This was a flashback to 2 years ago!

3rd POV
Penny couldn't believe it she was finally in middle school. She could see all of her friends including her best friend and childhood crush Theodore Huxley. Yes Penny was crushing on her best friend. Penny may have more confidence than the average teen but telling her crush she liked him how about we never do that. She would love to tell Ted but she can't she just gets way to scared.

Penny gets out of her mom's car and walks to the front gate. She notices Carla is already there. She smiled and walked towards her. She had known Carla her whole life it felt like they were best friends. Penny had known Felix and Ted for 5 years at the time. She met them when she was in kindergarten. Penny always felt better when near them.

Carla knew all about her crush she could easily tell ted but she is Penny's best friend. She knew that Penny was helpless around Ted. Penny didn't want to be but she couldn't help it. Carla has sworn to keep that secret. But for how long?
