Kim was waiting on news from the Doctor in charge, Dr. Hyacinth Halstead.

Kim saw her coming out of the surgery room and she nodded to Kim to let her know that he was okay and she sighed in relief, and headed to his hospital room to see him and gave him the biggest hug of his life and he hugged her back.

Calvin released the hug and said," I know who attacked me, it was your ex-boyfriend, Zach Ruzek. He came here after I picked the kids up from Daycare.

Kim nodded and texted everything that her dad told her to her best friend Kevin Atwater so that way he can be in the loop and he offered his support for her.

Hank Voight puts up pictures of Kim's kids, Kendall, Scarlett, Arlo, and Amari.

Everyone headed downstairs, Jay and Antonio headed to Antonio's Blue pickup.

Erin got inside Hank's dark SUV and buckled up her seat belt and Hank drove.

Adam got inside his green Pickup and Alvin got inside and he saw Adam was sad and he asked," what's going on, Kid. You're thinking about something.

Adam Said," My older Brother got a girl pregnant in high school and I can't help but think I am their Uncle and I'm sad because he said she got rid of the babies.

Alvin said," I understand how you must be feeling but don't think about it now.

Adam nods and Adam checks out multiple locations before remembering his mom's house in Canaryville and he heads inside to see his brother with 4 kids.

Adam said Calmly," Chicago PD, show me your hands and drop the gun now.

Zach then shoots his brother in the leg and runs off, Adam leads the kids outside the house where the Ambo was waiting for them and he then collapses in Alvin's arms and he is carried to another Ambo and taken to the hospital right away.

Adam was wheeled into Surgery and Kim was reunited with her kids.

Kim said," Kendall, Scarlet, Arlo, and Amari, I'm glad you are safe and sound.

Kendall, Scarlet, Arlo, and Amari said," We missed you, Mommy. Love you.

Kim said," I love you kids too. She looked at her co-workers in gratefulness.

Kim said," Thank you for saving my kids. It means a lot to me.

Jay said," No problem, Kim. Adam saved them, not us. He's the one you should thank.

Adam was wheeled into a Recovery room and placed next to her dad.

Kim said," Thank you Adam for saving my kids. It means a lot to me.

Adam said," No problem, Kim. I'm just thankful they are safe and sound. Are they my nephews and nieces? You don't have to answer if you don't want to.

Kim said," yes They are your nephews and nieces. I'm sorry for not telling you about them and I didn't know he had a little brother to be honest with you.

Adam said," I forgive you. You did what you had to do to keep them safe.

Kim said," you can come over and visit them anytime you want Adam Ruzek.

Adam said," Thank you Kim. I appreciate it. It means a lot to me, Kim. night.

Kim said," night Adam. Kim and her kids head home and go to bed.
