Epilogue

"Gone? What do you mean she's gone?" Draco growled even though inside, his heart was pounding erratically in his chest.

Neville looked at the man in front of him and he truly felt bad. He wanted to tell Draco the truth; the truth that he was a father, that Ginny loved him, that Ginny was afraid, scared in a place she didn't know and couldn't even begin to understand.

But he couldn't. 

He had made an unbreakable vow with Ginny; she'd also made the vow with both Luna and George. It's not that she didn't trust them, she was just desperate. She didn't want anyone to know where her and her newborn Amélie disappeared to.

He pitied Draco.

It was hard knowing that the woman you loved, loved because Neville knew without a doubt that Draco loved Ginny, had disappeared.

Harder was the fact that Neville had to keep the truth to himself.

But the hardest for him was that he couldn't even tell Blaise; Blaise, who Neville was quickly beginning to see that he loved so much that it hurt.

Neville sighed, pushing Blaise away from his mind. He had to deal with Draco who seemed as if he was on the verge of breaking down; something Neville never thought he'd see in his lifetime.

"Yes, she's gone. Nobody knows where she went." Neville lied. He hated lying with a passion but what choice did he have?

He felt bad but not bad enough to die. 

"No, no. She can't be gone. I need to talk to her!" Draco said desperately.

"It's too late, mate." Neville shook his head sadly.

"No, it's not. Wait," Draco said and in the blink of an eye he was gone.

Neville gasped even though he knew about Draco's gift. It still took him by surprise.

Then suddenly Draco was back, a letter clenched in his hand. "I've got to - I need her to - I...dammit!" He growled as he looked at Neville.

"I need your owl," he said.

Neville shook his head again. "It's not going to work, Draco."

"I don't care what you say! I need to get in touch with her." He hissed. 

"She's gone." Neville told him, "It'll just return, unopened like all the other letters everyone has been sending her."

Draco immediately felt his stomach and heart drop as he remembered the letter he sent back to her unopened, unread. 

A taste of his own medicine; Merlin, it was horrible.

"I need her, Neville." Draco whispered.

Neville looked away from the broken look on Draco's face. He couldn't tell him. And at that moment, Neville hated Ginny for the vow she made him make.

"I'm sorry, Draco. You took too long and now, it's too late," was all he could say.

And there is the ending to Killer Lies! I know, CLIFFHANGER! hahaha sorry, I couldn't help it :D

But remember, there is a sequel: Killer Truths!

Unfortunately it won't be up for a week. I want to push forward a few more chapters for my other stories but don't worry, Killer Truths will be written, uploaded and loved by you guys!

This has to be one of the best stories I have ever written :D I absolutely adore it! maybe one day, if fan-fiction never becomes well known and famous, I'll take out the Harry Potter details and make it an original story! Maybe, maybe, maybe! hahaha :)
