First of all, Verboten is one of the best Star Wars fics (and probably the best Anakin fic?) on this site. This is a non-negotiable fact. Literally, I'm unable to make anything for Anakin Skywalker if it's not with Adelaide Kane, that's how much Zarakin owns me. But, it's not just Verboten ─ all of her fics are fucking amazing and it's because her writing is fucking poetry. She deserves all the comments + votes in the world so go show her some support! She's also almost at 2K, let's get her there!!

When I fucking say that this took fucking FOREVER ─ Like, okay. If you follow me on Twitter, I first talked about this fucking video on MARCH 23RD. That attempt was scrapped after 2 days because I couldn't find good footage of Rose McIver and I didn't have a cohesive idea, aside from the song & the general concept. I tried again on May 2nd, but it fell through again && I was really starting to give hope. I was just gonna turn it into a gifset and call it a day. But THEN, on May 20th, while I was knee-deep in homework and exams, my inspiration of course decided to strike and HERE WE FINALLY ARE.

I wanted to include quick explanation before we got started because I love to over-explain things & ramble about my thought process<3 But anyways, I know the song can be interpreted in many ways (I'm pretty sure you talked about it in the context of Zara singing it to the triplets?? But maybe I'm thinking of a different song...) For me, listening to the song, I interpreted it as a love letter to Zara, from Anakin & the triplets (depending on the lyric). So, I guess, really listen to the lyrics as you watch. I'm pretty proud of the ~sYmbOLiSm~ or whatever<3
