ooo. Giada Aguilar hadn't thought about love in a long time. She'd had boyfriends and girlfriends, but nothing too serious. She had her best friends and that's all that she needed. Until she started feeling that unfamiliar tug in her stomach every time she was near him.

Lamine Yamal was Giada's best guy friend. He had been since they were kids. She shouldn't, couldn't, like him. Of course, friends intermingled sometimes, but not them! Giada had always raved about how they seemed to be the only guy-girl friendship that didn't have any hidden romantic feelings.

The boy had always agreed, too. They were two peas in a pod. Two platonic peas. So why was she feeling like this? It wasn't reciprocated and it was silly to think it ever would be.

ooi. Lamine was on Giada Aguilar's mind nonstop. She couldn't study, work, or function without thinking about him. How was she supposed to come to terms with that? Well, her friends were hellbent on getting her to accept it, so they do everything in their power to get Giada to accept her feelings and for Lamine to make the first move as they knew Giada would never.

This was going to be one interesting way to end their senior year.

ii. Had random inspo to write and I figured Lamine wld be the easiest to write for as teenagers are the easiest since i'm a teen.. so I hope this makes a select group of people (elena) very very very happy!
