13 | EPILOGUE

Val was happy to be home in New York. But, soon after the next school year started, the administration found out Val hadn't been part of the blip and kicked her out of school. She and Peter continued dating, but Val moved on to focus on superhero stuff. She remained in New York, despite Pepper's pleas to have her move in with her and her daughter in their cabin.

After her incident in Europe, she realized she couldn't return to a normal life. She was so mentally screwed up from her past that she needed to focus herself on one task. Something big enough to consume her life and distract her from the horrors she endured. By being a superhero. Nick Fury recruited her after learning of her desire to break free from normalcy. She had finally chosen a path. She was no longer conflicted on whether she wanted to be a regular teenager or a true superhero. It was certainly the right path for her, since, she was designed to be a hero.

She revealed herself to the world as Valdís Stinson-Rogers. The daughter of the fallen Captain America and Captain Chronos. She no longer had to hide her face in combat, and the world had a new figure to look up to. She became the world's new face for the next generation of the Avengers. She was their hope and their future.

Val had promised herself to Peter and kept it by continuing to see Peter. She promised to stay faithful to him and continue visiting, which wasn't difficult since she still spent most of her time in New York. Until then, she worked closely with Fury and Maria to deal with any other Avenger level threats.
