, their laughter echoing through the air. Their youthful energy was contagious, and Queen Asora couldn't resist joining them in their carefree dance. She twirled and spun with the little ones, her laughter mingling with theirs. The sight brought a chuckle to King Tae-Han's lips, his heart brimming with affection for his spirited queen.

Throughout the day, the King and Queen made countless stops along the way, eager to connect with their people on a personal level. They shook hands, exchanged warm greetings, and listened intently to the stories and dreams of their subjects. The air was filled with a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose.

The villagers, too, had prepared for this momentous occasion. They showcased their talents through lively performances, traditional dances, and melodious music that filled the air. The rhythms resonated with the beating hearts of the people, creating an atmosphere of unity and merriment.

As the day wore on, the King and Queen shared meals with the villagers, partaking in the local delicacies that represented the diverse flavors of their kingdom. They sat at long, communal tables, engaging in spirited conversations and exchanging stories that bridged the gap between royalty and commoners. The barriers of hierarchy dissolved, replaced by a sense of togetherness and shared celebration.

The streets reverberated with joyous laughter and music until the evening hours approached, signaling the end of their festivities. The King and Queen, accompanied by the gratitude and well-wishes of the people, made their way back to the palace, their hearts filled with the memories of a day spent in harmony and communion with their beloved subjects.

However, this time Queen Asora and King Tae-Han found themselves filled with a mixture of excitement, anticipation, and a touch of nervousness.

In separate chambers, the Queen and King prepared for the night ahead. Asora, surrounded by her attendants, wore a robe of delicate silk adorned with intricate embroidery. Her heart fluttered with a mix of emotions as she reflected on the events of the day.

Asora's attendants helped her with her preparations, ensuring that every detail was perfect for this momentous occasion. They delicately arranged her hair, weaving in delicate blossoms that mirrored the floral theme of their wedding. Asora took deep breaths, allowing herself to fully embrace the significance of the night while feeling a sense of calm and readiness.

In another chamber, King Tae-Han stood before a mirror, as time drew near, Tae-Han's attendants ensured that every detail was in place. They straightened his ceremonial robe, ensuring it fell in perfect folds around his frame. Tae-Han looked into the mirror, his eyes shining with a mixture of anticipation and tenderness. He knew that this night would not only signify their physical union but also mark the beginning of a lifetime of shared joys, responsibilities, and deepening love.

Finally, the moment arrived.

In the quiet sanctuary of their private chambers, King Tae-Han and Queen Asora stood face to face, their eyes filled with a mix of anticipation and nervousness. Asora took hesitant steps closer to Tae-Han who had already stood in the middle of the room by the bed, their eyes locked with tenderness.

Tae-Han reached out and gently cupped Asora's face in his hands, as she came right in front of him, his touch both reassuring and tentative to her. "Asora, we don't have to rush anything tonight. We can take our time, getting to know each other in every way."

Asora nodded, "Thank you, Tae-Han, but I think I asked you to satisfy me until I was too tired."

A small streak of moonlight entered the room, lighting up the room a little more than the candles around the bed. They were able to finally see each other fully, they looked at each other's bare shoulders. The King had discarded his robe and was now shirtless, and the Queen was in a silk strap gown.

The King noticed how Asora was now boldly staring back into his eyes, and that did it for him. He carefully pulled her to the bed and underneath the covers. He sat up again unbothered by the fact that the sheets and blanket came off the Queen too and gently pulled a hanging string from the ceiling, and curtains fell from the ceiling, quickly blowing out all the candles before they touched the ground. Red curtains lay around them, adding to the lust that was already in the room

The King turned to his Queen and he saw her curves and bosom showing through the gown.

"Do I look okay?" The Queen whispered nervously.

The King smiled as he put a hand on her hip, softly messaging it, "You look delectable." His touch on her hip made her feel far more delicate than she ever had, and his words left her legs closing tightly.

And as he laid back pulling the Queen closer to him, in the quiet darkness of their chambers, the air was filled with a sense of intimacy. The outside world seemed to fade away, leaving only the presence of two souls united in love.

In the hours that followed, Queen Asora and King Tae-Han reveled in the beauty of their union...

For the first few rounds of their lovemaking, the Queen moaned in pain, the king had asked her if she wished to stop, but she denied him. Even if she couldn't enjoy these intimate moments she wanted him too.

But the King felt bad and so he tried something different as he whined his hips. The Queen's eyes fluttered open and she made eye contact with the king, she felt different, she felt full like the previous rounds, but with pleasure, pleasure that made her moans turn into gasps and her tears of pain into joy and need...

Her cool touch began to get warmed by him...

Her legs shook as he continued to push her through euphoria...

She had told him days prior to keep going until she was tired and he did, constantly pulling her back for more...

Her whines were hushed by his lips and tears wiped by his hands...

As the night drew to a close, and the sky began to lighten, the chambers echoed with whispers of love and contentment.

Asora's back rested against Tae-Han's chiseled chest, and his strong arms were wrapped around her as he kissed her shoulders, causing shivers to rock through her body, but the King bit her shoulder in warning as their lower bodies were still connected, he gave her a small thrust which earned a groan from her, "Don't start something you can't finish." Tae-Han warned in a husky voice. "I thought you to be innocent before, but you love to challenge me."

Asora smiled tiredly, "I do love to challenge you because of the delicious punishment you offer, but I don't have the strength to continue pushing you."

The King smirked, "Well let's sleep so you have the strength too."

Asora agreed by turning her head and giving the kiss goodnight, but her body didn't want that as it clenched the king tightly, making her eyes roll to the back of her head. The King also closed his eyes and shuttered, as he opened them he darkly chuckled. "I warned you my love not to do that,"And soon the chamber was filled with loud claps of skin and incoherent sentences of apologies.
