The next day I wake up and the sun is shining just right in my face. I roll over and he is sound asleep beside me. I decide to get up and make my way into the kitchen to search for something to eat. Of course the fridge is still empty and I go through the bags finding a yummy breakfast bar. I try to pretend that it is something else. I don't know how much longer I can go on eating these things.

As I am getting ready to sit at the table he comes into the room with a big smile on his face. "There you are; how did you sleep?"

"Better once I got back in bed. Sorry for keeping you up half the night."

"No big deal." He walks over to the counter and grabs a bar out of the bag and then comes over to sit beside me. "So looks like it's going to be a very warm day...what do you think about going swimming?"

"Swimming...I don't know. What will I wear? I mean I did not pack a suit or anything."

He just smiles.

"If you think I'm skinny dipping you're so wrong...not happening." I finish off the bar and wait for him.

 Once he is ready we head back out down to the lake. It's only the end of April and this weather is crazy. I mean in the shade it's so nice with the right amount of breeze blowing against us, however walking in the sun is actually really warm...so warm that I am sweating and I hate to sweat. I have to keep my eyes wide open and focus on the ground for all the tree roots hiding in the shadows and the branches from the trees that are at the right height to smack you across the face.

 I never really have been a fan of the outdoors; I guess because of all the insects that like to buzz around your head and feels like they try to get in your ears. I walk with my mouth closed because I don't want any bugs flying up in my mouth.

When we get to the bank; he starts to take off his clothes and I can't help but stare at his lean body. Thanks to Ava for putting those thoughts in my head. Damn...Kade has a body made of stone and his abs are lined so well. He has the nice 'v' shape along his pelvis and I can only image what the rest might look like. I watch him take off his jeans and his legs are also solid muscle, holy hell if he takes off his boxers I am done for.

 He turns around in time to catch me staring at him."Do you like what you see...if you took a picture it might last longer?" He smirks.

"I would but you threw my phone out remember...but don't worry I will keep a visual picture in the back of my head." I smirk back at him.

"Well then...look at this babe." He turns back around and yep to my surprise he pulls down the boxer, letting them hit the ground beneath his feet and then I watch as he steps out of them and kicks them to the side. He doesn't turn around to see if I am still looking, instead he takes off running and jumps right into the lake.

I wait for him to come back to the surface. "What are you waiting for come on in...you can do it?"

"Yeah...Sophie...go on I dare you to strip and jump in with him."

I glance over to see Emily laughing. I'm scared of the water...what if...what if I drown. What if I sink to the bottom and never come back up or if someone or something holds me down and my life slowly escape my body. I slowly proceed to take off my jeans and then my shirt leaving on my bra and panties.

"Tell me you are not leaving those on," says Ava.

 "Come on be a little daredevil...after all he is completely naked."

"And...doesn't mean I have to be. Besides...what if I can't jump? I'm scared." I tell her.

"Are you coming or not?" Yells Kade. "I will turn around...I promise I will not look."

I'm not sure that I can just strip and act like it is nothing. However the longer I stand there, Emily and Ava keep going on and on about it.

"Don't do it Sophie...leave it on." Emily smiled sarcastically.

"Oh my God....seriously....it's not like he hasn't already seen you. Remember just the other night you were changing and he saw you...what's the difference just do it." Glares Ava back at Emily.

"Fine...I will do it." I reach behind my back to unfasten my bra and I lay it on the ground on top of my jeans and then I look to make sure that he is not looking and then I pull down my panties. I take off running to the lake and jump in without even thinking about the consequences. The water is actually amazing against my body.

The only thing is...I keep sinking to the bottom. What if I don't want to come back up? I mean this would be the perfect time to just let go. But when I open my eyes to the not so clear water, I see him staring back at me. I can't do this to him. I can't just end it not after what he said he had been through with his dad. So I force my way back up to the top.

 I watch him as he shakes his head, letting water fly off of his hair and then he uses both hands to push is hair back out of his face. "There you are...what were you just thinking about down there?"

"Oh...nothing..."

"Really...I saw the look in your eyes."

To avoid the subject, I reach over and dunk him under the water and swim away. He comes up and swims after me. Once he catches me he picks me up and tosses me in the water. I go down laughing and apparently got more water in my mouth than what I had thought. I come to the surface coughing up a lung. I move my hand on the surface of the water, splashing him right in the face.

"Hey watch it." He yells.

"Awe...what big boy can't handle getting water in his eyes." I try to laugh but I am still gagging from the water going down the wrong way.

We both take off and swim to the middle of the lake and then float on our backs for awhile. Not too long after that we swim back to the bank and get out. I wait for him to get out first so that he can't see me getting out. I grab my panties and my bra and then go over to the grass where the sun is shining so brightly. I lie down and let the warm sun dry out my body. He puts on his boxers and then comes over to join me.

 "So what are they like?"

"Who...Emily and Ava?"

"Yeah...what are they like tell me about them."

"Well...Emily is like my best friend. She is always there...right by my side."

"Is she now...where is she?" I watch as he looks around.

"She is sitting across from me."

"Tell her I said hi." He sits up and looks towards the space in front of me.

 I get ready to tell her and she laughs. "Tell him I said hi...and he better hope he doesn't hurt you."

I giggle... "She heard you...she said hi and that...that you better not hurt me." I watch as he picks up a rock and skips it in the water.

"I'm not here to hurt you...I just needed a way to get away."

I try to smile back at him. I grab a rock and toss it towards the lake but it sinks to the bottom, instead of skipping along like his did. "So Emily...is like my height and my size. She has a zillion little freckles across the bridge of her nose and along her cheeks. And her hair is a pretty almond brown color with just the right hint of blonde. It's really pretty when the sun hits it just right. Anyway she is like my go to girl...like my best friend. Not that Ava is not...it's just Ava likes to get me in trouble more."

I pick up another rock to try to skip it...nope, no such luck. "Ava on the other hand is more rounded out and has a carefree spirit...She has jet black hair if you could see her you would think she was almost like a ghost. Her skin in so pale...she could really use some sun but the sun never reaches her skin. Unlike mine..." I look down at me skin that is now a pretty shade of pink. "I'm going to burn out here. Maybe we should go back in."

"The weather is beautiful today...you are not going to burn."

I stand up anyway and start putting on the rest of my clothes. He doesn't get it...he doesn't understand that if my skin turns any redder...I am going to burn. Like really burn. I look down at my hand and I can see a glimpse of flames playing with my skin. I shake my hand like crazy and it's gone. I look back up at him and he is giving me a really strange look and I know that look...that look that I have really lost my mind.

I don't bother waiting on him; instead I head straight for the cabin and enter it letting the screen door slam behind me.

He comes in behind me. "What is wrong?"

"Nothing can you just give me some space...I need to be alone for a while."

"Whatever...I'm going walking. I will be back later."
