The man shoves the knife in Jaehyun's chest but...

BANG!

THUD!

...

Silence echoed in the room just the heavy breaths of the tied up boy was audible. Eyes squinted shut in fear, Jaehyun couldn't dare to open them. He curled himself up, not trusting anyone at this point until he felt a hand on his back. He slowly and gently opened his eyes to see his kidnapper on the floor unconscious. Tears of relief made their way in his brown eyes as he eased up on the floor, knowing he is safe now. He looked up and saw the love of his life with a soft and caring smile. It felt like he fell in love with Taeyong all over again, a tear from Taeyong's eyes fell on Jaehyun's cheek, mixing up with his own tears as he broke down in painful sobs.

"You're okay! Y-you're okay!" Taeyong cried. Jaehyun nodded as he was embraced in a warm and familiar frame. He was so happy to be back to him.

"Hendery! Get this cunt outta here and grab a blanket for Jaehyun." Officer Lav called out to her junior as she ushered Yuta to go and join the busy duo. Yuta simply declined, letting the two have their own bubble settled. The unconscious man was taken away.

Jaehyun's somewhat clothed body was now warmly covered with a heavy blanket and was taken to the hospital for further treatment. Taeyong wanted to go with Jaehyun, fearing he will lose his boyfriend. again but Yuta told him not to worry and was taken back to his apartment. Taeyong was sad that he couldn't join his boyfriend in the hospital but on the brighter side, he was beyond happy that Jaehyun was found and his kidnapper was arrested.

Yuta and Taeyong pulled up from their car and they head to the said apartment. The younger held his doorknob and Taeyong remembered that he had locked his door before he left. He told Yuta about it before he opened the door and Yuta took out his handgun and held it in his right hand and opened the door with his left hand. He opened it and pointed his gun at the people inside. He could hear the shrieks from the people. Taeyong's eyes widen when he realised who they were.

"Mom?!" Taeyong asked shocked, not thinking his mum and sister would come to his family. Yuta put his gun down as bowed in apology.

"Dear, who is he?" Mrs Lee asked in nervousness.

"Mum, he is my bodyguard, Nakamoto Yuta. Don't worry, he won't cause harm." Taeyong said awkwardly. He walked close to his mom and hugged her and gently. "How did you get in?" His mother laughed softly.

"I got the spare key from your Noona."

"Why are you here, mom? I thought you would disown-"

"Shush!" Mrs Lee shuts him down and smiled softly. "I did see the news and come here. I've never seen this bold side of you. You always were more feminine like but I saw a man in you when you were getting interviewed by that woman. I'm proud of you. When can I meet my future son-in-law, by the way?" Mrs Lee smiled cheekily and Taeyong hugged the woman firmly while letting his happy tears down.

"Thank you, mom. I never thought you would accept me being a part of the LGTBQ. I love you, mum." He said honestly. His mom smiled warmly.

"Anything for you, sweetheart." Yuta saw the scene unfold and wiped a stray tear while missing his mum.

"Yuta, you're Japanese?" Yuta nodded. "Hm. Did you two eat anything?" Both the boys shook their heads as to no. "I got some food, let's have some."

The two boys and Mrs Lee had their dinner together and spent some time talking, asking about their lives and work. Taeyong got to know Yuta has a boyfriend too which shocked him and reminded him of having a tiny crush on the said man. Mrs Lee seemed to like Yuta a lot which made Taeyong wonder if she would like Jaehyun or not. Jaehyun was far more different from Yuta just the sun and the moon. If Jaehyun is hot and reckless like the sun, Yuta is cool and calm like the moon.

Soon, Yuta headed to the hospital to keep a safe eye on Jaehyun, while the mother-son duo was left back at the apartment. Taeyong laid his head on his mum's lap while she gently stroked his grey hair.

"Why do you kids do such weird hair dyes. You look so old!" Mrs Lee joked.

"But Jaehyun liked it so much!"

"Oh? Why do you like him so much, tho? Because he likes your grey hair?" Mrs Lee smiled smugly.

"Haha! No, he is sweet, caring, stubborn and handsome and my type. I never even dreamt of loving a guy but he is different." Taeyong confessed.

"How did you meet him?"

"Through Instagram. I saw his username pop while in my live. It was so eye-catching. Later he texted me something but deleted it so in my curiosity I asked him what did he text me and he kept saying nothing much and so so. That's how we started talking. After like four or five months. He suddenly blurted out he liked me and then I realised I liked him too, that's when we went further with our friendship." Mrs Lee listened to his sweet love story intently.

"I might get diabetes today." Mrs Lee laughed while Taeyong looked at her confused.

"Oh my God, why?"

"You have such a sweet love story." Taeyong's mom softly kissed his forehead making the boy chuckle and gesturing him to get off and go to bed which the younger did without any question. "Good night, love." She said as she went into the guest room and called it a day. Taeyong said it back and headed to his bedroom. Laying softly, he felt slumber take over his silhouette as relief of Jaehyun getting found flushing in his mind.
