six, "meet the hubby"

"Hey, Bruce! This is M'gann, Connor, Kaldur, and Artemis." Wally said, pointing out every person as he said their name.

"Come in, come in." The man smiled, shaking all their hands and patting Wally's back. The four that had never seen the Manor stepped forward in awe, taking in the beautiful foyer. Heveled art was on both walls, black side tables filled with plants an succulents on each side of the door. In Robin's words - it was turbing.

"How is he?" Wally whispered to the older man as they led the team through the foyer.

"Just as he was when you left a few hours ago. Do you want to go tell him everyone's here? I can keep the team busy," Bruce asked, and Wally nodded graciously. He began to point out large paintings as he felt the speedster run by.

Alfred even popped by to meet the team, offering a bowl of his best cookies. Each person took a handful, not being able to resist the loveliness that was Alfred Pennyworth's baking skills.

And then he jumped.

Seconds felt like hours as he fell through the air, wind pushing against gravity. His dark hair blew wildly as a look settled on his face. Was it regret? Happiness? Sadness? Guilt?

He shut his eyes, preparing to take his last breath.

Until arms grasped around him.

"Dickieeee!" Wally called upon entering the kitchen, well the main kitchen. Wayne Manor has three. "Baaaabe."

"Hi, Walls," Richard smiled, walking towards Wally and pecking his cheek. He was wearing ripped white jeans with one of Wally's oversized yellow sweatshirts tucked in at the front, the long sleeves falling just past his fingertips. Wally felt his heart warm at the outfit, he absolutely adored it when his boyfriend wore his clothes.

"Soon you closet is going to be all my clothes," Wally laughed, interlocking their hands and turning towards the shorter boy. "You look good in it though," he breathed.

"Ew! Please don't taint my young eyes!" A voice yelled out, startling Wally and Richard, who had forgotten Jason was in the room. He proceeded to make barfing noises, before finally leaving the room.

Richard shook his head, running a hand through his hair. "I hate him."

"No, you don't. He's twelve, what do you expect?"

"I hate him! He tried turning my teeth bright pink this morning!" Richard yelled out, folding his arms as Wally doubled over and started laughing. "Fuck youuuuu."

"Fuck me yourself, you coward." Wally laughed, flipping him off and running away as his boyfriend tried to catch him and judo-flip him.

"Get back here this instant, Wallace!" The ebony called, laughing so hard he didn't look where he was going and crashed into Artemis.

She screamed, landing on top of him. Pulling strands of blonde hair out of her mouth, she mumbled a quick "Sorry!" and hurriedly got up. She put her hand out to help the other up, and when he grabbed it she was surprised at how easy it was to pull him up.

"My bad, my bad!" Richard smiled, looking at the four teenagers and Bruce Wayne. "You must be Wally's team, I'm Richard," He held out his hand, everyone taking their turn shaking it.

Suddenly Wally was beside him, their hands interlocked. "Nice to see you've met the squad!" The redhead exclaimed, earning a look from Artemis.

"I mean, I already know Artemis." Richard laughed at her look. "But it's nice to see the 'Squad' fully assembled."

"You remember me?" Artemis asked, surprised.

"I mean, we do go to the same school. We even took a picture the first day you were there!" He replied without a hint of chalance, but Artemis seemed happy that he knew her, she expected him to forget she existed. "Even if we're in different grades and all that stuff."

"This is M'gann, Kaldur, and Connor." Wally stated, pointing the three out. "Rob couldn't make it, has to take care of Gotham while Bats is off world I guess."

"It's not like I've never met him or anything," Richard laughed, earning a nod from Kaldur. The fishboy had expected him to know Robin personally, as it was his boyfriend's best friend.

"You know Robin?" Connor asked, a little confused.

"It would be weird if I didn't. He and Wally are best friends." Richard replied, smiling before changing the subject. "Now, are you ready to meet my demon-brothers?"
