Tasting the food, Everly was eating after I could see how much she was enjoying it, tasted so good.

Now I could understand why my sister was reacting like that.

Asking her what made our cook to make this dish, she told me that my dear wife had made it and not our chef.

Stopping my chewing, I coughed and she laughed at me, offering me a glass of water, asking me if I was OK, I just said "Wow" to her. I then gave her back her food and told her, I had an important meeting to attend and excused myself. I knew I had no meetings to attend, but I just needed to get away for a while because of so many things.

Watching Rayne interact with my family was giving me all sorts of feelings.

First I watched her shock as she saw Everly for the first time, she composed herself within seconds and didn't even let Everly see her shock, then she spoke to Everly like she didn't even notice her disability at all and she was another normal person that she was talking to.

Watching them bond, made me feel left out in a way, even when she arrived, my grandma seemed to forget about me and paid all her attention to Rayne.

Next when I walked into the room as she was finishing her makeup, I remembered once again how attractive my wife really is in anything she wears, without saying a word to me, she left the room.

After that was when I heard Everly moaning as she ate.

I went to see what was going on and noticed Rayne sitting with her one leg on top of the other, making her dress to rise higher, seeing the sexy creamy skin on her legs, caused me to harden. That's why I went and stood near Everly so nobody was able to see my reaction.

Finding out the food was cooked by Rayne was the last straw for me tonight, I had to get away, before I did something I would regret.

Driving straight to my museum, I went inside.

Calling the manager to find out about the latest with our shipment of the dinosaur bones, we continued chatting until it got very late and I knew Rayne would have gone to sleep already, so it was safe for me to go home.

Stepping into my room, I could smell Rayne's fragrance all over the place.

Opening my closet, I pulled out a towel and went into the bathroom to shower before bed.

Finishing up, I put on some clothes and got into my bed.

I had a king size bed, but I didn't let Rayne sleep far from me, as I have done from the time we got married, I wrapped her up in my arms and slept.

In the morning, I awoke early, showered and changed, then left before Rayne could wake up.

Taking my keys I ran out the palace to go to the harbor to watch my shipments coming in.

While waiting, I noticed a very small child looking through the bins.

Going up to her, I asked what she was doing. She said she was hungry and was looking for something to eat for herself and her ill mum.

Bending down to her level, I asked if she could show me her mum then I would get them some food to eat.

Agreeing to my request I held her hand as she lead me to her mum, who I saw laying on the side walk, sweating profusely.

Upon close inspection, I saw that she was pregnant and also totally dehydrated from the pain.

Taking my phone out, I called for a doctor to come treat her,but the number went straight onto voicemail.

Having no other option, I dialed the palace number and asked to speak to Rayne to see if she could maybe help this lady out by treating her.

Hearing Rayne answer the call, I said, "Hi Rayne, it's Kellen. I have a pregnant lady here who is in alot of pain and since I am unable to get a doctor available, I was wondering...., before I could finish, she asked me where about I was, so she could come to see the lady, telling her I had already told my driver to bring her here, so she should go down to come with him, she replied ok.

Within half an hour, Rayne was by me.

Taking a pair of gloves and a mask out her bag, she put it on and came to examine the lady.

Coming to me, she asked if there was anyway I would be able to take this lady to a flatter surface, because to her, this lady looks like her baby might be bridged and due to that she was in severe pain.

Asking my bodyguards to carry this lady to a grassy area, which they did, I asked Rayne whether that was better.

Showing her approval she got to work on the lady, twisting and shoving the lady's stomach, turning the baby around.

Feeling proud of her work, she told the lady that she needed to get an ultrasound done, as soon as possible to rule out any other complications.

The woman nodded, telling Rayne she will, it's just that right now she and her daughter were very hungry.

Smiling at the lady, Rayne said I took abit long to come here because I figured that you might be hungry, so I prepared some food for you which would also be enough for your little girl as well.

Thanking Rayne, both mother and daughter sat down, to eat their food and drink their hot cocoa as well.

Coming to stand by me, Rayne smiled at them, and told them that the only way she would accept their gratitude, was if they finished all their food and drinks, which they gladly did.

Once they were done, Rayne asked the lady about her situation and after the lady whose name (I found out then only), is Bianca, told her everything, Rayne asked her to meet her at the same place tomorrow, by then she would have a solution to her problem.

Opening her bag and taking out some money, giving it to Bianca, Rayne asked her to find a shelter to stay at for tonight and also buy some food for herself and her daughter later.

Watching Rayne go into action mode, when there is a problem, always fills me with pride.

Giving Bianca a hug, Rayne bid her goodbye.

Bending down, she called Bianca's daughter Lucia and hugged her, asking her to take care of her mum, till tomorrow for her.

Lucia nodded her head and ran back to her mummy straight after.

Looking at Rayne as we went back to the car, I thought to myself that maybe getting her to complete her studies was the right thing to do and I should speak to grandma to find out where the right college would be.

Rayne opened the door of my car and sat inside for me to take her back home, because the driver whom she had come with had already left after dropping her off earlier.

Starting the engine, I drove to my favorite restaurant, Old Care, knowing Rayne probably didn't eat breakfast as yet.

Parking my car, I jumped out and went to her side to open the door for her.

Stepping out, she looked around at the view, smiling she told me how beautiful everything was.

Taking her hand, I led her inside and asked the waiter who came to serve us for a table for 2.

Once we were shown our table, we sat down and looked at the menus, telling the waiter what we wanted to order.

"Kellen, I need a favor from you please", Rayne said

Looking at her to continue....

She said, "Can you please do a background check on Bianca for me?"

Taking my phone out my pocket, I called my friend who happened to be a private investigator, I asked him to do the background check.

By that time, our food had arrived, so Rayne thanked me for calling my friend, before we started eating.

As soon as we were done, we headed back to the palace.

Dropping off Rayne, I saw my grandma standing by the door, so I pulled Rayne to me and kissed her before letting her go.

I then reversed and drove back out.

Picking up my phone, I called the museum to find out if the shipment had arrived, which they confirmed.

Telling them I was on my way to see it and sign the documents, I drove straight there.

Arriving there, I got to work checking the shipment, after being satisfied all was in order, I told the guys to go and set it up for tonight's exhibition.

Going into the manager's office, I sat with him going through the plans for the exhibition.

When I was done, I drove back to the palace.

Seeing a florist, I stopped to buy some roses for Rayne, to thank her for her help earlier on.
