Chapter Twenty – Seven ~ Yours or Mine?
The rest of dinner went by smoothly; the two of them talking about nothing and everything, except the kiss. She didn’t think they ever would, really. But it felt nice to just talk. What helped a lot was that Ginny simply thought of Draco as any other friend but she couldn’t get over the fact that Draco Malfoy was definitely better looking than any of her friends…ever.
She watched him while they talked and Merlin save her, she just couldn’t seem to be able to stop looking him in the eyes; those stone, cold beautiful gray eyes of his. She could drown in them and that’s why she tried her damn hardest not to. She couldn’t afford to just sit around and drown on them.
Dinner finally finished and Ginny stood, stretching much like a cat would. Draco’s breath caught in his throat as he watched her. She could drive any man to his grave; Scar head is a bloody idiot, he thought as his body tightened with desire. When he was around her, it was always like this and it felt like no matter what he did, he could never quench it. Regardless of the women he tried to…use to forget Ginny Weasley, it seemed like Merlin had other plans.
“Dinner was amazing, Draco, thank you.” Ginny smiled happily.
Draco nodded as he stood and grabbed her arm, pulling her to him. “Let’s apparated to Diagon Alley, I’ll walk you home.”
Ginny sighed; she didn’t want this night to end. Just like she didn’t want to be only his friend but damn if he didn’t make it easy. She wanted him, so bad that she ached for him.
“No, let’s stay here,” she wanted to say but instead said, “sure, it’s a lovely night.”
They left his apartment and apparated right back to an apparition area then walked the last few feet to the Leaky Cauldron. As they entered Diagon Alley, Ginny wrapped her cloak tighter around herself. Draco then casually wrapped her arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer to him.
For warmth only; Draco told himself but truly, he didn’t even believe it.
Ginny smiled a tad bit and hid it. Afraid of what Draco would say if he saw it.
They made their way down Diagon Alley when Ginny finally recognized the couple walking a few feet in front of them; she instantly stiffens, causing Draco to stumble slightly. And when he looked at her, he immediately grew concerned.
Her expression was neutral but it was her eyes, her chocolate brown eyes that concerned him. They were angry, fiercely angry.
Immediately her hand was clenching her wand and she was lifting it. If it wasn’t for his inhuman speed she would have killed the two people in front of them; and he knew, knew deep inside that that was what she had been planning to do.
“Red, you know you can only do that if it’s an assignment.” He whispered in her ear, trying to soothe her.
Her eyes instantly shot up to him and she relaxed.
“Potter sure has some bloody guts to walk so freely with that Mud – ah, bollocks, Granger.” Draco said which caused the corner of Ginny’s lips to tilt up.
She was relaxed, feeling better.
“They do seem to have a death wish,” Ginny replied.
“That’s only because they don’t know what you can do.” He agreed and maneuvered them down another path so that they couldn’t see Harry Potter and Hermione Granger walking down Diagon Alley as if they didn’t have a care in the world, hold hands and looking as if they were madly in love.

As they passed a pub, Ginny grabbed his arm and pulled him in. She went there every once in a while; actually this was the pub she’d been in when Draco had brought her home, months ago. Draco happily followed her in as she winked at him. She smiled as she sat on a stool a little off to the side by the jukebox, a muggle contraption that played music. She loved to pick the songs on it which were a combination of muggle and Wizarding music.
Draco slid into the stool next to her; Ginny immediately turned her attention over to Jeff, the bartender for the night.
“Ginny! It’s been awhile. How have you been? Just earlier I was wondering when you would come in to see me,” Jeff smiled flirtatiously at her.
Ginny noticed that next to her, Draco’s eyes were narrowed, watching the man suspiciously. She tried to not think about why he would be doing that.
“Jeff, been busy with work, but I’m here now.” She smiled, “now, surprise me, Jeffster and this git as well.” She nudged Draco who growled lightly at her.
She smiled at him, and he immediately let it go. Ginny did that to him.
“Sure thing, give me a second.” Jeff turned away.
“Why does he have to surprise me? I know what I want.” Draco complained.
Ginny bit her lips; he was so goddamn sexy, she thought as he gently brushed back a lock of hair that got in his eyes.
She cleared her throat and said, “Because I like surprises, occasionally, and I know you don’t.” She smirked at him which caused him to frown.
“You’re evil, you know,” he said as he got up and headed towards the jukebox.
“Wicked, Draco, not evil; and we both know you love it.” She responded seductively.
He froze, looking back at her from the jukebox. She was sitting on the stool; her legs crossed causing her little black dress to slide up to mid-thigh. She was leaning back against the bar, her wild fiery hair, hung down her shoulders and begged him to run his fingers through it; her expression one of mischief and delight.
For a few moments he didn’t do anything but look at her; he was sure he could set the bar on fire with the flames of want, lust and desire running through his veins. He just wanted to throw her on top of the bar and snog her until –
“Here you go,” Jeff’s voice brought him out of his vision of seducing Ginny Weasley.
Ginny winked at Draco as if she knew exactly what he was doing.
She patted the stool he had been sitting on previously. He immediately sat down and grabbed his drink.
She smirked then lifted the drink to her lips; taking a longer sip then usual and then finally put it down.
Ginny then looked up at Jeff and smiled; “wow, that’s great! What’s it called?”
“A tequila sunrise, it’s a muggle drink with tequila, orange and cranberry juice.” Jeff said.
“It’s amazing!” Ginny took another sip, “don’t you think so, Draco?”
“Yeah, it’s good,” he muttered as he took another sip. It wasn’t so bad. It was actually pretty good.
Ginny smiled at him, knowing he liked it as well.
~.~.~
“Jeff, Jeff, two more tequila sunrises,” Draco mumbled as he pushed away Ginny and his’ empty fourth glasses.
“Coming right up,” Jeff nodded and placed the two glasses in front of them.
“Spank you, Jeff,” Ginny replied causing both Jeff and Draco to laugh.
“Thank you, Ginny, thank you,” Draco corrected her, “but me on the other hand, gladly. I didn’t know you were into –”
Ginny immediately covered his mouth quickly before he finished that sentence.
“You just can’t help yourself, can you?” She asked.
“Nope, not at all.” He winked at her.
Ginny simply rolled her eyes.
“After this, I think we should head out.” Draco told her and he sipped on his drink.
Ginny nodded as she did the same thing.
After they finished their drinks, they were both drunk. Ginny stumbled out of the pub, Draco righted her quickly before she face planted with the dirty floor.
“Thank you, Draco.” She responded.
Yes, she was thoroughly plastered but that was okay. She could go home and sleep it off. Everything would be okay and she’d be perfect in the morning.
That was until she looked up into his eyes. They were stormy gray again and instantly her body responded to his heated look.
He grabbed her arms and pulled her roughly to him; smashing his lips on hers. A whisper of a moan escaped Ginny’s lips as she melted into his kiss. It was rougher, more possessive and passionate then the other one, if anyone could believe that. He pulled them into a dark alleyway away from prying eyes and pushed her up against the wall.
She clung to him as his tongue brushed against her bottom lip; she immediately opened her lips, allowing him access to her mouth. He growled softly when she lightly bit his tongue.
All her mind kept screaming was more, more, more.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer to her, their bodies touching in such a way that she stopped thinking.
They fit so perfectly together.
He pulled back and her lips followed his but his only moved to her neck where he gently nibbled on the space between her neck and shoulder. She moaned and began yanking at her clothes.
She needed to touch his skin; she needed them to be body to body with nothing in the way.
“Wait,” he whispered and pulled back. His voice was deep with want and desire.
Her mind immediately cleared enough to realize that they were still in Diagon Alley, in a dark alleyway.
“Yours or mine?” he whispered; giving her a choice not that it matter to her because Merlin only knew that she couldn’t get away, not now, not ever.
“Yours,” she responded, slamming her lips on his as she blinked them away.
