  "Ahh...Lily how do you feel about a long, long road trip today? You can bring your boyfriend if you want," Jaehwa says while we both pack our camera equipment, ready to go home.

"Uhhh, that sounds nice but must be some other time mate," I reply, shrugging. Yeah, I was not about to miss that date with Taeyong. Dates with him were rare and I hoped after we made up that he also meant that dates wouldn't be so rare anymore.

"Why is that?" She asks, suspicion all over her eyes. I smile at her question excited to tell her all about it.

"Wellll, me and Taeyong kinda made up and we are going on a date today...."

"Oh wow! Congrats! I kinda figured out. You looked a tad bit happier today," I shyly smiled at her comment.

"Did I really?" I ask. As soon as I do she starts nodding like crazy which makes me laugh because she looked funny.

It was currently 6:45 pm and Taeyong promised to pick me up at 7:00 pm.

We would be going to the amusement park so what was the point of going all fancy? I was wearing black jeans with a white shirt, converse, and a gray cardigan since nights during fall were quite chilly here.

I don't wear makeup. Well, only on special occasions. Today was a special occasion but once again, we were going to the amusement park which meant I would probably sweat and that would look gross. I simply just applied my favorite pink lip gloss and curled my eyelashes. I heard the door knock and assumed that was Taeyong. I applied my finishing touch which was just my favorite mist, grabbed my bag, and ran to the door.

I opened the door to reveal Taeyong dressed up really casual but he managed to look really handsome.

"Are you ready?" He smiled, blushing a bit.

"Um...yeah...wait no...I forgot my phone. Let me go for it really quick!" I thought I forgot something. I usually leave it in the back pocket of my jeans but I didn't feel it. I quickly went up the stairs to my room and grabbed my phone. I tried turning it on but failed.

"Darn, I forgot to charge it.....ugh I'll just leave it charging," I whisper to myself. I had forgotten to charge my phone after I came back from work.

"Did you get your phone?" Taeyong asked as he met me at the bottom of the stairs.

"Uhh...Well I forgot to charge it and it was dead so I just left it charging. Not like I need it over there," I say and he nods understanding.

"Well, we should get going since its a one hour drive," Taeyong says as he offers his hand which I happily accept.

Jungkook P.O.V

I knew damn well that Lily was not single but here I was not letting go of her. To be honest, it wasn't so simple. She actually made me fall for her when she comforted me after that incident. That day I was feeling embarrassed, angry, and all the negative emotions that exist. That's why I at least wanted to be friends with her, even if I had feelings for her...

I texted her earlier today that we should go to the new amusement park that had opened. Everyone was talking about it and I'm sure it'll make great memories. I told her I could pick her up but she didn't respond so I assumed maybe she wanted to go there herself.

I drove myself there, a long drive it was. I texted her to meet me by the Ferris wheel at 8:05 and it was currently 7:54. I sat in a chair nearby and I turned my face in every direction trying to spot her, the darkness making it harder to recognize faces.

I called her to make sure she wasn't lost and maybe was running a bit late but she didn't respond.

Maybe she has her phone on silent?

I waited there for a few more minutes. The minutes eventually turned into hours.

8:30 turned to 8:40 and 8:45 to 9:05.

My excitement drained and now I didn't know if I should leave or not. A part of me was telling me that maybe she didn't want to come or she forgot. But part of me wanted me to stay because maybe she was running late and was hoping I hadn't left. But if she was, wouldn't she have left me a message telling me so?

I decided to leave but as soon as I was about to stand up I heard a familiar voice behind me, her voice~

"Ooh, I really want to go to the Ferris wheel!" I smiled. So she didn't ditch Me! I turned around but she wasn't looking nor talking to me. She was a couple feet away with a boy...perhaps the boyfriend she told me about. I mean, they were holding hands....

"Well, then let's go on the Ferris wheel," the boy said, smiling down at her and giving her a peck on the lips as she blushed.

Yep, totally her boyfriend.

The guy was way better looking than me. He was all that boyfriend material. I was nothing compared to him. Why did I ever think she would maybe, just maybe choose me over him?

I turned my phone on and went back to the messages. I was so stupid to notice that none of them were even read. I felt a few tear drops fall down my eyes. I put my mask down and wiped them. I turned away and walked out. I didn't want to ruin their date or anything.
