Chapter 1

(Neither I, nor the fictional version of myself depicted in this story owns Kim Possible. Kim Possible is owned by Disney. As one day the entire world will be owned by Disney. All hail the mouse.)

"I'M NOT CRAZY!!!!" the young agent Kim Possible yelled as she was dragged into the mental hospital in a straitjacket.

The guards holding her were directed to the cell where Kim would be kept.

"You can't do this!" Kim yelled. "Don't you know who I am?"

The guards closed and locked the door.

"I'M KIM POSSIBLE!" Kim yelled. "I'm a HERO!!!!"

"AND I'M A GYANT SQUID!!!!!!" Came another voice from further in the building.

...

A few days later a detective came into the asylum. He was let into Kim's cell.

"Greetings detective." Kim said with a smile. She was wearing a white t-shirt, and white pants as was accustomed for patients in the asylum, and her hair was messy, as though she had just gotten out of bed. Kim had covered herself in crosses using a black marker. She had also drawn scribblings all over the walls and floor.

"Kim Possible, I see you've redecorated." The detective said.

"Yeah, I feel the Feng Shui is much better now." Kim replied. "Is that what it's called? Feng Shui?"

"I see." Said the detective.

"Why don't you take a seat?" Kim pointed to a drawing of a dining room table and chairs on the floor.

"No thanks I'll stand." The detective said.

Kim walked over to a drawing of a hot water heater. "Sorry I didn't make enough coffee; I wasn't expecting guests." She took a sip out of an imaginary cup of coffee.

"Oh, that's fine." The detective said.

"So, why did you come here detective." Kim asked.

"First of all, I would like to thank you for your efforts keeping this country safe." The detective said. "Second, I have a few questions to ask."

"ask away."

"Now I'm told when you arrived just two days ago, you were screaming to be let go." The detective said. "You've changed rather quickly."

"I've come to realize it's safer in here." Kim said. "What with Armageddon being upon us and all." A huge smile spread across Kim's face. She stood still for a few moments.

"So, what else did you want to ask." Kim quickly returned to normal. "I'm sure you didn't come all this way just to check up on me."

"It's about your last mission." The detective said.

"Yeah that didn't go so well." Kim replied.

The detective looked around. "I see. So, word is you were on a rescue mission, to rescue a writer by the name of Tyler Joseph."

"Wasn't much of a rescue." Kim replied.

"What became of Tyler?"

"He's no longer with us." Kim said.

"So, he's dead."

"No." Kim replied.

"He's alive then?"

"Also no." Kim replied. "I don't think the terms life or death apply to Tyler Joseph anymore."

"How do you mean?" The detective asked.

"That's a long story." Kim replied.

"Just start at the beginning." The detective suggested.

"Alright," Kim said. "So, trillions of years ago, there was nothing. Then BOOM! There was this HUGE explosion."

"Not the beginning of the universe, Kim." The detective said. "The beginning of your story."

"Oh right," Kim said, "I gotcha. So I was born about 19 years ago give or take a few months..."

"TYLER! What happened to Tyler Joseph?" The detective snapped.

"Or right him," Kim said. "Well that. Well that's a different story. It all started as many of my life stories do... In a fight with the diabolical Doctor Drakken..."

...

So, there I was. Once again tied up in one of Drakken's evil schemes. Literally.

I was tied to a metal pole of some sort in Drakken's layer, and of course I had to listen to one of his long-winded speeches about how he was going to "take over the world."

"So, Kim Possible," Drakken taunted. "Once again you have fallen into one of my ingenious traps... It's only a matter of time before I gain access to the satellite and direct the suns beams to melt the polar ice caps. And then..."

"You know I'm going to stop you right?" I said. Honestly, I was getting really tired of his speeches.

"Oh, on the contrary Kim Possible." Drakken gloated. "For you will soon be on a one was trip to your doom. See once this timer hits zero, the floor beneath you will open up, sending you hurdling into a pit of man-eating sharks!"

"Look Drakken," I said. "You always put me into these overly complicated, and elaborate traps. And they always give me just enough time to escape. If you really wanted to get rid of me, why don't you just shoot me in the face. I mean how many times have you had me tied up and completely helpless? Has it really never occurred to you to just put a bullet in my brain?"

In hindsight, when someone literally has you tied up and helpless. It's probably not a good idea to suggest that they shoot you. But come on, this is doctor Drakken we're talking about. He would never in a million years actually shoot me. He probably wouldn't even know what to do with himself without me around.

Then the impossible happened.

"Alright then." Drakken said. Then he pulled out a handgun and aimed it at my face.

"WWWAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!" I shrieked. My heart stopped and I could see my life flash before my eyes. This was it, this was the end. I was going to die.

Drakken pulled the trigger and I closed my eyes. I heard a click, then nothing. I opened my eyes.

Drakken was angerly shaking his gun around.

"Dang it! Out of ammo." Drakken yelled. "Shego! Have you been using my gun?"

Shego sat on a chair by the main control panel in the room. She had her feet on the counter, and she was reading a book.

"Nope, I have no idea what you're talking about." Shego replied.

Little did Drakken know, nearly every night, Shego would swipe Drakken's gun while he was asleep, and go out into the nearest field and start shooting old bottles. She was usually shit faced drunk while doing this.

It didn't take long for Ron to sneak into the vents and untie me while Drakken and Shego argued.

Ron said something, probably asking if I was ok. I didn't hear him I was too busy focusing on the fact that I was almost shot.

"He... he shot me..." The words escaped my mouth. I was brought back to reality with a swift kick to the gut. I landed on my butt and looked up to see that Shego's hands had started to glow green. She had that sadistic smile she so often had.

I got back to my feet.

Out of all the villains I fought. Shego was one of the few that actually frightened me. Mostly because she has actual fucking superpowers.

Lord Monkeyfist gives me the creeps too, but that's just because he's a rather creepy guy. However Monkey fist is well... dead, so yeah.

Shego slashed and got me in the face, slicing my check open.

And damn does that shit hurt.

She swung at me again, but I managed to dodge it. I countered with a punch to Shego's gut. The wind was knocked out of her, but she maintained her footing.

I jumped into the air and round house kicked Shego in the face. My foot hit her lower jaw and dislocated it.

Shego stumbled back a bit. She grabbed her own jaw and popped it back into place. She blasted me in the stomach with a green energy blast. I let out a scream as I went flying through the air.

Man did that burn. Shego's powers have grown in the years. My skin was burning, smoke rose from where Shego had hit me, a red circle had formed on my stomach. I was pretty sure I had gotten a second-degree burn.

I just had to go back to the crop tops, didn't I?

"What's the matter Kim." Shego taunted. "Head not in the game?"

"Kim! I got the counter virus thingy uploading!" Ron shouted. He had plugged a flash drive into Drakken's computer which contained code to stop the virus he was downloading into some satellite in space.

Soon the cops had arrived to arrest Drakken and Shego.

"You think you're all that Kim Possible, but you're not!" Drakken yelled as he was hauled off in a squad car. Just like he always did when Ron and I foiled his plans. After all these years, I just couldn't believe that guy was so quick to just shoot me.

"Wow Kim, that looks really bad." Ron said, noticing the burn on my belly.

"Yeah, that's what happens when you get blasted with pure energy." I said. I held the burn wound on my stomach. "I can't believe Drakken actually shot me though."

"He shot you?!?!" Ron said with shock and concern in his voice. "With what?"

"A gun..." I replied. "Like an actual gun with real bullets. Thank God it was out of ammo though. But he actually pulled the trigger, without hesitating. He didn't even know it was out of ammo. He would have killed me! Just like that!"

"Well I mean, he is a bad guy..." Ron said. "I think the government even has him classified as a terrorist. Hasn't he tried to kill you before?"

"Yeah but he was always such a... cheesy bad guy." I replied. "He'd always use some overcomplicated trap. Something I could easily get out of. But a bullet? It's just so... deliberate."

We got in my car. I asked Ron to drive, I didn't think I could pay attention to the road.

"All this time. Every mission I've been on. I never even considered the possibility that..." I said. "That I wouldn't come back."

"KP, if it makes you feel any better, I swiped that book Shego was reading." Ron said. "It's in the back seat."

I reached back and grabbed the book. I looked at the cover.

"The Doorboy Horror by Tyler Joseph?" I read the title out loud. "What kind of name is Doorboy."

"That's actually the author's hometown." Ron replied.

I looked at the back cover to see a picture of this Tyler Joseph guy.

He was a rather unassuming man. He was tall and skinny. He wore a black baseball cap and sunglasses. He had red-brown hair and a beard to match.

That was the first time I ever heard of or saw Tyler Joseph. No way could I have known what he really was.

I should never have taken that mission.
