Hey, wouldya look at that

Jason looked out the window, over the empty streets. He was on the lookout for Joker's goons, who undoubtedly knew their location now. He turned to look at Gordon. The old man was sitting on a blood stained white couch, reading a similarly stained book.
“Commish?” Jason asked uncertainty showing in his voice. Gordon looked up and Jason realized that it wasn't the police commissioner, but the Joker wearing Gordon's signature leather coat. Jason collapsed in fear, cursing at his stupid legs to move.
“Tisk, tisk, Birdy. Who taught you your manners?” Joker said, getting off the couch slowly. He stalked towards Jason like a lion would to its wounded prey. Jason spewed some more curses as Joker grabbed his hair.
“You know, I thought little birds were all polite. Then again, I shouldn't expect so much from a street orphan,” Jason's eyes widened as he realized he wasn't in his Robin attire. Instead he wore a red hood with dark blue jeans. His mask and shoes were gone, leaving his identity known to Batman's greatest enemy.
Jason threw his fist out, landing it in the demented clown's stomach. Joker dropped to his knees, his hand still in Jason's black hair. All of Jason's instincts screamed to get away but he couldn't follow the good advice.
“Get off me!” Jason yelled. Joker growled and threw Jason into the wall. Large knick knacks were knocked off the shelves and onto Jason. He cried out as a particularly big one landed on his shoulder.
“You've been a bad birdie. I should let Gordie see who the Boy Blunder is before I kill him, but it's too far away and Batsy will ruin the fun,” Joker picked up the stained book, which turned to a blood stained crowbar in his hands. Jason made a strained noise as he saw the crowbar. He knew where the blood came from.
“Tell me, Bird Boy, do you think they'll care if you die?” Joker asked before drawing the dirty crowbar back.

“AAHHH!” Jason flinched awake. He took in the clean white walls and the beeping of the machines. He pulled himself into a sitting position as best he could. He knew where Gordon was and he had to tell Bruce.

“Jason!” The Boy Wonder looked up as the man he wanted to talk to entered the infirmary. Dick followed behind him, unsure. Jason decided to ignore him, focusing on Bruce.

“Bruce! I know where Joker took the Commish!” Bruce adopted his Batman persona almost instantly.
  “Where is he?”

“His favorite place. Amusement Mile,” Jason's arms collapsed from the strain of holding his body up. He fell into soft arms. Jason looked up to see that Dick caught him. He scowled.

“I'm fine, Goldie,” he said darkly. Dick gently laid him down on the bed.

“Nightwing, stay here. Keep an eye on Jason,” Dick looked extremely offended at that.

“Bruce, he can't walk. What trouble is he going to be?” Jason felt like he was punched in the stomach. He and Batman, Bruce had put on the cowl during Dick's argument, glared at Dick.

  “Screw you too, Goldie.”

“Jason,” Batman warned, “Dick. You know how stubborn he is. Plus Joker wants me to find him. No one else.”

Dick glared at Batman. He opened his mouth to argue further but was cut off by the Caped Crusader.

“This isn't up for discussion. Bring Barbara here. She could be in danger,” with that Batman went to the Batmobile and squealed out of the cave, startling some bats.

Dick sighed and turned to the frowning boy, “You up for a trip?”

“There's no way in hell are you carrying me to the car.”
