The host, Jo Seho, approached Jungkook.

"What is that in your hand?" He asked coldly.

"I-im sorry if I ran a little late. I went to get you guys some hamburgers..." Jungkook reaches his hand with he hamburgers to the host. The host pushes his hand away and walks away from him looking pissed. Jungkook, looking upset, sits at the front facing the camera crew. His eyes were watery.

"Actually, Hey Jungkook come. Look, he brought us hamburgers," says another host. At the sound of his name Jungkook stands up and walks toward them.

"Yeah, I brought burgers! I even brought Coke and Sprite!" He says enthusiastically which breaks my heart.

Jo Seho gets a hold of the bag and looks at the burgers inside.

"Forget it, these...look more like leftovers,"

That was it

I had enough.

I leave my camera and clench my fist. I was not going to care if the live television would see me get in a fight or if I would lose my job but, I was not going to let these hosts be jerks to a nice guy that spent money on them.

Jaehwa notices my anger and stops me before I can give a step forward.
"Leave me alone! What they're doing is so mean! Can't you see the poor guy is on the verge of tears??!"

"I know, Lily, I know. Don't risk your job for this. You can just talk to Jungkook at the end of the show and make him feel better, I don't know. Just please don't do this," as much as I hate to admit it, she had a point.

I sigh

"Fine!" I go back to my camera and control myself. I almost cried seeing the boy laughing with that pain inside of him. I just wanted to hug him or ask him if he could give me the burgers to make him smile. His expression really hurt my heart. This had to be one of the worst moment of working here.

When the show ended I rushed to a crew member that was carrying the burgers.

"What are you going to do with the burgers?" I ask

"Oh uh, throw them away.... That's what I was ordered to do," He responds.

"Can I have them? Who would want to waste these burgers? They smell so good!" I nervously laugh.

"Uh...yeah sure! They're all yours," The crew member hands the bag to me and I go to my camera. Starting to put my camera equipment away.

I didn't notice Jungkook had seen that.

"Uhh.... Lily...?" I hear and look up to see Jaehwa.

"Yeah?"

"Look behind you," Jaehwa whispers.

I turn around and to my surprise I see Jungkook there.

"Thank you f-for taking the burgers. Do you mind if I take you out for a proper meal sometime?"

I couldn't accept his offer after HE was the one that spent the money on the burgers.

"No, ill treat you. After all, you bought these right? It's my turn to buy"

When I said no he looked upset but his expression lit up when he heard the rest of the sentence.

We exchanged phone numbers

"Please don't give it to anyone.."

"Don't worry, you can trust me" I assure him and he smiles.

"And don't worry about the hosts, Jungkook. They were being jerks." He smiles.

"Thank you," he says as he gives me a hug.
