Out here there's no Negotiation

     Blood-Wing sat in his alley hole, typing on his laptop, that he borrowed from Wayne Tech. Most people who made deals with him were to scared to talk to him in person so they emailed him. (Fun fact: I was gonna call Blood-Wing, Blood. But instead made it a villain nickname)

     Ping! That sound meant someone has a job for the boy.

     "Ohhhh another job, what you think it's gonna be Dick!" One of the voices Dick had named Chad asked.

     "Don't know Chad, I hope it's someone I have to chase or stalk before I kill 'em." Dick replied.

Unknown: Hello Blood-Wing

BW: Hey

Unknown: Ok I have a target who will only be in town for a short period of time. I am willing to give you some new weapons once the job is complete.

BW: Hmmm. Ok who's the target.

Unknown: His name is Connor Kent. He is from Metropolis and will be near the docks around 8. He's a teenager has black hair and will most likely be wearing a black shirt with a Superman symbol on it.

BW: ok. Where will I be meeting you to claim my reward.

Unknown: I will be in a ware house nearby.

No Room to start a Conversation
Normal POV - Inside Mount Justice

     Batman had just told the team about a new assassin in Gotham that he needed help catching. Wally, Artemis, Connor, Kaldur, and M'gann listened carefully to the plan he had thought of.

     "Ok Team I am going to contact the assassin known as Blood-Wing who has been in Gotham for a few years now." He began. "The plan is, I will use one of you as bait and we will capture him."

     "Oh so who's gonna be bait?" Artemis asked.

     "I believe Connor should, he can survive since bullets cannot hurt him. And we can grab him easy if he tries to jump him." Batman finished.

     "Anything special about this villain we should know Batman?" Kaldur asked.

     "There is not much on him. Except that he is suspected to be in his 20s. He normally uses knives on his victims. And his signature is to draw a pair of wings around the person using the victims blood." That made the team shudder.

     "This dude is sick." Wally spat.

     "Yes but he is very good, watch your backs at all times when fighting him." Batman agreed.

     The team watched the conversation between Batman and Blood-Wing. He was falling for their trap.

Normal POV
Before you get a taste it's taken

     Dick hid in the shadows waiting for this, Connor Kent to show up. He chose to use his Katana he'd gotten from doing a job for Deathstroke. It was one of his favorite toys.

"Dick you sure you wanna do this." One of the more sane ( I guess ) voices Dick names Cheryl asked.

"Oh course he does." Chad replied.

"Can you two shut up I'm trying to stalk!" Dick yelled at the voices.

Connor awaited until 8:05 to turn into the docks. Wally was watching from the side of a building. Artemis was watching from a boat. M'gann was flying high above the ground in Camo-mode. And Kaldur was in the water. They all waited for the mercenary to show his face.

     At 8:06 there was movement in the shadows, and a boy who appeared 12 stepped out. He was wearing and all black costume besides his red mask. He also had a blood red utility belt and blood red cape, which had dark yellow in the inside. He jumped behind Connor and put his Katana to his neck.

     "Hey I'm sorry for this kid, but I get cool new toys once your gone." Blood-Wing whispered. Connor stood there frozen just as they had planned.

The other 4 heroes stepped out of there hiding places ready to attack the kid. He didn't even flinch when the new heroes appeared. He laughed.

"Wow, I'm surprised I didn't catch on that this kid was bait." He chuckled. It was creepy, not at all childlike.

"Blood-Wing surrender and come with us!" Aqualad commanded.

"Nah I'm good. Do I still get a reward if I kill him?" Blood replied.

"Blood-Wing come with us or we will take you by force!" Kid Flash yelled.

Blood turned his head towards the hero, "Then let's fight." He smirked.

The Team was at first dumbfounded at how young the mercenary looked and sounded. This guy was obviously younger than them, but he was still a killer. So they got into a fighting stance.

Never let you guard down

The team was the first to move. Connor initially tried to grab the kid but failed. Blood had backflipped away towards the water. Kid Flash went to punch him, but Blood was fast. Fast enough to move out of the way of the speedster so he flew into the water.

Artemis was next to move. She shot arrow after arrow, but Blood avoided them all. He expertly flipped and dodged and wasn't even skimmed.

"Wow he's good." Wally said over the mind link.

"He so young though." M'gann added.

"Young, but very skilled." Kaldur countered.

"Who do you think trained him?" Artemis asked.

"Who knows but he's way to skilled." Wally answered.

The team did every attack they could think of. Blood expertly deflected each one. He was even capable for keeping M'gann out of his mind. But what no one expected was that Batman has been watching from the shadows. He was waiting to jump out and grab the kid. He had a needle full of elephant tranquilizer in hand.

Blood was focused on the each member of the Young Justice team. He hadn't been hit yet and he wasn't even sweating. But when Batman jumped out of the shadows right on top of him he was genuinely surprised.

"Hey Batman!" Blood smiled.

"Oh man Dick Batman's got ya!" Chad yelled.

"I knew this wouldn't turn out good." Cheryl scolded.

The team didn't know Batman had come along, but were glad he did. Batman didn't respond to Blood just stabbed him in the neck.

"Woah! Hey there Bats your suppose to ask before injecting someone." Blood had dealt with tranquilizers before so he could withstand them longer than most. Batman slowly got off the boy thinking he was done for. Blood stood up shakily, but he wasn't done yet. He turned around and got a good hit on Batman. He then tried to run, and actually got very far. But the team wasn't far behind him when he finally collapsed.
