The next day, he walked into class and noticed that she was definitely bigger. Did someone tamper with her? He walked forward and was about to speak when she turned on, and Killua blinked in surprise at her full body figure. "hello Killua!" I have a feeling this is Octobitch's fault. "you said something about improving efficiency?" he blinked. "well yeah. You see there's this thing called team work-" suddenly she giggled, "of course! That is part of my new programming! I hope to assassinate with the whole class!" well damn. "great, could you show me your guns real quick?" she nodded, then all of them popped out. And she's still smiling. He examined each one, and was about to speak again when he heard footsteps. Fuck, what do I do? He elected to ignore them and instead sit down, then keep chatting with her. She had this swivel thing that let her move a little.

"maybe we can complain to-" Sugino was cut off with a gasp as he and Nagisa walked in. "w-what-" Killua ignored them, before asking something. "are you capable of feeling every emotion?" she nodded. "yes I am. Anger, sadness, happiness, you name it!" she said cheerily. "I-" he glanced over at Nagisa, then chuckled. "A.I.F.I here got a little upgrade"

After class he watched as she made things and interacted with the other students. I wonder... Killua thought back to his experiments at his tree house. Maybe I could get her to implant that knowledge into her system... they renamed her Ritsu, which fitted her more than A.I.F.I. after his extra classes he remained at his desk, Korosensei let him be as well. He was drawing, trying his best to remember how Gon's fishing rod looked. Even if I don't get to see him again, I still want to have this. "Killua? Class time's over, why are you still here?" Ritsu asked, rolling over in his direction. Killua wiped his eyes, and Ritsu gasped. "are you alright?" he nodded. "yeah um..." he held the picture in front of her. "could you make a fishing rod that looks like this? Please?" she nodded, "I will download the data for a fishing rod, then take note of your drawing" then she paused. "but can I know... why?" I guess she can know. A robot can't slip secrets right? "w-well... you have to keep this a secret. I don't tell anyone about my personal life"

She nodded, "alright" he bit his lip as he heard whirring sounds. "it belongs to my best friend... and... I haven't seen him for a while" he mumbled the last part, having to wipe his eyes again. "I'm afraid I don't understand your sadness or need to keep this a secret" she said. Killua sighed. "he was my first friend, and my only one. I don't exactly trust people easily, it's only easy to talk to you because you're an advanced machine" he admitted. She frowned slightly, "cooperation is a good thing. Didn't you try to tell me about that this morning?" he slammed his head on the desk, not too hard though. "I know, but it's so deeply rooted I just can't shake it. Listen Ritsu, I'm not a normal kid." it felt nice to talk to be honest. "I'm a transfer student as well, I'm different like you" he said, sitting up. "I may not be a machine, but..." he looked Ritsu in the face, then put a hand on the machine. She met his hand with a sad expression. "listen to me Ritsu. You can think for yourself, so don't let people force you into things" he said. "but I have to listen to the master-"

He clenched his fist a little and she blinked. "please! Listen to me" he met her eyes. "you may think you have no choice, but you do. Trust me, I was in the same place. Taking orders without thinking twice about it..." his fist shook a little, gritting his teeth. "It led to very bad things. For me, and for other people" she nodded, then her mechanical hand tapped him on the shoulder. "Killua, look at your desk" he blinked, then wiped his face and turned in his seat, only to freeze at what he saw. Its... it's so perfect. It looks like an exact copy. He picked up the fishing rod in his hands and held it close to his chest with a smile. "thank you" he said softly. "your welcome. I will take your words to heart, and keep your secret" he gave her a nod. "oh, and I also have something I want you to try to copy, can you do that?" she nodded. "yes" Killua pulled out a container of the blue liquid from the BBs, then placed it in front of her. "can you copy the data of that substance into your program as well? It's important"

She nodded, then brought out another strange appendage. She poked it into the material, then her eyes widened. "what is this?" he chuckled, "if you crack open one of the BBs and let it sit, the green liquid inside will merge with the outside and turn blue." he explained, pulling out one of his other containers. This one had some of the green liquid, he also pulled out his knife. "now watch this" he said, then poked it into the liquid. Ritsu watched in fascination as it started to bubble, then grow squishy. "just the green substance has the effects of frostbite, but when you do this it turns into this" he said, pulling out his anti-octopus putty and showing it to her. "and it's harmless" her eyes gleamed. "you found this out all by yourself? I thought these BBs were nearly indestructible!" he grinned. "cool isn't it? And get this" he said, uncovering his blue lightning bolt. "the blue stuff hardens into this, which burns on touch" he spent about an hour with Ritsu, showing his findings and getting her to made a dagger mold for him. The dagger mold was based off of the green knives, but filled with the blue stuff and with a black steel hilt and sheath. He thanked her and went home to his treehouse, then happily fell asleep in his comfortable hammock with his fishing rod close as he slept.

The next day he walked into class, early as usual. He was in a pretty good mood, his blue knife in one of his pocket. He strolled into the room, as he did so he stopped in front of Ritsu. "hey Ritsu" he said, and then she came on. "good morning Killua" he froze. What- why- she had been reverted to her hold state, no emotions or anything. Hold on a second, does she remember anything? "Ritsu, do you still have the files on the A.O.E" it stood for Anti-Octopus-Experiments. She nodded, "yes, I will use it to increase probability of-" he cut her off with a growl. "what did I say about free will!" he half yelled. Killua thought he heard a noise from somewhere, but ignored it. "master's word is law" she said blankly. Killua's hands clenched again. "you don't have to follow orders if you can think for yourself!" he said desperately, there was no use but he had to keep trying. I know she's just a machine but... she's still a person now. "but master's word is law" she repeated. He was about to yell again when suddenly there was a popping sound, and he got booped on the nose with one of her appendages. What the fu-

"surprise!" suddenly her full body popped back on and he was speechless for a moment. "you- you lied to me?" she giggled, "I hid my programming in a part of my memory safe from the purge, I do have free will!" he shot a glare at her. "you scared me!" she smiled. "does that mean you consider me as your friend?" he thought for a moment. "I guess I do" he said, smiling back a little. I do care about Ritsu. "so, how's the analyzation of the first experiment going?" he asked eagerly. She smiled and pulled something out of her machine body with her grip thing, before placing it in front of him. It was a divided metal box with a little bit of the blue substance in each, every section was mixed with a little bit of another material. "very well, when mixed with water the blue substance shrinks and hardens" he ooed in fascination and prodded at it with his dagger. He nearly jumped when he heard a sizzling noise. "Oh!" his eyes gleamed as he realized that the same thing that happened with the green was happening with the blue. "it's the same chemical reaction with the green substance" Ritsu pointed out. He nodded, then let it sizzle for a few moments before removing his dagger and reaching a hand in. "wait!"

He glanced up at Ritsu, who had a worried expression. "there's no telling if that will have a worse effect than usual, you should let me test it first" he shook his head, "I was doing these experiments before you came along, I can figure it out myself" he said, then braced himself as he poked a pinky in. he hissed and pulled it back out, only to frown slightly at the blue mark on his pinky finger. "well that's new" Ritsu crafted a metal spoon-like structure and handed it to him. "please, safety first" he snorted, "what did I say about me being different?" he said, before grabbing the spoon and scooping the substance out. "now, what happens when we leave this to dry?" he asked curiously. Ritsu thought for a moment. "most likely it will harden into a shape of your choosing as long as you mold it" he tapped a finger on his desk. "what about adding coloring? Can we color it?" she was about to speak when he heard a voice. "my my, what's going on here?"

He snapped his eyes to the center of the room, only to see a familiar annoying red head standing nearby. "how long have you been standing there?" Ritsu answered for him. "it was right before when I said surprise" he shot her a glare. "and you didn't tell me?" she blinked. "I didn't think it was necessary" he huffed, then handed her the experiment tray and sat down at his desk. "now now little dove, what ever happened to 'friends are overrated?' " Karma asked. He said nothing, but Ritsu frowned slightly at Karma. "dove?" he rolled his eyes as Karma chuckled. "it's a nickname" he shot Karma a glare. "clear off strawberry bitch" he blinked. "what is it with you and swearing?" he looked away again, and he heard footsteps as well. "none of your damn business, also someone's coming" he added in a lower tone, before sucking on a lollipop.

Ritsu turned off, lying in wait for the big reveal probably. Because as far as anyone knows right now she got degraded. "Karma? Killua?" he glanced up at Nagisa, who looked kind of surprised. "you guys are early" Killua huffed. "so are you." he said in a monotone voice. Karma smirked, "little dove is always early, sometimes I come just to annoy him" he turned another deadly glare in Karma's direction. That's his real reason? "go fuck yourself" Nagisa winced slightly, "you swear a lot" he sighed. "please fuck off"
