Chapter Twenty – Three ~ You Destroyed Him

Ginny’s eyes opened slowly. For a second she simply laid on the cold, concrete floor as it cooled her cuts and bruises through her battered clothes. She sighed softly and then pushed herself into a sitting position. The movement alone caused her body to scream in pain. She groaned as she leaned back against one of the walls and took deep breathes, trying to calm herself.

Looking around, Ginny supposed that that would help her relax. Darkness surrounded her except a lone light above the entrance to the dungeon. It was a small magical light which would provide no help whatsoever for her. Ginny sighed as all she could see was darkness and feel the cold seeping into her body. She cursed as a pounding began in her head.

Ginny, tired of sitting even though it was what caused the least pain, pushed herself to her feet. As soon as she achieved that she had to lean against the wall until her legs seized their trembling.

“Bloody hell,” she cursed as they trembled. “They really beat me.”

When her legs finally stopped trembled, she pushed herself away from the wall and got about five feet before the chains yanked her back. She pulled on them, trying to force them to give her more space. They didn’t budge more than the original length.

“Dammit,” she mumbled as she stood in the middle of the dungeon.

Ginny was here, where she didn’t truly want to be and she still didn’t have any answers. “Merlin, help me,” she cried softly. She was in so much pain. She hurt all over the place and she couldn’t even blink herself out of the shackles.

Her power was completely useless.

Ginny ran her fingers through her hair but stopped when dried blood prevented her. She was drenched in blood; her own. She was black and blue from the beatings and her head was killing her but she needed to get answers, Merlin, she needed to get some kind of answers!

Footsteps outside the dungeon door pulled her attention. She looked up just in time to see Lucius Malfoy standing outside, his pale, distinct face looking back at her. He unlocked the door and pushed it open. He stepped into the room and closed the door, locking the two of them in then stashed the key to the door into his pocket. Ginny watched him in apprehension.

Lucius was alone. That was really, really bad.

He noticed her looking at the door.

“Cho has left for the day. You know what that means, Weasley.” Lucius grinned, “It means it’s just you and me, blood traitor; just you and me.”

He leered.

Ginny gulped nervously.

Lucius took a few steps towards her and stopped in front of her. He smirked at her expression.

“Worried, are you?” He asked. “You should be. Now, Chang can’t stop whatever I am going to do. And what I am going to do is going to be… going to be amazing.”

Ginny took a step back. He followed.

“I want to say that I don’t see the appeal that you might have to my son but I would be lying if I did. You’re a very beautiful woman and so full of life. So full of life,” He grinned as he ran a finger down her cheek.

Ginny stiffened. She couldn’t believe what was happening. No, there was no way that this was happening. No bloody way! Her brain screamed.

“Even though you’re badly bruised and covered in blood, you are still very, very appealing to a man’s eyes.” Lucius went on.

Ginny’s eyes widened and she stepped back until her back came to the wall. She had nowhere to run.

“When I first was contacted by Chang, I didn’t much like her ideas, her plans, her concepts. I have to tell you, I thought it was all pointless. I had been freed from Azkaban once, never thought I would see the light of day again but I’m glad that I have. The world has truly changed since I was locked away.

“Chang had a plan; a plan to expose you and the Ministry of Magic. First it was England because she knew you weren’t dead, she knew you were somewhere out there and then we found you. You were hiding away in the United States of America. I was shocked. I, personally, thought you were dead. Murdered seventeen years ago but low and behold, you’re alive; very much alive, I must say.” He walked towards her until he was standing a foot away.

“Chang wants you dead. She wanted you dead until she found out the truth. I don’t think she liked you much to begin with but when she found out who had killed that person, she was livid. You had to die and she had to expose that secret organization.

“Me?” Lucius continued, “I’m much simpler. You had to die because you ruined him. You weakened him. You destroyed all the hard work I spent years and years on. I had perfectly shaped him into the ultimate weapon. He was to be used by Voldemort or anyone I chose to cause unlimited damage to the Wizarding World. But no, you destroyed Draco Malfoy. So now, I must destroy you.” He glared at her.

“I don’t know if I will kill your filthy daughter. Maybe I can shape her, mold her into what she should be as a Malfoy. Hmm, I have to admit I like the idea.” He rubbed his chin in thought.

Ginny sucked in a breath. Her heart pounded loudly at the thought of Lucius anywhere near her daughter. No, no bloody way! Her mind screamed again.

“You won’t touch Amélie! You won’t even get anywhere near her!” Ginny growled.

“Oh, but I will.” Lucius said as if it was common knowledge. “I’ll get close to her after I am through with you. After I destroy you, I must destroy Draco. He is a risk I am not willing to keep in this world.”

He was plotting the demise of his own son; Ginny realized in shock. Planning the death of Draco; no, she couldn’t allow that. She’d just found him again.

“One thing can destroy him. Absolutely destroy him,” Lucius pointed out loud. “Not really a thing, but a person. Well, now it seems that there are two people. You and your daughter; how convenient that I have you right in my hands.”

Ginny struggled against the shackles.

“Oh, no, you’re not going anywhere.” Lucius grinned wickedly. “Not until I am finished with you.”

Ginny screamed internally as Lucius ran his fingers from her cheek, down her jaw to her neck and to her shoulder. Her body screamed to be released, to be away from this vile man. Ginny couldn’t even begin to think what Lucius Malfoy had planned.

“Chang wants you alive but I’ve got to admit, my urges are very savage. I haven’t really been with a woman in over seventeen years. Narcissa was the last.” He thought out loud, “It’s possible that you might not survive this encounter.”

Ginny shut her eyes.

“No, you must keep them open. I want you to see what I’m doing to you. I want to see the look in your eyes.” Lucius told her but she kept her eyes closed. “Do as I say.”

Ginny refused.

Crucio!” He yelled suddenly and indescribable pain spread through her body. She screamed as she felt as if her body was being torn apart.

When the pain suddenly stopped, Ginny noticed that she was curled up in a ball on the floor.

“You will do as I say,” Lucius said.

Ginny’s eyes opened and watched him standing above her.

“Stand up.” He ordered.

Ginny got to her feet; it was difficult since she was shaking so savagely.

“Perfect, now let’s get rid of these clothes.” He told her. “Diffindo!

Ginny gasped as her shirt was torn open. Lucius yanked it off of her.

“Yes, that’s better.” He smiled.

Ginny bit her lip. She couldn’t just let him have his way with her. No, she was Draco’s. Only Draco’s; no other man was allowed to touch her, definitely not his father.

Lucius took another step towards her causing his body to touch hers. Ginny took a deep breath and without taking another thought, she rammed her knee into his groin.

Lucius cursed loudly as he fell to his knees, causing his head to be at about waist level. She rammed her knee into his head and Lucius fell back unconscious with a loud crash in front of her. She watched as he laid there and finally allowed herself to feel.

Her heart pounded so hard in her chest she began to hyperventilate; tears spilling down her cheek.

Lucius Malfoy had planned to rape her, planned to violate her, planned to hurt his son.

He was a horrible person; Ginny thought as she collapsed to the floor in front of the unconscious Lucius. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. She needed to relax; she needed to compose herself before Cho Chang came back.

Ginny could feel her time running out; it was drawing near. It was closing in on her. She only hoped that she got everything in order before that time finally arrived.
