~2 Months Later~

I replace my shoes with my house slippers as I enter my house back from work. I still hadn't gotten used to living alone after my parents left two weeks ago. My mom managed to get an apartment and I was happy for her, but she still didn't do anything about the fact that my father was doing nothing. I was sick of it, but she told me not to do anything because she had it under control.

I switch on the t.v. as I lay on my couch ready to take a nap. My eyes slowly close. But not long after, a knock on my door is heard followed by a message at the same time.

"Be right there!" I shout at the door, hoping the visitors heard me. I pick up my phone to check the message.

Jungkook: open the door! I'm right outside!!

A small feeling of panic enters my body. Jungkook shouldn't be coming over yet. It's still too risky. I put my phone down and quickly go open the door.

"Jungkook, what are you-"

"Surprise!" Jungkook smiles widely as I stand in the door completely speechless. Jungkook was there outside looking handsome as always with a bouquet of flowers and what looks like a box of donuts (my favorite to be exact).

"Jungkook you're putting us at big risk!" I whisper-shout.

"Who says? My dating ban is over and I thought you checked social media..?" He said, confusion all over his face.

"What about social media?" I ask.

"Our relationship has been announced by Bighit, finally!" He puts everything in the floor to hug me. I slowly hug him back while everything he just said starts processing in my head.

     "What does this...mean?" I pull away looking at him. Did this mean we could finally go out together? Hang out at the park without him covering his face in the mask and hoodie?

     "Well, it means I can take you out on a date today and no one would spread rumors," he says with excitement. If I had to be honest, I would say I'd never seen Jungkook this happy. A few tear drops fall down my eyes mainly after seeing his bunny smile wider than ever.

     "And I brought you these because I love you so much!" He gives me the bouquet and donuts while he wipes my tears. "That's great, Jungkook. This is really great," I hug him again.
 
     He suddenly interwines our fingers and puts his presents aside. "Where are we going?" I ask.

     "On a date," he smiles down at me while walking me to his car.

     "Oh, Jungkook, at least let me change clothes." I was wearing a super simple outfit.

     "But you look beautiful like that," he looks back at me with a pout. This boy was too adorable.

     "Ugh, fine!" I give up and he opens his car door for me to enter.

     "So...where are we going?" I ask. It had been thirty minutes in the road that I wondered how far this place must be.

      "Just this cute restaurant I've always wanted to go to with my significant other," he looks at me through the mirror with a smile.
    
     "You're so cute, I swear," I said. A sudden notification on my phone interrupts and I take my phone out to check it.

Jaehwa: your relationship with Jungkook is official now!

Lily: I know! He's taking me on a date💜

Jaehwa: that quickly? Lmao it just came out two hours ago.

     I exit the message and see a lot of notifications from social media. A lot of people have now started following and left comments on my posts.. I check one of the posts I had been tagged on by many and see it was the official Bighit statement.

     Hello, Bighit here! We wanted to announce that our dear Bangtan maknae, Jeon Jungkook has been done with his dating ban for a while now. He has now found a girl and they've gotten closer these days. We hope you can support them and not leave hate. To the new couple! Park Lily and Jeon Jungkook!

     Under that was a picture of Jungkook and I. I knew there were going to be people who supported us and people who didn't. I knew maybe I shouldn't check the comments yet, but out of curiosity, my eyes drifted to the comment section.

     "What the hell? Who's this Lily rat girl think she is"

     "Aww congratulations Jungkook! She sounds like a beautiful kind girl!"

     "I'm a little sad, not gonna lie. But I'm happy for you, Kookie❤️"

     "Uh what?! NO sorry PaRk liLy but Jungkook be mine and Only mine LMAO who does she think she is?!"

     "Yay! I'm glad Jungkook found someone🎉he deserves to be with someone who loves him."

     "Park Lily he's all yours! Now take care of him for us won't you?💗and congratulations!"

     I would be lying if I said the mean comments didn't hurt me, because they did. I felt like crying every time I read them. Maybe I didn't even notice a few tear drops drop from my eye.

     "W-why are you crying?" Jungkook asks, his eyes leaving the road to look at me for a few seconds." I stay silent and he looks at my phone screen. He sighs, realizing what he saw.

     "I hope they're happy tears from the nice comments." He said and I chuckle in response.
Obviously he knew I was crying because of the opposite reason.

     "Look, not everyone is going to accept us, but they'll get over it. Just focus on the ones that do. They'll all find their future someone one day, the haters. Just ignore them for now. The world is full of people and not all of them are going to be kind, but there are kind people left in this world. In fact, there's one right next to me.," he laughs and gently wipes my tears with his thumbs. He was right, I shouldn't focus on the negatives when the positives existed. There was no reason for me to feel this way.

     I look at him and smile at how focused he looks driving. I shift my gaze and turn to look at the long road ahead of us~
