Blood's POV

     The mountain truly isn't that bad. I get food everyday, I have my own cell - er - room, and I have a roof over my head.

     The only downside is that I'm not alone. When you've been away from society for 5 odd years your 'people skills' get a bit 'rusty' I mainly talked the voices in my head. And they always agreed with me, except Cheryl. But being around new people is a little unnerving.

     I've survived on my own since I was 8. And to randomly be thrown into a freaking mountain! Is not a very good transition!

     To say the least. The mountain isn't awful. I just don't like - or want - change. I wanna go back to my hole and be alone with my thoughts.

Normal POV - in living room of mountain team and Batman are talking.

     After Blood went back to his room, Batman went to talk to the team. He'd just learned that Blood had been alone for 5+ years. For a kid who looks about 12 that's a long time. When Batman finally entered the living room he called the team so they could discuss the boy.

     "Team I have news about Blood." The team had already been talking about him. He was so young yet a murder. He was crazy, and already turned away from society. He was an odd person to say the least. They made their way to the Caped Crusader and listened.

     "I have recently talked with Blood and made a deal with him. He will become a part of the team. He is very skilled and could be a big help to the team." Batman finished. The team had been expecting this. Batman hadn't thrown Blood in Arkham yet. They were discussing his skills, so that when Bats told them they'd be ready.

     "We were expecting you'd say that, since you haven't put him in jail yet. We are glad you came to this decision, we also believe he will be a very helpful on missions." Kaldur spoke, the other nodded.

     "That is good to hear." Batman relaxed a very teeny tiny bit. "Also while I was talking to him he let some information about himself slip." The team looked at the Dark Knight with curiosity, "I called him a kid and he got defensive, he said he was not a kid and that he'd been alone for 5 odd years."

     "He's been alone for little over 5 year! No wonder he's insane!" Wally yelled. The information hit the team like a truck. This kid was younger than them and had been alone almost half his life.

     "Yes. I believe that will cause more of a problem. Since he has been alone he will be very self-reliant. So gaining his trust will he extra hard." Batman finished. The team absorbed even more info. It was a lot. They all felt pity for the boy. They wanted to help him, but now they knew he probably didn't want help from anyone but himself.

Normal POV

     Batman had allowed Blood to roam the mountain, and the boy decided to get to know the new scene a little bit. He wandered for a good ten minutes before making his way to the living area. He saw a big green couch and chairs, and a large TV. There was also a kitchen nearby which most likely had food in it.

     While Blood was taking in the room, the team jumped up. They were not informed that he could leave his room.

     "Blood what are you doing out of your room?" Wally questioned. He was not as nervous as the others but was still a little worried.

     "Stay whelmed Kiddy League." Blood put his hands up in a of show surrender, "Batsy said I could roam around this mountain of yours since I've been good." The team relaxed but kept their gaze on the assassin. Blood looked around the room once more, then sat down on the couch besides Wally.

     "What exactly can you do in this rock KF?" Wally was at first confused by the nickname but didn't mind it.

     "There's a ton of stuff we can do," Wally shrugged. "What did you have in mind?"

     Blood had murder on his mind, but he probably shouldn't say that, "Murder, but I can't do that, what do you do when your bored?"

     The rest of team was now listening to the conversation. Blood was talking to Wally as if the rest weren't even there. It was pretty obvious he only cared to talk to Wally. "Well we could watch a movie." Wally suggested. Trying not to think about the others dark answer. A movie seemed like a good idea, just watch a movie and relax.

     "Ok." Was Bloods simple reply. He had never seen a movie. He used his computer for work only, and he didn't have a TV while in the circus. So a movie was a new concept to him.

     "You guys wanna watch too?" Wally asks the team. They all replied with a 'sure' or a 'yes' and made there way to the large couch or a chair.

     "So what do you wanna watch?" Wally asked Blood. He wanted him to chose, mainly because he didn't want his friends to chose. They all watched weird stuff. ( not gross stuff you dirty minded people )

     "I don't know I've never seen a movie." Blood shrugged. He sat there and looked at the others in the room, they were all gawking at him. "What?" He asked them nervously.

     "You've never seen a movie?" M'gann asked, this kid hadn't tried anything. He's never eaten pancakes and has never seen a movie. He may as well of grown up in the circus.😉

     "No I haven't. Why are you staring at me like a grew a third arm?" Blood was completely oblivious that never seeing a movie added to his list of oddities.

     "Well I guess we'll just have to get you up to speed then." Wally smirked. "Movie Marathon!"

     Blood sat confused on the couch. The other teens had told him to stay put while they prepared. The team got popcorn and other movie snacks. Wally grabbed every genre of movie they had. Horror, Musicals, Sci-Fi, Action, Disney, Fantasy, ect.

     When the team returned with boxes, snacks, and blankets. Blood face twisted into one of utter confusion. The team noticed and explained.

     "So I got basically all the genres of movies we have." Wally gestured to all the moves he had in his hands.

     "Me and M'gann made traditional movie snacks." Artemis and M'gann had popcorn, drinks, and very small amount of candy.

     "I got blankets because we may be here a while." Kaldur explained. They all looked excited, even Connor who had a tiny smile plastered on his usually cold face. Blood was still very confused but let them continue.

     "Alright then," Wally sped over to the coffee table to put the movies down. "Let's get this marathon started." He smiled.

Normal POV

      They had watched so many movies they had lost count. But Blood liked movies. Horror was definitely his favorite genre. While the others where hiding their faces under the covers Blood had a giant creepy smile. The team was glad they got the boy to genuinely smile. Even if it did creep them out.

     It was around 4am when Batman went to check on the team. He was in the mountain the whole time, but when they started the movies he went to the meeting room to do a little work. So at 4 he went to see if they had finished. And he, the Batman, smiled when he saw all the teens asleep on the couch. Each with a peaceful smile on their face.

     "Good Job Team." He thought. They were getting the boy to like them, and they were liking him too.
