"hey professor dad may I talk to you" I asked my father in law professor Ibadishi.

"what is it my boy" the professor said taking off his dusty goggles.

I sighed "do you think I'll be a good mother? The baby's coming any day now and I don't feel ready"

The professor walked up and petted my head "you know kiibo was asking me the same thing just last week"

"really?" I said surprised that kiibo was also feeling unprepared.

"yes and do you know what I think?"

"what?" I asked nervously.

"I think you are both very mature and caring. You'll both make wonderful parents"

"thanks dad!" I said hugging him.

"no problem my boy" he chuckled "now how about we get some snacks I'd say we earned it!"
